    Like my last one I'm seeing more clumping or higher scores for top 5 than prior to the reward change, but lower scores for spots 6-10.

    My bracket right now is 1160-919 for 1-5, 858-755 for 6-10.

    Pretty sure I hit you as you were worth 40+ for me. Didn't recognize the name (although I will now), but it's good to know you feel this way.

    As for the shield calling, I know myself and likely many others avoid other forumites (maybe to foster the community here?) cause it's not really that big of a deal to hit skip a couple more times to find someone else worth just as many points or more that I don't recognize. However, seeing a name you recognize and then checking/knowing they are shielded makes you/me feel fine about hitting that person.

    You did hit me. You always should icon_e_smile.gif . I'm worth pts and my team is horrendous on defense. The game doesn't allow you to "just hit skip a few times" if you have a serious score you have so limited options. That's the game now in PVP.

    I've not had time to start until now. Got roster of the usual 85's, nothing 3* of use and a semi covered BW but not really of much use.

    And here I am facing all sorts of random groupings well into the 100's. Playing teams of maxed BW's and other close to maxed 3*'s. There is little hope of me winning.

    How am I actually supposed to get past a few games?

    Edit - Just played. Got my top couple of top characters taken out. I'd like to play more, but not just to grind to make the bottom rung. Just looked at all my future matches and skipped some. I can't beat anyone. Maybe one match or two, if I am lucky, but then dead as anything. Can a dev please tell me what exactly I am supposed to do now? Is this what you mean by wanting to encourage roster diversity? Frustrating beyong belief.

    Edit 2 - Won 1 game. Only game options are team after team far higher than me. I'll have no more characters of use after one more game, regardless of the result. I give up.

    No worries! I was unshielded, but I almost never shield until t-9hrs out. The only time I get cheesed is when someone hits me multiple times as I'm trying to cross 1100. Even then, it's part of the game. You're a good sport for being worried about it though!

    And yeah 2-10 in my bracket is all between 877 and 736. Scores seem a little lower in general and I've never seen bunching like this in the top 10 before.

    Top 10 in my bracket goes from 1318-570. I've never seen this big a gap in the top 10 before. Kinda crazy!

    The top person in my bracket has a character at level 85, level 76, level 50 and the rest at 15 or less. I can't get past a few matches and I have a FAR larger and levelled roster.

    Their top score is jumping - 536, 584, 606, 647, 724, 745 (this in under an hour) and has now shielded at 735 (number 10 currently at 458). HOW is that possible???

    And jumping was 536, then 584 and now 606. How???

    Nice touch.

    Edited my post to show how they are leaping on points. Frustrating that I have no one left to use now and languishing at the bottom. Like said tank. Touche.

    This tournament and last the top 10 has been somewhere in the mid 600s...I can't tell if this one is just apathy towards DD or true healing hobbling scores.

    That's my bracket too! I've been jumping as well, but the only sub-100 champions I've seen have been 60+ GSBWs.

    First time I've really encountered the 'harder for veterans' thing.

    use the blue/purple boost and you probably can play longer too. Kinda like paying for health packs with iso?

    I think it is apathy. I've been 300 under my norm for this PVP, the last one, and probably the next one as well - I can get to that range without shielding and save my hp for rewards I actually want.

    Wow, so far I hate this tournament. Instead of every team HAVING to have OBW (though it's impossible thanks to it being a GSBW event) everyone has to have Ares since he can quickly hit for a lot. Rad. A lot done for diversity. <<

    My top 10 hasn't changed in 2 hours and includes 7-10 unshielded at 597-520. I am not kidding, these guys aren't even actively playing it seems (and not getting hit either). Deertylunatic was shielded earlier in 3rd at 932, I think he must have just missed his shield expiring cause he just slid down 100 points and reshielded...in 4th icon_razz.gif. This tournament is crazy.
