Heroic 10-Pack came in thanks to an initial push in Fatal Attraction to make sure that I could get over the 5K barrier before my team gets destroyed.

Bullseye Black (...)
Wolverine Green (I only had three before this, so this was nice)
Storm Yellow (don't need it)
Magneto Blue (don't need it)
Bag-Man Blue x2 (because of course)
Moonstone Red (I got her almost fully covered grinding to 5,000, so this was almost worse than Bag-Man)
Daredevil Purple (Second cover of his. 13 to go.)
Doctor Doom Black (Ditto)
Hawkeye Purple (I'd shrug at this, but Hawkeye would probably just Avoid it)

My Wolverine is fully covered now, but otherwise I just got a little extra ISO. I did grab my first OBW purple though in the last push through Fatal Attraction, which might just be enough to keep me playing a little bit longer. Right now though, I'm moving on to other games--might make a push for Lazy Thor if I feel like it. Probably not. This took up a lot of my life. And Demiurge, in case you were wondering, there was nothing fun about opening this 10-pack. I wasn't glued to the edge of my seat. I kinda figured I had wasted hours of playing time for one cover that I would have gotten with enough PVP grinding anyway.

I really like the Season idea, but boy does it need some tweaking. And a little rest, maybe. Build up anticipation for the next season event, don't just start it right as the other one is ending.

Let's see, what's another Marvel game that extended a PvP season right at the last minute, citing that they were trying to make it more fair, that generated massive player backlash?

Anyone here play Marvel: Avengers Alliance? Remember that fiasco with the Deadpool exploit in PvP that happened ~4 months back? People mistimed their pushes, dropped out of their desired tier, and basically killed the forums with complaints?
Anyone think that'll happen, or are we a more mellow playerbase? (From what I've seen on both forums, I'd say we're not nearly as mellow... )
Anyone get screwed over because of this? Please, share your stories.

I don't know about "screwed," but I was planning on playing a lot of shield training today and tomorrow and shielding for the last 24 hours, with the new ending time and work my "push" is going to have on and off periods and I'm not going to be able to have a prolonged play period right before finally shielding unless I wait for the last 12 hours instead of 24... I'm guessing I'll end up with a lot less points in the end as a result

Welcome to MMR hell. Time to learn how to tank so that you can over-tank and hit the opposite end of hell (where you only face 1* teams that will get you 7-8 points but will still retaliate).

I am so ready for Season 1 to be over. And I really hope there's a long "off season" before 2 starts. I want to at least have a few weeks where it doesn't feel like I HAVE to play in every event that happens. And now I feel like I'm getting into that transition period from 2* characters to 3*, so that's making it feel a bit more stressful, I think.

I'd love to tank in SHIELD training and make it so PvP isn't quite so terrible and I don't hit that wall quite so early, but I can't since it got made a part of the Season.

Great. They extend season 1. More days.

#1, I'm tired.

#2. I have 11,400 points in season 1, and my alliance probably won't even get into the top 150. Even with most of the alliance trying.

EDIT: I should have said, given where I'm at, and where the alliance is, really hard to convince myself to continue to push so hard knowing there are no further progressions, etc. I'm at least top 15 in my personal season 1 bracket, which does help.

yeah...thinking they will throw in another one here. That plus the new Sentry PvE...talk about taxing the servers. Shield Sim, PvP and PvE all happening at the same time, and PvP/Shield Sim both tied to the finale of Season 1. It'll be chaotic with people pushing to place.

Season one extension is definitely more resources consumed for them. The North American friendly end times that were supposed to be tonight meant that I probably could have gotten away with a 3 hour shield for SHIELD training, and for the final PVP.

Now I'll have to go to 8 hour shields since I'll be at work when it ends. Not a big deal since I plan on playing a whole lot less after the season ends, but still bothersome.

Right now, it's looking like I'll only have a chance at getting 3 Heroic Packs total. I was on vacation for a week of Season 1, so that didn't help. My Alliance is only 5 people right now, and some of them have been slacking. So at least you're getting 4 and have a chance at getting 5.

i feel like only like 4 or 5 of us do more than the rest. It feels like all the weight is put on our shoulders.

So D3, please give us Torchy's event last and I"ll be happy. He's like the only 3* i've been like... working on although he can only go to level 53. He can like... totally get me to more than 1100 points and probably get my season rank to where I want it to be.

PLEASE d3 HELP A GAL OUT!!!!!!! And everyone else too....

I know how you feel, Pam. I like my alliance, they're a nice bunch of people, but we're currently in 350+ position in the daken pvp and 174th in Season 1 in total - about a quarter of the members just don't play much if at all. I'm at 970ish for the daken pvp and 10,617 points for season 1 so far in total, but it's not going to help.

I only have his red cover at 2 xD i need to improve it

but lets see what they have in store for us once Mohawken's PvP is over. O-o holy moley i just called Daken Mohawken. heeheheheh I love calling Villian's weird nicknames and are awesome heroes awesome names
