    There was a second bracket in Platinum.

    Someone on Slack who didn't even own Tezz 2 joined at the end of the event and won Rishkar's Expertise.

    Actually, now that I think about it, I think I know another person who did this real late join snipe.

    If you're good and in for the reward at 265 (of which superklopp was first to post that score), then I'm definitely safe being the first to post 266 @ 05:19 EST.

    I didn't know about the screenshot thing either. I hope I did it correctly by using links.

    Regarding this catastrophe, it looks like there's two options: No one gets it (and the entire player base revolts) and the event is rerun OR every player to post 1 loss or better (score of 266+) receives the reward and the event is possibly rerun correctly next weekend. Otherwise, these devs will need to sort out final scoring per every account to the precise time each player posted his/her final score. I, and I think I would be speaking for the majority here, do not have much faith in the devs piecing together this puzzle of final score timing. Too many players; too many accounts; too many variables. Plus, they're busy with broken coalition rewards...still.

    No, sir. I finished first of the 266 group, but was scored last among them. Think I scored 4 positions better than you? There were a plethora of others positioned ahead of me at 266.

    That might be a solution, except it still screws over people who would have gotten in at lower scores, or whose scores were ruined by what support calls "known issues".

    I think a better solution, if they wanted to hand out more copies, was to simply extend it by one bracket (so 51-100 in plat and 26-50 in gold also gets it, for example) or to simply say that anyone matching the lowest score that was awarded a Rishkar's expertise would get it. I don't know in Plat, but in gold the 259 score reached from above rank 25 all the way down to around rank 50, maybe even past it.

    No, sir. I finished first of the 266 group, but was scored last among them. Think I scored 4 positions better than you? NickBKK was right behind me with Spadpl and superklopp. ShadowFlame, JackGunner, Nezumi, Arcannus, were among the plethora of those positioned ahead of me at 266.

    So, I have no right to claim the reward, but I'm glad I did my post, as it may have helped you. I can send you the screenshots, should them be of any use for you!

    From what I saw in my platinum bracket, 265 wasn't good enough - finished in the mid-60s and higher. My bracket needed 1 loss or better, which is obviously an issue given it's a matter of who posted first, the large number of players scoring 266, and the leaderboard bug has no logic to it.

    Thank you. Should I need further evidence, I might take you up on this offer. I'm sorry you seemingly missed by a single point. Not very hopeful, but maybe it does get rerun.

    When it comes to the screenshots, the issue has more to do with displaying other player's in-game names, rather than the usage of a screenshot itself. You are perfectly allowed to use screenshots if it does not reveal anyone's name.


    As a general comment to everyone, the development team has been investigating and working on some changes to Matchmaking that should help alleviate current player concerns, and that includes leaderboard rankings.(Although I currently don't have any information on how rankings will be addressed in the future)

    Are there any plans to address how that messed up this event?

    I have one better - I finished 50th in platinum and DIDN'T get Rishar's Expertise.  My position dropped like others but my final rank at the end of the event was 50 but I got the 51-100 rewards .....

    Terribly sorry. I remember falling to 50th and my positioning was scored 51-100 for whatever reason. Pre-update, it counted our rank a position ahead (+1) in the events screen, now post-update, it's scoring us a position behind our rank (-1). Good God, each update comes with more bugs than the previous version.

    A vital information on page 5 of a thread..maybe it'd make sence to pin an announcement at the top of the forum with answers regarding current questions ( like this one ) - the same way you're doing in the bug forum? 
    I'd love that feature.

    Also: the Matchmaking directly impacts/will directly impact the leaderboard rankings? Did I misunderstood that one?

    While not speaking for myself (I finished a glorious 592nd), I'm thinking the anticipation of positive future changes to matchmaking and ranking won't do much to alleviate players' current concerns, in particular with respect to this event.

    I wanted to chime in on this thread that I also got 266. I was with @PhoenixRisen in being in the top 50. Then I saw him get bumped out. Then I have no idea what happened to me. I was 46th when a few minutes left, assume I maybe got to 50 before the event ended, bu ended up with a blank rewards screen and did not get the mythic.

    I have to agree with him on this one. Based on how the event went down with tie breaks, the best approach for compensation is that everyone that scored 266+ should receive the mythic. It's clear there were more than 50 people with that score, but I don't see another fair way to fix this.

    Just a quick note to inform @Brigby that the same problem is happening in other events as well.

    In Emergency Ordinance I was the first to post a 146 points score. I've checked now and I'm last of the group... I'm 42nd right but there is a lot of people before me at 146...  :/

    Sorry to bother you again, with a low score and worse rewards by respect to Rishkar's Expertise... but every reward counts!  :)
