As opposed to cards that just say "Deal X damage to _______," such as Chandra's Fury:

That's kind of right, I saw it the other way around - the pummeled eats the energy away to use these supports properly.Matthew said:But a lot of them also include cards like Gonti's Heart or Dynavolt. Those cards should help to keep the board flooded enough for Pummeler to still stay nasty.Laeuftbeidir said:I have to add: you can filter the decks for custom decks only..just figured it out
Edit:
Something different:
A lot of expert decks include the plummerer...since the nerfing bat hit him hard, he actually is contraproductive to them
I hope and pray that this isn't the case. @BrigbyElimGarak said:@Brigby
I just noticed a change in matchmaking in training grounds. My lvl6 "trainee" got paired against a lvl60. Since the 5-level-rule cannot be changed by accident I would like to know what events are subject to that change. Breaking Points?

Being honest. The quick battle reward system was a far superior way of amassing runes especially if you didn't mind grinding. The return for time spent could amount to a considerable uplift in runes allowing for upgrading your planeswalkers in a timely manner. Not to mention that a reward for your time spent grinding also potentially provided a card of a guaranteed level (uncommon/rare/mythic) and an increasing level of crystals to reward you for the time you spent playing the game - something i would have thought the company would want. Ie us playing their game rather than finding a different one to play which, dare I say, may be better...there I said it!
to try and convince us thagvthis change is better for new players is quite frankly insulting. Just accept that you have nerfed the game.
And for whag benefit. Certainly not for the players. Neither the new or the experienced players benefit from this change so please stop trying to convince us otherwise
thats true, if you're new player you are pretty much screwed which is good for old players I suppouse, in that sense D3 is looking after ustoastie said:I was actually excited for this update until I got the chance to play with it. Broken matchmaking and the loss of rune income from QB has put a damper on my eagerness to play. It doesn't help that we lost rares from QB either come to think of it. Now I have no way to get older since they aren't in any event rewards now.losdamianos said:thats true, if you're new player you are pretty much screwed which is good for old players I suppouse, in that sense D3 is looking after ustoastie said:I was actually excited for this update until I got the chance to play with it. Hmm that's rather peculiar that you're seeing such a drastically higher level Matchmaking opponent. I'll bring up this topic with the developers so they can investigate further.Thank you @Brigby
