Blue 8 AP - Creates Special tiles that each deal damage, if this hero is stunned, each of these special tiles affect the board.
This reads like a 5* power. Interesting, I am looking forward to seeing the full details.

If a 4* character, has complete colour overlap with 4Pun (who could provide stuns to trigger this character's blue) and with Chulk (who could provide the massive green needed to progress to this character's final green power).

So two of the better team-mates by complementary powers make for terrible colour-matching.  Unless the 'special tiles' happen to be Web tiles, in which case Miles/Gwen will be awesome team mates.  But this seems unlikely.  IMHO.

It seems a bit early marketing wise, but could it be Vulture?  I guess the odds aren't great though, given how few villains there are in this game.

Please not a 5*, feels like we only just got Starlord

Powers suggest 5*. Good. I need to save the ISO for 4 covers for 3 Legendaries in queue, and upcoming events are going to provide even more excess.

That might just be the effects of power creep. It's not that new characters are necessarily stronger, but they are getting 5* kind of abilities.
R&G got 5* Banner's ability, Gamora got 2 5* abilities in her blue passive and the targeted countdown tile, C&D's passives
"Last phase that is deadly" Wonder what that will mean

Maybe this is a 5* Deadpool and the deadly phase "whales" the enemy.  But Deadpool's colors are red, purple, black though.

Often they will say "attack" or "cooldown" tiles etc in the previews.  Instead they are saying "special tile' which makes me think unique tiles (on multiple powers too).  Which means a 5*.  Also, we are due for a 5* in early-mid june.

"Creates a special tile that brings the cost down for this power to be used again a few times until it reaches the last phase that is deadly."

Dazzler throws out a disco tile that causes the enemy team to dance faster and faster, until they collapse from exhaustion. This results in an immediate victory.

In an older X-Men comic, the villain Arcade used this line... I haven't watched Legion yet, so I dunno if Arcade is represented there or not, so unsure why he'd be introduced now. The phrase was something to the effect of "stop me if you heard it, but this one will kill you" -- could relate to the green power described above. All the described abilities would fit him, being they are all special tiles, in that he lays traps rather than confronting directly.

Am curious to see who this does turn out to be

No.  I dont know who it is.  But i am pretty certain that whenever marvels ends the mpq x-men embargo, it will not be for for a b-tier character like rogue.  (Not being mean, rogue is a fine character.  But she is definitely a second tier x-men character)

Who's the Spider-Man that's secretly Doc Ock? Superior? That's my guess.
