This is the same language as in PoP announcement which had differing points per difficulty. I couldn't see anything in that announcement that more specifically said Deadly awarded more points than Normal, other than the differing alliance point thresholds.
Given the flat alliance point thresholds in this event, I'm jumping to the conclusion each difficulty awards the same points. It would seem a bit crazy to think Deadly gave more points and needed less people than Easy to get the sub-chapter awards.
Would be nice if someone knew and could post...

I'm calling it to be ~14k daily individual sub-points (same for all difficulties). That puts you at 42k total over 3 days of full clears. Just past individual prog. Also means min 10 people per sub to get full Ally prog daily.
Hmm does look like the Holidays post says this is a 4 day event. Still see it being ~14k - that's what gets Ally prog at 10 people per sub. I really hope they allow you to get 2x subs done as a fully coordinated Ally.0 -

Parent Chapter
• Lists individual progression rewards.
• Contains six missions.
◦ One mission for each difficulty.
▪ Easy (Levels 50 - 150)
▪ Medium (Levels 90 - 185)
▪ Hard (Levels 180 - 300)
▪ Deadly (Levels 250 - 450)
◦ New missions are available for each difficulty each day.
◦ Join a location's Sub-Chapter by completing its mission.
▪ All other locations are then locked.
▪ All locations unlock at the beginning of each day.
▪ Each player can choose a different location.
• Each location lists how many player are defending that location and how many points have been contributed to the location's score.Six mission, one for each of 4 difficulties? And the pictures shows 5 nodes, 4 colored and Goblin pumpkin.
Trying to confuse me here, or am i just missing something?

From the outside, here's what the nodes look like to me. There will be a one-time node each day on the parent node (think of Strange Sights). Then you play the subchapter/difficulty you chose and when you get through the nodes, you go back to the parent chapter and find a closing node you play once. Remember: There's actually a story with dialog this time.
So 2 one time nodes (open and close) and 4 subchapter nodes.3 -

The information about the length of the even is in the "MPQ Sneak Peek: December 2018 Edition" Thread.
It says it's a 4-Day event.Well would you look at that! I was looking for dates and went digging elsewhere. Also going on prior events, alliance ones mostly being 3.5 days. Throws a wrench in the math for sure.
4 days to 37k personal is 9.25k per day, usually doing 4 clears gets you past individual prog, so possibly 11-12k per day personal to get 44-48k event. That means needing 12 or 11 people to get max rewards in a sub - so leaning towards each ally only full clearing 1 sub and partially doing another. Merry Christmas!

Six missions is correct, however I apologize for not including the 2 additional unlisted missions. Here is the full list:
- Prologue Mission
- Easy (Levels 50 - 150)
- Medium (Levels 90 - 185)
- Hard (Levels 180 - 300)
- Deadly (Levels 250 - 450)
- Epilogue Mission

Do the different difficulties award different amounts of points?
If so, how many points are possible per player in each difficulty?
Can we please get a sticky/message of the day feature for Alliance Leaders trying to disseminate info to members, if events requiring coordination are expected to continue?

I guess this also means we can lock in, without picking a difficulty level? Thats great!0 -
The best thing I will get this holiday season is this event and four days to play at my own pace.
Thank you, sincerely.1 -

I Think Points will be static, they were in Places of Power. Each location was Worth the same amount of Points each cycle - Kamar-Taj (as an example) was Always Worth the same amount no matter what difficulty level it was set at that day. It wasn't Worth the same amount of Points as Sokovia but the whichever was Worth more was Always Worth more.0 -

But it could be 600 enemies total if you get all the possible points.0 -
So, there's nothing in game to let you know which portal is deadly, etc. We have to look at forums to know which one is deadly? Wow...2

Oh Demiurge why do you treat us this way? You take the Places of Power template, but nerf the rewards and increase the players needed to get them9
