In Emergency Ordinance I was the first to post a 146 points score. I've checked now and I'm last of the group... I'm 42nd right but there is a lot of people before me at 146...
Sorry to bother you again, with a low score and worse rewards by respect to Rishkar's Expertise... but every reward counts!
Thank you and bye,
Greistal
Just ended up 58th...

Nezumi said:I wanted to chime in on this thread that I also got 266. I was with @PhoenixRisen in being in the top 50. Then I saw him get bumped out. Then I have no idea what happened to me. I was 46th when a few minutes left, assume I maybe got to 50 before the event ended, bu ended up with a blank rewards screen and did not get the mythic.
I have to agree with him on this one. Based on how the event went down with tie breaks, the best approach for compensation is that everyone that scored 266+ should receive the mythic. It's clear there were more than 50 people with that score, but I don't see another fair way to fix this.1 -
Any updates regarding this and coalition rewards? Support has failed to say anything regarding Rishkar's, while they have notified that the missing coalition rewards are under investigation. @Brigby @Hibernum_JC @LakeStone0

It seems this issue persists....In the current event I was the first to reach my current score, now sitting as the 4th person amongst those scores, so first come first serve is clearly gone for good.
Btw, since we are discussing whether it now measures based on when the event as a whole is joined: I joined the moment it began.0 -
Hi Everyone. I've posted an announcement regarding the Coalition Rewards issue. Long story short, the development team is compiling the information of all affected individuals, and crediting them with their appropriate rewards. Please keep in mind that this takes time, so please be patient as these rewards are credited later in the week.
When it comes to Leaderboard Ranks, the development team has identified the issue and is currently working on a fix for it, which will be rolled out in an upcoming hotfix.0 -
You know that's literally every player in the game right @Brigby? Honestly there are so many other ways to credit people quicker, but I suppose you don't want people getting more than 100 crystals a week for free do ya?1

A previous inquiry regarding a progression reward, albeit slightly different, that I would've received barring being completely locked out of an Avacyn's Madness event was met with lacklustre response. Support cannot compensate for what would have been won (keep in mind tinykitty barred me from playing a single match). Now, they could certainly claim that in this situation as well... but a) I was able to play, b) I finished all my nodes, c) I pointed high enough to obtain the award and was first to do so, and d) the bug was no fault of mine own, and if this change were intentional, no proper communication was made available to the player base in the update notes. Do you understand the full scale of the dilemma here? Is support really going to check that many player accounts (2 platinum brackets alone) and correctly, appropriately rank them by time of event completion? Or will they hotfix solely for future events, and say, "Go get 'em next time!"?*** Though, there is no next time. This event had an exclusive mythic reward and such a broken exclusive at that.
***Keep in mind they have 2 coalition events to address and correctly reward all players on their plate to boot.
Thank you in advance for your response and for all responses up until this point. You're doing as finea job as I imagine you can in addressing these things for us more "hardcore" players. Bravo!1 -

@Brigby so what does determine who gets bumped? I'm also perfect in my pool. I was 3rd and now Ohboy is in first and I'm 15th. He wasn't even in the top 10 when I was at my last refresh0

@Brigby : two friendly tips:1) Stop running PvP events until this has been fixed, else the devs will be way head under all the reclamations they need to do.
2) As I and several other players suggested a long time ago, provided EVERY player with the SAME score the SAME rewards. This solves the tiebreaking issues and would have prevented this mess.
I was ranked 2nd after playing my last **** node with a perfect score with one player above me and two below me with the same score. Seems totally random. Now I'm ranked 15th or so. Just saying...

My stance was a removal of unlimited mythics long ago so that we didn't have to face such severe consequences.
The game gave out too much to a select handful(yes, me too) and now it's correcting in the most painful way.
Yeah I support it, only in the sense of "I support it because we deserve it, and it's really the only logical path left to take".
What... You think I don't want free mythics if there wasn't a price to pay? Lol.

Just so y'all know, I get a notification that you're talking about me for each and every post in which you quote that tag

What... You think I don't want free mythics if there wasn't a price to pay? Lol.This is exactly why I used you as the example in my cheeky post about D3 screwing up event rankings. You might not love it but you support their austerity package.
I side with the group that says that are dozens of ways to accomplish the goals of making the game more accessible to newer players including but not limited to:
1. Balance the cards so that mythics aren't so powerful relative to rares. (Specifically certain cards)
2. Structure the "tiers" in such a way that ranks players and pairs them against those with similar levels of success in events. Meaning you and I would play each other (yes, for more mythics), but we wouldn't be paired against someone with 10 mythics who just pinged into platinum due to arbitrary color mastery.(that guy can win his own mythic in his own bracket).
3. Provide catch up programs to newer players to give them a higher chance to actually get mythic cards. (Rather than deflate the currency and reduce their chances of doing so).
I would go on, but I am realizing I'm a bit off topic and this might get removed. My point is... If the game doesn't have an incentive strong enough to cause me to try my best to win, I will quickly lose interest and find another game. There are plenty of ways to make the game more fair and accessible without destroying the incentive to compete.

Dude, I don't. As long as players are screwed over this nonsense, there will be unhappy players. And the only way to express the unhappiness and try to reach something is to voice your feelings. And right now I am very unhappy by being screwed twice with this system back to back (BP and ****).0
