Yeah, this I think, is the first time my champed Daredevil is boosted and he’s making everything fun and easy. I don’t even use Okoye on most of the nodes.

After seeing quite a few board movers getting free AP (usable) from goons in Support Circuit and now even more in this PVE event I can't help but feel the devs need some new people assigning opponents for events.

It could just be me, but some of these opponents are some of the cheapest Health Pack absorbers yet. So if the set up was to get people to not want to play all nodes to 6/6 rewards you can call this a succes. I don't mind a challenge, but being guaranteed to eat some heavy hits because the AI get AP for nothing does not a (fun) challenge make... it would have been a better idea to just run a Gauntlet again, but ok... sure, whatever...

After having played through Sub 3 I would rate this event just above Fight for Wakanda so far, because at least it isn't just Dark Avengers with some new sub backgrounds.

I've enjoyed the new story event so far - new artwork, new dialogue, and a story that at least doesn't involve the Dark Avengers. I also appreciated being to fight some of the newer characters, due to that rascally ol' Devourer launching a successful "hearts and minds" campaign.
Now, I'm just playing for the 4* progression cover, so I am only beating those nasty Kitty pins once, and making up the points on some of the other pins. I imagine my opinion would be less rosy if I was trying to do 4x-6x clears.
Speaking of Kitty (when she's on my side), I was strangely delighted that an enemy Flame Jet going off activated Kitty's red power - getting three attack tiles a turn every time that team-up power went off was quite satisfying.

Yeah...my son found out (the hard way) that Medusa's Countdown tile also triggered Kitty's passive.  He'd never played against her before.  My Kitty only has one cover, so I couldn't really help that much.

Last sub was great again.   I truly hope they make more like this.

The only thing I don’t get, and D3/Demi, please help me out, since their are costumes in the game why would you not put them in the game as the AI characters?  Thor and Valkyrie are in the 5E but don’t have their new costumes.   Don’t you think this would be a great way to promote this?   I suggested the same thing for DP vs MPQ as well.  You could run these events with new costumes to show them and try to make them “ achievable” as well.

Didn't notice the wave thing until today on Guardian Forces. has it been like that since the start?

Yes. On every sub so far...

I'm in 3-star land and playing SCL seven as normal and haven't found it too bad, using a slightly wider variety of teams depending upon the opponents but it's not as bad Simulator or Deadpool vs MPQ as at least mpst of the modes have a goon so Strange is useful.
Might be struggling a bit more without Cage being boosted, I've been using him for a lot of nodes but not Kitty ones and he keeps the health pack usage manageable.
Enjoying the new story and the different match ups, I hope it will be more like simulator and maybe vary the opponents in future runs of the event to stop it getting stale the same may most of the traditional PVEs have.  Also liking the boss node and the extra event tokens from having the wave node.
I've quite liked this, well done Devs.

    things i like:
loaner nodes lock - awesome, hate grinding those. please keep for all pve events.
1-time boss node - always fun. please keep for all pve events.
new backgrounds - some of them have pretty nice art too.
new opponent variety - even if there aren't new goons, just using the mind control plot is a great way to avoid (yet again) dark avengers etc.
loaner 5* essential - i've missed this type of thing ever since they did the 5* debut with surfer and had a special one for it. great to give new 5*s (or even old ones you don't have) a test drive with full covers, even if they happen to be as bad as 5*cm. please keep for all pve events.

aside from that, the gritty+thing node was pretty nasty if you don't have a champed daredevil in scl9. but not all nodes should be easy, i'm fine with this.

also, i still wish that pve was really that, just progression and no placement, and no timers. pvp is already enough speed-based that it would be nice to have a mode of play that you can use to try out teams. for example, if i could take the time without losing placement, i'd love to try out different things on that gritty node... kraven? prowler? something else i haven't thought of?

overall, i like the investment in a new pve, as well as many of the choices made with it. thanks for that.

What's the point of promoting the costumes when they were only available to buy for 4 days and are now gone forever?
I agree with that and I would suggest that they bring them back while that event is going on or make them “achieveable” and not just with my ITunes password.

Nice event, enjoyed it a lot. Liked that there were actual enemy teams to PLAY against instead hapless HP pools to beat up. Loaner Carol and reveal (?) of Talos in last sub were a great idea. Thumbs up from me!

In general, I've enjoyed this. Well, other than that Kitty/Thing node.

Love the one and done nodes. Definitely want more of this! I'd be happy for every PVE to have one easy node removed and replaced with a one time boss battle.

One thing I really enjoyed, and it seems so small, is the essential nodes in order on the screen. They either went 2* to 5* down the page or 5* to 2* down the page. It made it so much easier not having to jump all over the place looking for the nodes.
I actually didn't struggle with Kitty/Thing as much as I thought I would at SCL8, can't comment on what it was like above that. I found that if you went after R4G's strikes straight away and made sure you had yellow to fire with C4rol's black, you could get shot of Thing and manage Kitty, targeting her next. I ran Black Panther and his yellow and blue left Kitty busy but any fortified tiles left were straight into Shuri's hands. The only fight I lost was when I deviated from the above pattern and fired Carol's black without yellow to immediately get rid of Thing.

I wonder, is this our new Gauntlet?

It definitely was for the 3* and lower players in my alliance: some of these nodes were just too hard to beat.

I always hated the Gauntlet because you couldn't complete all the nodes unless you had all required characters, so Galactic Chaos felt quite a lot like it.

Personally, I quite liked it, it made for a nice change from Dark Avengers, but I'm very aware that as a low-end 5* player, my experience will be very different from others.

Love that its much less of a grind, although that might be due to having a champed 5* Daredevil.
Feels weird that we got a trivial wave node and not a hard wave node too.
I like 5* Carols look in the story more than in the roster. Side view of the Mohawk is a little better

I only have two yellow covers for 5* Daredevil. It's making some of the 5* nodes...difficult.

I'm in CL9, and its much harder there. I cleared it 6 times, but the 7th I got a lot of strike tiles in the corners which were a huge problem to the point it killed Daredevil, Thor and Okoye. The node isn't such a problem if the strikes are largely in the middle of the board but even Thor's God of Thunder struggles with the ones in corners.

So having seen subs 3&4 now, I'd say the biggest issue is sub 2. It's just on an entire different difficulty level than the others (though that Gambit&Rogue node is no picnic if the repeater settles in somewhere).
