Edit:
Something different:
A lot of expert decks include the plummerer...since the nerfing bat hit him hard, he actually is contraproductive to them
And in the end it's just a minor thing that doesn't effect the game at all

Wait... so not getting shot by chandras 1st or 3rd while i had sigarda on the filed was a bug? I thought it was working as intended?
Will you come forward @Hibernum_JC once and for all and tell us what is sigarda supposed to do..... What does it mean that you gain hexproof?2 -
@khurram
I just spoke with JC, and he says that Hexproof makes the target (in Sigarda's case, Humans and your Planeswalker) impossible to target whenever a spell or ability makes you choose a target, as opposed to when a spell or ability chooses it for you. (Basically it follows the same Hexproof rules as paper MTG.)
An example of an ability that would be blocked by Hexproof would be Furious Reprisal:
As opposed to cards that just say "Deal X damage to _______," such as Chandra's Fury:1 -
I've just noticed a very positive undocumented change in this update - Trial of the Planes events now have just 2 instead of 3 charges on each node. So it's 8 matches instead of 12. A huge difference.
As I've posted before, TIME matters, and too many events take too much time. This is a very good change, thank you for that.0 -
But are the rewards still the same?0
-
@Yawgmoth So it takes 8 matches to get all progression rewards instead of 12?0
-
Quite a few positive changes here.
+ Faster planeswalker scrolling when choosing decks to play in events (this is a the A-lister change, thank you so much)
+ Faster animation with Fabricate
+ Extra deck slots (having to unlock them is still a tad irritating for me, but hey, it's still an option, so that's good nevertheless)
But I'm kinda worried about the 15 crystals per day from the so-called Training Grounds though. Generosity is fine, but I dunno.... among other things, this being daily occurrence instead of once every 2-3 days like the old Quick Battle feels rather pushy, but maybe I'm complaining too much, don't mind me on this one XD
As for Trials needing only 8 matches to get full progression instead of 12... meh, I don't quite care; it's still "you have to win everything" kind of deal, which I still don't like anyway. But eh, I guess you ARE pushing the use of mana jewels....0 -
It looks like we now only have to tap on a support once to see what it is?
Thank god, having to tap multiple times before to make it work really got on my nerves!
One tiny little thing, tho: after I tap on the support to make it appear, could I please be allowed to tap anywhere on the screen to make is disappear again, so I can in fact tap on the support itself again without moving my finger, rather than just the centre? Little things like this make a difference; my RSI is a very real thing, and they all add up!

I just noticed a change in matchmaking in training grounds. My lvl6 "trainee" got paired against a lvl60. Since the 5-level-rule cannot be changed by accident I would like to know what events are subject to that change. Breaking Points?0 -

I mentioned this elsewhere, but my fear is that the new "can only face decks entered into the events" drastically reduces the number of available low level opponents for you to face.
Previously, it could grab a level 1 from anyone's bench.

Being honest. The quick battle reward system was a far superior way of amassing runes especially if you didn't mind grinding. The return for time spent could amount to a considerable uplift in runes allowing for upgrading your planeswalkers in a timely manner. Not to mention that a reward for your time spent grinding also potentially provided a card of a guaranteed level (uncommon/rare/mythic) and an increasing level of crystals to reward you for the time you spent playing the game - something i would have thought the company would want. Ie us playing their game rather than finding a different one to play which, dare I say, may be better...there I said it!
to try and convince us thagvthis change is better for new players is quite frankly insulting. Just accept that you have nerfed the game.
And for whag benefit. Certainly not for the players. Neither the new or the experienced players benefit from this change so please stop trying to convince us otherwise

I was actually excited for this update until I got the chance to play with it. Broken matchmaking and the loss of rune income from QB has put a damper on my eagerness to play. It just feels like a have a colossal hill to climb to catch up now, where as before I felt like I was making real progress.0

@ElimGarak @Gunmix25
Hmm that's rather peculiar that you're seeing such a drastically higher level Matchmaking opponent. I'll bring up this topic with the developers so they can investigate further.1 -

@Brigby
I have to say despite some hiccups the 2.0 changes have been great. I really appreciate the ability to set event decks.
Now what we really need is that new duplicate conversion system. Or at least confirmation that existing dupes will be able to be converted. Otherwise why would we want to spend on new packs now? We're much better off waiting until all those dupes we'd get are actually good for something.
I really hope the new dupe conversion system isn't far off and that it gives a fair return, it's what the game really needs right now.
