  • these nodes for deadly are pretty hard, the devil dino getting fed green constantly by sniper just chomping the heck out of your team is terrifying

That's pretty much a 'bring Spiderman' mission, given there's only one character that can move the board on that node.

So if you don't have either of them up high enough (coveri-wise) and you don't have MNN's purple, then you're screwed, right?

Well, as long as your personal scaling isn't too ridiculous, boosted ares is pretty aces. Certainly more useful than any of the boosted 3*s

And who said that SHIELD coordinates their start times icon_lol.gif

  • I don't plan on playing the third set for another day at least, but the devil dino one looks like I may bring out good ol' modern widow. Lazyshield can tank blue for her, clear countdowns and she can stun dino man all day.

Yeah, I went with OBW, Thor, and Ragnarok. I was afraid Ares might give DD green and I needed to make sure the other two guys didn't do anything crazy either so I figured Call The Storm would work and it did.

I keep telling myself that I only need top 50...
  • My boosted Ragnarok has over 11,000 HP and tanks every color but Yellow (I'm running him with 85 Ares and 85 Thor). He's made this round the easiest so far.

The event in general has gone really smoothly for me, to be honest. The highest levels I've seen were just above 100. I've hit every node once and then just refought the essential nodes once per refresh, and that's kept me in the top ten in my main bracket. I've found the PVE a lot more fun than any of the PVPs; less repetitious, less grindy, and a lot more satisfying.
  • not starting hard mode until my heroes heal, already wasted my health packs sheesh ._. im not using my other guys, they are too low leveled D;

soooo either i can, do the prologue or just... spam 20 iso for no reason. I'm not doing god of lies with my low level 2s, or my 3* that are stuck at level 15 for a long time.

He only tanks if you leave a blank spot in your color composition. AND wasted Iso maxing him. and only then, just barely icon_lol.gif

I'm so sorry I have failed to live up to your standards. In the future, I'll be sure to run all decisions by you.
  • The 1 villian + 2 goons that pump the villian's color is pretty much a Spiderman speciality node. As powerful as Magneto is, he's not going to outrace a Prehistoric Bite every 3 turns. This combination of enemy is very susceptible to single target stuns since you only have to stun the one villian to prevent the other side from moving the board, which is a huge advantage for you. If you don't have Spiderman you can try Modern Black Widow, but probably won't be able to get your first Widow's Sting without taking at least one Prehistoric Bite unless you boost and/or have a great board.

Note that since the Assassin has a higher cost green, there's a chance Devil Dino will skip Prehistoric Bite, though I sure wouldn't count on it.

I'm not angry at you, I'm angry at rags. For being a tank that can't actually get out in front to take hits.

Also, if you stun DD, the enemy usually will go ahead and use their goon greens
  • er...guys...how did you beat the last simulator stage that has Spiderman, wolverine and Lieut anent? Mine are level 360 in hard mode and 260 in normal mode and they are like untouchable. Target spiderman, lieutenant heals, target lieutenant, spiderman stuns me. What's the combo of your team that beats this?

Usually with a stun locking combo but since you cant use spider man that is not viable.
You need a team with infinite turn combo. Good combo would be M.Storm(5/5/3), Thor(MN or Lazy variant at 3/5/5 or 5/5/3) and a OBW(3/5/5) Or C.mag + Thor + M.Storm.
Pretty much any team with a lot of AP generating skills. It will be a long and painful fight but it is do able. If you find it too hard use some boost as well.

I remember i used to beat a lvl 230 Ares + Venom + jugg team with just a M.storm, im35 and M.Black widow. But that was when +3 all AP boost cost 200 iso. Good old day.
