I'm pretty sure what he's saying is that there are players in most major alliances that get these anti-cheat auto-flags (that are likely only looked into manually afterwards), so having some of the X-Men get these auto-flags isn't something that's outside of the norm for top alliances...which probably isn't too terribly surprising, since those players are likely far outliers, anyway. The takeaway from that is that he was saying that being flagged like that isn't necessarily an indication of cheating.
So, I imagine it's something like a flag to show that your average number of swaps per game is less than 10, overall, when the average number of swaps per game for the overall playerbase is 30, which would seem awfully suspicious. But, for the players in top alliances, maybe something like two-thirds of all of their PvP matches are played against Lightning Round seed teams, where winning matches in 4-5 swaps is pretty typical for the really easy ones (and, really, could often be done in 2 swaps.) So maybe that skews the data in such a way that what seems like super suspicious behavior is actually just different player mentality.0 -

How can they tell how many swaps it takes to win a match? isn't that the whole point of the 1 hit ko speed hacks? the fact that they don't keep track of the actual match? If that were the case it would be pretty obvious to see flo finishing matches way too early.0 -

Klingsor, our ex boss, used to be a **** sometimes, he even recognized by himself, but he was always saying "if I catch a cheater in alliance he will be kicked with no mercy".
A while ago some of the scAvengers reported quick attacks from one of the IIRC Poisons. I contacted Jamie (for obvious reasons I decided not to contact klingsor ) and in a couple of hours the cheater was gone.0 -

It was really just an example of a possible flag, I'm sure there's more than that.
I am pretty positive they measure swaps, though (and ability usage and other things I'm sure.) The more interesting aspects would be around how that data is submitted from the client to the server and how it can be circumvented. So, we all pretty much know the entire match is played on the client, otherwise we would notice things going haywire whenever there are connection issues. It's also likely that players would get auto banned if their average number of swaps is 0-1 per game. So now maybe the speed hack manages to manipulate the the reported number of swaps back to the server. Or maybe cheaters kept on noticing getting banned, so now they make 10 useless swaps, then trigger the hack. Who knows.0 -
My question is how do you stop them? You boot them or sandbox them and they'll just create another account and do the same ****. It makes me sad that people need to ruin things like this.0

Noob question: Can't the Devs keep the track of cheater's IP?0
-
I love it how the devs seem to spend 90% of their time to invent increasingly convoluted stuff that sucks the fun out of the game (scaling, MMR, sharding, anti-tank measures, locking people out of events completely), yet they either can not or don't want to investigate alleged cheating in a timely manner.
And then at least give some feedback on whether they found someone cheating or not.
This really does not send the right signals.0 -
EDIT: was having a brain failure0

I don't see Flo98 and GIPSY_DANGER... changed IGN or changed alliance?0

They're both in X-Men2 currently.0

OK thanks. Found them.0

I have the perfect solution. I think the DEV's need to get an agreement with both the s.h.i.e.l.d. Leaders and X-men leaders. They need to agree the DEV's start and investigation inradiately. If X-men are found cheaters ban every single one of us in all 5 alliances. If X-men are not found cheaters. Ban every single player in s.h.i.e.l.d. That is only fair outcome since s.h.i.e.l.d.'s leaders have continually let thier members slander us on an open forum.....so agreement???0

I don't think it's unreasonable. What I find most distressing about this situation is that anyone is still defending these guys. 2k without cheating is completely impossible.0
