    I theorise that you should stop theorising :P

    It is clearly based on some data that is hidden, D3 has access to that and it really shouldn't take long for them (I know I said it :P ) to work out what the issue is.

    Your theory is wrong anyway as it is affecting perfect scores which have no losses ;)

    perfect scores would depend on who you win your
    perfect scores against.

    For all we know it could be ordered by the last date you got a Mythic on descending :smiley:

    You try to beat Dubious Pig at level 12! Not happening. Saw 4 of them - suspect it was her only creature. The rest were gem conversion and Brain in a Jar to fuel it all quicker.

    Reiterating the fact that I am the player to post the score 266 first. If any 266's make the top 50, I get my Expertise. Arcannus was second to post the score 266; Nezumi was last to post 266 at current.

    I'm in Gold.  I displaced someone who also finished perfect from the top spot after I finished after them.

    I kinda think it's in terms of event joining.  When I joined my bracket I was rank 51 at 0 points (presumably the 51st joiner?).  I displaced the same guy also last night similarly.

    I didn't say it was an easy battle. just that you got
    unlucky cos the loss against a level 13 pw could
    possibly be what is affecting your rankings.

    I joined the event 16 hours after the beginning hoping to fall in a second bracket with less people. And last time I checked, I was the last with a perfect score so it could definitely be the time you joined the event which matters.


    Btw are all platinium players in the same bracket ? Are we less than 3000 platinium players now ?

    Seems like we might have a good case for this hypothesis.

    Also, at least from what the forums indicated, there was a large exodus of top players after the 1.10.2 patch. So I wouldn't be too surprised about us Platinum players now numbering below 3,000.

    There is a second bracket. Low count though so we are at least 3000 in number.

    I played with three Level 60 Planeswalkers.

    Tezz2, Dovin, and Saheeli.

    They are high powered.

    As I feared I got placed below all but one player tied at 272.

    Currently 30th.

    thanks ridfrenzy, phoenixrisen and duskpaladin for taking
    the time to satisfy my curiosity.

    my initial thoughts was why would ridfrenzy maintain an
    advantage when duskpaladin scored the same ribbons.
    yet phoenixrisen kept on dropping ranks as newer
    scores came in that matched.

    I woke up to clear and was first to get my score. Now I'm down there in my score group. Yesterday I was placed third to last in my score group -- Sunday I was close to the top again (all of this is right when I finished my games). There's no rhyme or reason that any of it.

    this happen to me
    i am 2nd of 265 at 5:43 before end

    and at 00:53 before end & i become bottom of 265

    please advise how i ended with this

    We had a member get 50th place in platinum... and just didn't get the reward... got a rare instead =/

    Jup, had one member from the bracket that got the nodes done after I did them, ended up with same score, he got Rishkar's, I placed at least 18 spots behind him, even though I was first there between the two of us, and one of the first in the entire bracket to reach that score....great....

    Same thing for one teammate who placed 25th in Gold

    Same here... 28 minutes after the refreshing of the nodes I completed my games and I was 4th among those at 265 points (just before @madwren)...

    Then, just a minute after, I dropped 1 position because NickBKK got added at the top position among 265ers.
    Incidentally, @madwren lost 2 positions in the meanwhile because Ironer was inserted between us...

    Now... I ended up 67th... I cannot be sure, but I think I could easily be in the top 50 if my 4th position among 265ers were conserved!
     @Brigby , should I open a ticket for this (as I have also the screenshots as a proof), or is there some sort of answer from d3 to all the people that are in the same condition?

    This is something I've passed along to the developers already. I'm waiting for their response as to whether they have any insight into this occurrence.
