Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): How is this possible?! You’re the…… Red Skull!

Red Skull (Original Director): Hahahaha. Who else would be sinister enough to ruin the lives of millions of players worldwide!

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): But you’re not real. You’re just a character created for a comic book..

Red Skull: Back in 1943, I discovered a cube called the Tesseract. While fighting Captain America, a portal opened up to a new world.. this world.

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): That was a movie..

Red Skull: Preciously. While walking the streets of this world, I came across a comic book of Captain America. I thought it was strange until I stumbled in front of a movie poster of “Captain America: The First Avenger” with me on it. Curiosity led me to watch the movie.. my life.. on screen.. exactly like it played out in my world.

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): This is incredible. How did this lead you here to D3/Demiurge?

Red Skull: After the movie, I stood up, the audience did not fear me, they actually hugged me and asked to take a picture with me. I realized that in this world I can be a bad guy and people will still love me. Eventually I decided the best way to advise a plan to rule the world in secrecy was to use F2P mobile gaming. I discovered MPQ a few months before the second Anniversary of this game.

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): That explains why Anniversary II was so awful compared to the first one. But why? How can you rule the world using MPQ?

Red Skull: Simple. By building an army of addicted players! This game has made me richer than I could ever imagine, but that was only the start. This wealth allowed me to configure MPQ to merge my world with this world. Every tile swipe, match won, and character champed is slowly opening portals around the globe. Soon our worlds will be one and I will be the ruler.

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): How long do you expect these players to be addicted and continue to play this game? The players are have grown frustrated and are slowly losing interest. It is to the point that they feel like Beta Testers because aspects of the game are broken.

Red Skull: Mwhahahaha! You’re exactly right! They are the BETA testers! I need the Developers to continue with my plan. The players have been complaining for years but they still play! Every player we lose, two more join!

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): Just like Hydra..

Red Skull: Indeed. No one will be able to stop me!

Wolverine: I don’t think so bub!

Punisher: Your time is up Red Skull. Your little portal also allowed us to come to this world.

Red Skull: You fools! Do you think I am here alone? D3/Demiurge team, time to reveal your real self!

Wolverine: What the hell did you just get us into Spidey?

Spider-Man: You think I knew that our archrivals would be here?

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): That explains why these villains are oddly missing from the game!

Mr. Sinister (CFO): And we would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for these meddling superheroes!

Red Skull: You’re smarter than I thought. The reason they are not in the game is because they are here. I noticed these gentlemen have either been missing in the movies or have been poorly used. I found a way to bring them to this world. And for those that opposed me… I left them in the other world. Once our two worlds merge, any character in the game will become locked in the game.. forever!

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): That’s why you release new characters so quickly and with more Heroes! This is all making sense now. Why didn’t we think of this?

Mysterio (Developer 1): Because it is something so unbelievable you would think you’re simply imagining it!

Gambit: Enough chit chat. What about me? What about Gambit? This equipment was causing chaos in my world

Electro (Developer 2): And it will cause chaos in this world! That equipment is simply a comic cover in the game but once we develop this power to be used here, we will be unstoppable. No amount of weapons, warriors or even laws will stop us. It will be electrifying!

Spiderman: I still do not understand all of this

Red Skull: Spidey, you of all people should. We’re the reason why Sony is sharing your character with Marvel. Mr. Sinister has been the voice for Disney to make all this work. He recently threatened Fox to sell to Disney.

Mr. Sinister (CFO): That’s right! How dare Fox not include me in their movies. Magneto is an overused bum. That was why it was so easy to accept Red Skull’s offer.

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): But why is Jigsaw here? He was recently in the Punisher TV Show and he was great!

Jigsaw (Controller 1): You can also thank Mr. Sinister for that. I was in a horrible movie until he came up with the idea to work with Netflix for TV. See how all of this is coming together now?

