Also since there is no first completion bonus anymore, you can just skip any nodes you dont want to do, like devil dino being fed. That is what I did.0

On top of that, the 3rd color cover is top 50, so literally doing each node once, while ignoring the bottom path, and replaying 3 diff nodes once at or near the end of the sub, has been enough for top 20-30.
The low branch is worth nothing point wise with bad rewards and a more difficult 3rd lvl than any other. Why bother wasting time on those first 2 nodes of the lower...I mean really.
It's sad/funny as I have nemek, theladder and some others in mine but we all are clearly doing roughly the same thing with clearly minimal effort. I mean, I've done maybe 35-40 matches total between the first 2 sets of 2 subs. Before that would be my # for one sub. I am fighting sub 100s mostly, so scaling isn't hitting me personally, but because its hitting others (and I don't see a point effort wise to push for top 2) only a few matches late is more than enough.0 -
I haven't done Essentials this sub at all and still am barely out of top 10. Guess many people are indeed hit with scaling even harder, to the point of not being able to compete.0

falcon is boosted chances too, which would be the one people are going for I assume since the next pvp is probably falcon0 -
I really like the Simulator event format. Being free from the character limitations imposed by the storyline, it has the most interesting match ups by far. And there is great variety because each sub can be completely different from the last.
I would love to play more in the simulator, trying out different combinations of characters. But enemies have scaled so high for me that I now only stand a chance if I use the C.Mag cheap tricks, or boost like crazy. I still get a sense of accomplishment from beating those high level enemies, I guess. But even that incentive to play is countered by the knowledge that if I win any more the enemies will be even worse next time, likely preventing me from getting future rewards.
There is fun to be had from playing a challenging game. And there is fun to be had from winning rewards. But it seems I have reached a point where I must choose only one type of fun and give up the other.0 -

Here's a question - and apologies if it's been asked before.
The second node along the main "path" (the team-up one) has the potential to give four rewards, but can only be played once. The fourth node, which only has one reward (the 1000/2000 ISO one), can be played multiple times.
This seems... wrong. I don't understand. Why program four rewards into a node that can only be played once?0 -

Because this way you get the thrill of getting a **** reward!
Jokes aside, in previous instances of the simulator that node was repeatable, but having a loaned overpowered character meant people would grind it to the ground.
The fourth node has the highest point value (if you don't have the Essential character for the round), so it's repeatable to let you progress in the rankings even after you gained the only reward.0 -

I've finished my second-to-last round of normal and haven't touched hard, and I've improved with normal from 32 to 25, and am sitting 11K behind the main leader, and 5K behind 10th place.
In addition to that, three people in my top 10 have decently leveled 3*, the rest is sitting on their maxed 2*.
I don't see scaling hitting anybody.
Yes, of course I'll end up in top 10 with two runs of hard plus my final normal, but I don't see people disappearing or stopping to play because they get locked out.0 -

The last fight on my hard node (the one with the 2k reward) is lvl 135. The odd part? The first node, normally used to enter a sub bracket, is 8 lvls higher. That means either ppl are getting stuck somewhere along the way, scaling IS affecting ppl completing the last 2 nodes of the main line, or ppl have just been playing the first node and waiting until later to play the last node....inferring ppl ARE NOT grinding nodes like they normally do.
On top of that, in hard, all of my side nodes (the ones worth all the points) are in the 70s. Not all of them have a required character...so all I can think is scaling is going hammer bros on dem nuts.0 -
The Daken event I will be grinding to hit all progression rewards and no amount of rubberbanding will catch me unless your in similar subs where the leader has hit optimal points on each refresh. Best way to secure first is still to grind but because the newbies grind the veterans rubberband it's to easy to play casual as the newbies will scale to a place they can't sustain grinding.0

Wasn't the rubberbanding tuned to the absolute top player? Did I get it wrong?0 -
Sometimes it's global but i think the last few events it has been subs0

So what's the strategy for Devil Dino essential node? First team almost got wiped, so I retreated and used health packs, then second team also nearly got wiped, had to retreat again. I swear I will throw the tablet in frustration.0
