Leader board positions changing

@Gideon we were checking the score for @ridfrenzy -- it was still falling.0
-
This makes no sense. Maybe no one in a coalition can check the score without affecting everyone on the team.0
-
Or they're just randomly placing people with ties. Which is a bunch of tinykitty.0
-
So it isn't just affecting me anyway, both me and summonghost were being pushed down. Also after the last round I was 5th again and summonghost jumped straight into second place pushing four others down.0
-
Maybe it's just the final word in changing game to Pay2Win so the placement is based on the $ you used?1
-
This is ridiculous, my theory is that could be caused by whoever entered the event first/last.1
-
It'll be fascinating to see how they handle the people pushed out of the top X by this bug and miss out on an exclusive card.
History tells us that they'll get nothing but a few standard responses from customer support. Will history repeat itself?

Just finished my games, came in at 14th, above a bunch of other perfect scores.
@ridfrenzy You're at 13th. I guess that makes you one better than me

Sorry gents. Didn't see this post, so I started another. Same thing happened to me. Even with a freeze lose I was sure I could still maintain top 50 for the exclusive. Was 37th with four above me with the same score. Now I'm 51st with at least seven above me with the same score. Why should I even be surprised that d3 is tinykittying me once again.0

Is it against the rules to bump things to the front page? Because this is important.

After watching top scores in my bracket in Gold it appears that those who are tied at perfect score (231) are in the exact same order as they were before the refresh at 210.
So if you're tied with someone now and he's ranked above you, if you both keep scoring perfectly (or score equally) he will always be placed above you.
Would like to know the reason. Really...0 -
Hi Everyone. Just to confirm that this is the issue everyone is currently discussing:
For Example: If you acquire 100 ribbons, placing you at Rank 10, someone who acquires the same score after you will bump you down to Rank 11 and they will take Rank 10?
Is that the issue everyone is experiencing?0 -

Understood. Thanks for the feedback! I've passed all of this information along to the developers, so they can investigate and determine what is going on.1

A genuinely useful fix would be to consider all identical scores as a tie for the first position at that level.
For instance 7 players score as follows:
1. 25
2. 24
3. 24
4. 23
5. 23
6. 23
7. 22
The corrected ranking would therefore be:
1. 25
T2. 24
T2. 24
T4. 23
T4. 23
T4. 23
7. 22
It's been said many times but a race to the finish is a disadvantage based on time zones and a random placement would suck even more. It would cost you nothing in material terms to extend each prize bracket down a little. In the example above 3 players would earn prizes awarded for a top 2 finish. 3 additional players then earn top 5 prizes and so forth.
This means that players in 3rd and 6th in the above example, assuming such prize tiers are in place would no longer lose out.
I know this is a repeat suggestion but making it as clear as possible to help you discuss with the devs.3 -

Seems this might be relevant to post here as some may not have seen this update.0 -
When I finished my last round, I was 10th. Second to post my score. Now, I'm sitting last among those with my score in 50th, right on the cusp. My ranking position states 51-100 (bottom righthand corner). I have a screenshot of my ranking/positioning, as I will when I post my final score. I will NOT be screwed out of this reward because of some leaderboard repositioning bug!
It is reversing the order because the first person to post my score had one more play and is undefeated. Therefore, I was first to post what is my score... and there I sit, last with my score now. Idk what this is or why it's backwards from how it's always been, but I repeat, I will have my hard fought reward.

This is the issue in action, @Brigby.
I got to first with a perfect score straight after the second last recharge of nodes:
A number of hours later, before the next recharge, I got pushed to 6th:
The only conclusion is that speed no longer breaks ties, as it has always done. I would also like to point out that there has been announcement from your end about any changes to tie breaking, so this will be an unfair situation if I should miss out on top 5 (if we top 6 players all get perfect in the final recharge.)

@Brigby
Top 5 as they finished in my bracket (who posted perfect score first):
1. spanargoman
2. summonghost
3. koolmind
4. sjechua
5. PhaseDive
Except, the 1st place scorer currently sits 15th and the 3rd place scorer sits 11th, while summonghost only falls to third. There's no rhyme or reason to this positioning flaw.
The two users: spanargoman and koolmimd, who will be stripped of their top 5 rewards need to be compensated for such. While users solmyr (sitting 2nd), j23flo (sitting 9th), JJMeadows (sitting 8th), Dragoon (sitting 5th), Hesturk (sitting 12th), Adman149 (sitting 13th), efhktddyjkb (sitting 14th), Nekotoconeko (sitting 7th), Fredel (sitting 3rd), and drewski (sitting 5th) who finished 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, & 15th respectively need to be rewarded as placing 6-25th place as rightfully so. I'm watching it all unfold.
As far as myself, I was first to post 1 loss points (266) and I'm watching myself get bumped down by every user posting 266 after me. xZaann, KhalBrago, NDZahmbie, ShadowFlame, JackGunner, Arcannus, and Nezumi (who finished @ 08:47 EST, should be rank 50... but sits 45th, 5 places ahead of me when I finished @ 05:19 EST!) all finished after me. I'll say it again, I want my Rishkar's Expertise!!6