Punisher: I have a TV show… children watch me… children… my kids… wait.. enough! We’re just standing around talking. Time to punish you scum! ::Starts shooting his guns::

Wolverine: It is about time! ::Unleashes his claws and tackles Sabretooth::

Sabretooth: You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting to mop the tiles with you ::Slashes at Wolverine::

Mr. Sinister: Well Mr. Murdock. I looked forward to meeting you. Too bad it must end here

Daredevil: Meet me in the hallway and you’ll see how it ends ::Walks out the door::

Gambit: ::In the corner playing solitaire:: Nobody cares about Gambit

Mysterio: ::Notices Gambit:: Eh.. waste of time

Wolverine: ::Repeatedly slashing Sabretooth:: Rrrrwwwww!

Mysterio: Let’s see how your animal instincts handle this ::Puts Wolverine under an illusion::

Wolverine: ::Feels like he’s covered in Scorpions:: Noooo! I’m covered in Scorpions! Rrrrraw!! ::Punches his claws right through Mysterio’s dome::

Mysterio: ::Collapses to the floor::

Gambit: Logan look out! ::Throws a flaming card towards Sabretooth::

Sabretooth: ::Gets blasted through the wall::

Daredevil: ::Comes out of the hallway through the wall:: Well that was easy

::Sabretooth and Mr. Sinister are covered beneath the rubble::

Punisher: ::Smashes Jigsaw’s head into the window and throws him off the 28th floor:: Try waking up from that, Billy

Spider-Man: ::Has Electro webbed up in a cocoon, shocking himself:: Well he’s stunned out of action

Punisher: Looks like you’re out of resources, Red Skull

Red Skull: I was not anticipating this, but no matter, I will start my plan of merging our worlds now! All I need to do is push this button

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): I don’t think you want to do that

Red Skull: Oh but I do! ::Begins to move his finger towards the button but is having trouble:: My hand.. why can’t I move it? None of you have telekinetic powers.

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): Actually I am not from this world either.. ::Begins to float from the floor::

Red Skull: What?! Who are you?

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): I am from the MPQ game itself!

Red Skull: That is impossible..

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): Before you disposed of the original Developers, they coded me into the game. As the player frustration grows, so does my powers. Every bug you neglect to fix simply makes me stronger. My sole creation was to be the savior, the voice of reason for the players, and the one who will put an end to this all!

Red Skull: But how could you come out of the game?

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): It is no less believable than how you’re here. The player’s high aggravation and distain from Boss Rush in Anniversary III gave me the ability to be born into this world. I simply continued to grow as you added things like Venom Bomb PVE, Vaulting, Win-Based PVP, etc. Your greed has made me powerful, and this power will put you back where you belong!

Red Skull: NOOOOOOOOO!! ::Unable to move::

Director (Formerly Admin Asst/Intern): ::Moves his arms around and the building begins to shake:: Time to make things normal again

::The Comic characters disappear and the original D3/Demiurge team appear::

Director: What happened? I have a huge headache

Developer 2: I’m not sure. The last thing I remember was working on plans for Anniversary II and I was about to enable triple iso

CFO: Whoa! Look at the date! It is 2018.. we’re on our 5th year with this game. Why can’t we remember anything?

Developer 1: Sir! I’m looking at the coding.. you wouldn’t believe how much the game has changed.

Marketing: My goodness! Look at all these new characters.. yet we have about the same amount of PVE events. Lightning Rounds hasn’t even been updated!

Analyst 2: The statistics are even worse! Look at the amount of time players spend playing our game. 6 PVE clears, PVP loss points still exist. How could we have done this to people?

Controller: What the heck is CP? Why did it replace HP to buy covers directly?

Analyst 1: And look at how many players sold covers because the system still does not allow the player to use the 6th cover for another ability that isn’t full

Developer 1: How could this be? We were working on coding the system to prevent this flaw!

Director: ::Scratches his head:: Team.. I do not know what has happened nor do I know why we made these decisions, but we must start working on a way to fix this mess. I can only imagine how the players feel about the game today
