    The game costs nothing to download and play. No part of the game is locked to players that do not pay. But the devs are not generous enough.
    Some of us do pay, the free to play people have us to thank, not the devs, for that being an option.

    It costs absolutely nothing to make this “celebration” something to be excited about. 

    Edit: To be completely honest, I’d be happy if the game did cost money, VIP was required, and the return on investment for players who pay was a bit more worthwhile.

    They could have a separate version sponsored by their generosity and see how far that goes.
    So you want an upfront cost and a monthly subscription to be required to play? It would be interesting to see how populated the game would be in that state.

    I do agree that anniversary should be more generous than normal times. Like maybe a free item or an increase in rewards while playing. Or maybe a 100 item vault with 16 4*'s instead of the usual 4 from an 80 item vault that stays open longer with more events granting tokens to it so you have higher chances of getting the more valuable prizes from it.

    Places of Power was probably the most generous thing they've done as long as you had a good alliance.  LTs every day!

    Also, getting 5's directly from completing the first run of Civil War was quite nice.......  I didn't get any since my alliance wasn't very good, but that idea is nice.  And probably worth revisiting.

    I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that Lightning Rounds have double iso properly set on them this time round. It seems like the last few times it was due to be turned on somebody has forgotten to flick the right switch (or feed the right set of hamsters).

    And I misstated the vault contents. Its 19 guaranteed 4*'s with 3 of them having a chance at being 5's.

    Yeah, at the price of $250-$300 (or equivalent Hp) you can get that. 

    Or, you could spend the same on the limited store and likely get more 4’s and up to six chances at 5s. Not to mention they won’t be “limited” aka mostly useless characters. 

    I know you are trying to make a point about generosity, but it just doesn’t compute here...sorry.

    This is a marketing opportunity and not even a particularly good one.

    Crash of the Mad Titan was up there too. Five tokens for Thano5' release store, if I remember right, provided you could win the fights.

    It's still closer to one in 5 odds for a 4* compared to the normal one in twenty on other vaults. I'm not sure how much more generosity you want, or think is reasonable.

    Congrats to the D3 team!  For the 1st time in 3 or 4 years double Iso has been correctly turned on for the LR events!!!!  This is a promising start to anniversary season, and a big surprise to how this is usually handled!!
    Keep up with the surprises!

    Is it? Seemed like the +30 Bonus ISO was doubled to 60, but the after-round rewards weren't.

    Yeah, there's just nothing that's good value to spend on. I mean, after hearing so much about anniversary offers, I'm a little disappointed. Pretty much gonna chill and use the HP/CP hoard conservatively. Not even gonna blow anything on the vault with the **** pulls.

    I probably would have bought the Medusa offer if they hadn't just phoned in the start of this "celebration" like they have done. I can not justify spending anymore on this game when the devs are just content to rest on their laurels.

    Similarly though, I just don’t want contribute to the bump in sales they are going to see from this anniversary.

    Maybe they are being stealthy and going to surprise us with something fun (like a good feeder), if so I’ll eat my words. Not holding my breath though.

    Yep, my Medusa situation is pretty similar. I like the costume and the 3 covers would put her at 350 when I need to level to 360 in order to champ my 5/5/2 Bolt. 

    Edit: And the best in class stuff annoys me to see the Taskmaster icons all over it and the final reward be yet another D. Dino cover.
