MPQ needs to move to NFTs

The dev team doesn't read or post to this forum and hasn't for 4 or 5 years.
If you want to ask them to do... whatever it is you're asking for, try putting in a ticket through the game? That's about the only way they might see it.0 -
You just can suggest it here and perhaps devs could do it if they think it's a good idea.
Also there is the fact that when a number of users are against the post(like happened here) then they never do it, as the forum is a good sample of how the whole players data would think about the theme.0 -

Just to clarify, I report directly to the Forum Administrators regarding matters related to the maintenance of the Forum and the Forum community in general. I have no more say in what gets passed on to the dev team than regular forum users.
The Forum Administrators read the Forums and pass on whatever they believe is relevant to the dev team. I am not privy to such matters.3 -
Thanks for the input. I hope this never gets passed on.1

That is your opinion but I'm talking a game ecosystem where the developer and consumer have a win-win situation. I hope the devs take this on board and ask us consumers for ideas.
Companies are building a metaverse around their NFTs. MPQ devs can throw in the NFT element and enhance the game experience. Facebook is working on their metaverse. Other corporations are working into this.0 -
Even if Marvel wants to do game NFT, they probably start with MCOC first. Their revenue is many times higher than MPQ. 2 months of their revenue is equivalent to one year of MPQ revenue. You might want to try your luck there?0
-
What is MCOC?0
-
I've not invested any time on MCOC. I've played MPQ since like 2014. Hence my suggestions are for MPQ only.
My suggestion is for MOQ to give us a comic option for someone who has maxed and champed his character. This character would be tradeable.

It's not for MPQ to decide. It's for Marvel/Disney to decide because those IPs belong to them, not MPQ. Besides, MPQ is runned by game company and they don't specialise in blockchain or whatever technologies related to NFTs. They have to set up another department for this. Since the devs are also owned by listed company, they have to get permission and approval from their parent company. It's not as simple as the dev saying "let's do NFTs" and make it happen in a month's time.
Even though you played MPQ since 2014, but you have only 5 non-max champed 4*. And you keep pushing for NFT in MPQ so that everyone can make money. It looks like you are going to dump MPQ after you are done selling your 4*. That's my hunch.

Yes I'll dump MPQ by selling 4 4* champs who are on average lvl 275, 272, 271, 270 and 270. Lmao.
My proposition is that 4* character can be given that readable comic status and/or NFT status once it reaches level 370. I can't comment on 5* characters as I have maxed any characters yet.
In all fairness I wouldn't mind buying a 5* character if there is a marketplace.0 -
And what about taking the effort to do it in game, like thousands of players have been doing it?
Buying 5* characters in marketplace would make for a total whales game.
And comics can be read in Marvel insider, if you live in US.0 -

I think the closest we have come to NFT's in this game are the costumes. Some of them cost money, they're somewhat nice to look at, but actually don't have any value beyond that.1

If you're serious about this you need to contact D3 or Demiurge directly. Try their websites or put in an in-game ticket. This is not the right place to do what you're trying to do.0 -

Or, imagine a limited edition 'Iron Man' cover/character where there are only 1000 versions.
It would take MPQ to the next level.
I'm waiting D3Go!
I imagine a world where you CAN'T sell your account to other players.
Oh wait, TOS says that can't be done, so I'm sure it never ever is.

NFTs are wildly embarrassing. I've been with MPQ since the start, and in the unlikely event that the game incorporated them I'd abandon it out of sheer repulsion.0
-
The only thing I can think of in favor of anything that resembles a NFT is some type of fan appreciation thing if the game fizzles out and comes to an end years down the road. Providing players with some type of digital artwork of characters from their roster could be a nice parting gift. Often games come to an end causing players to lose everything they've worked hard to collect. These digital copies could potentially be NFTs, but probably don't have to be.0

Exactly. The pics could be looked at, and shown off as much as you like. The point of the NFT is to provide value to the thing by preventing copying and providing the opportunity to sell it. Unless I'm overlooking something, I don't see it working well in this case.
As I think about it, there is potential for the provision of MPQ NFTs, but it would likely be completely separate from the game. Of course, this means that the whole argument is moot. If it's not connected to the game, then it doesn't matter.0
