I may be crazy, but I think he was joking.

Yeah...lol...I think so too. But figured what the hell.

True! Might as well read while we wait for our events to come back...

I wasn't. I'm not much of a gamer, so I'm unaware of some obvious stuff. Like - I learned what is (and played for the first time) MMORPG like about a year ago.

I was hoping to get a few matches in before work today...doesn't look like that will be happening. Bummer.

It's kind of amazing how hard they continue to fail.

    I revise my statement:

It's kind of amazing that we suckers keep playing their game.

Oh! Heh. Well, the Target story isn't a gaming story, it's more of a general commerce and internet security story.

Do you think that D3 and MPQ are not related to commerce and Internet security?
  • Oh man, the server was fine some hours ago when I was working, and now I'm home and want to push, I'm screwed icon_e_sad.gif

If somehow I finish this event with only my score of 500, I demand a free Betsy of all colors icon_e_biggrin.gif (wishes be wishes)

I can imagine why anyone would attack d3, they aren't the best company anyway icon_e_biggrin.gif probably someone who got tinikittied by level 395 goon icon_e_biggrin.gif

Sure, but that wasn't my point. He had said he didn't know the story because he wasn't much of a gamer.

Remember, Emeryt lives in Poland and Target doesn't exist outside North America, so it probably wouldn't have been covered much there.
  • I can always tell when the servers are down, there are 200+ people on the forums.

well...you may be onto something. Disgruntled players wreaking havoc on the D3 servers as they've banded together in protest of the number 395. Lol

Wish they had an alert/push message to tell me when their Comm Link is no longer disrupted so I don't have to keep starring at this stupid spinning circle.

haha! That's right! Sorry emeryt, I was thinking most would be familiar with that incident, wasn't thinking of those out of the country, etc.

I grinned and bore it throughout season 1 but with all the dumb **** and ESPECIALLY with the crashes at the end of the last four tournaments, I'm not going to last to season 3 if there isn't either some major fixes, player compensation, or both. My alliance chat is more fun than the game at this point.

I just figured the forums hit their own Mayhem Meter and either someone took out the d3 server with a baseball bat or they crashed from all the ragequit posts.

That is so unbelievably possible.... only little tinykitty really knows the answer at this point.

same for me. bye-bye all events. not holding out much hope for my final placement considering i'd JUST started my push from 500.

I guess joke's on me too. Been busy with work and RL so have had to join late and my 600 pts will require some mass grind during a looonnggggg bathroom break at work.
