No such luxury for me. I keep spreading my iso around. My only character at max remains Juggernaut. I did break the century mark with Ragnarok yesterday, though, which felt a little bit momentous (to have my first character in triple digits).

Those numbers are only possible with Rags or Mags, maybe Doom. As someone who invested in Spidey, I'd be lucky to get even half that amount.

Lightning rounds over... made #1 in that final Doom, putting him at 5/4.

Total haul -- 1/1 Rags, 1 blue/2 purple Mags, 2 Doom, 200 HP, whoknows ISO.

Yeah that last Doom round was rough... I unfortunely got a phone call I had to take with 6 minutes left, but was relieved to still get top 8 to finish out my Doom. Though I don't see using him much now that I've got Rags and Mags max-skilled. This was my first lightning rounds playing with a max-skilled Mags (5/3/5), and I think I'm in love

Yeah, the competition was fierce for the top 2, but I didn't have to rely on boosts to come in in the top 8 (think I came in 4th). Happy that I got another blue doom cover, which is all that I wanted.

I had been focusing almost entirely on heroes, and had gotten no real villain draws to speak of. After a few Doom covers to get me in the game for the Doom round, I've got him at 5/3 and once I finish him off I'll tank for all but Rags and see if I can finally win one with an Uber Doom. Haven't gotten a single Rag cover since I started playing.

Seems like it only takes 1 high level 3* villain to get the others with this format.

Yup. I chained it. I started with a medium level hood to win some magneto covers, then used mags to win ragnarok covers.

I'd say now it's nearly impossible to win a mag or rags cover without a high level mags or rags. Should probably start on doom and get him to 75+ and then try to use that to win a mags (if lightning rounds continue).

I'd say now it's nearly impossible to win a mag or rags cover without a high level mags or rags. Should probably start on doom and get him to 75+ and then try to use that to win a mags (if lightning rounds continue).

With tanking the Dooms were pretty easy to place Top 8 in. You're saying that even with tanking Rags and Mags Top 8s are harder just because that's what everyone's going for? Makes sense.

I've got Doom at 60 now with 89 max level, so after a few more Hunt refreshes 75+ seems pretty doable this week.

I don't always skip high level dooms but they give me pause because it's not time efficient to wittle down that guy's hp

Again, someone running a L15 Rags, L50 IM35, and L40 Juggy got top 8 in Rags last night. He was neck and neck with me and I came in top 2. I don't know how he did it -- burning tons of health packs maybe -- but I was surprised.

Grats. I was surprised when I suddenly went up to #1, since I'd been going between #2 and #3 for most of the last half hour. I simply avoided any team that had even a mid level Rags (too many hp). I know I beat on one guy 4 or 5 times, and I feel sorry for him. I only got attacked twice the entire round -- L100 Rags, L75 Mags, and L25 Doom scared pretty much everyone off.

ive been throwing storm as my 3rd (with rags and mags) to deter attackers because you either need to 1) take some damage 2) delay your onslaught or 3) waste a thunderclap on her. Plus my storm is low enough level that a high level mag or rag will always trigger her tempest with just a simple match 3.

My strategy is the 6AP start, one clear of reds or greens, 1 feral strikes, Thunderclap = Dead Storm with no damage taken. These kinds of teams always make me lol.
