    Same here... I'm now seeing 5 days left on both Shield training and the season while Heavy Metal is still showing about 13 hours.

    i'm ready for Season 1 to be over already and get my rewards. The only progression reward worth getting is at 3000 for SpiderMan yellow but:

    1) the #1 person on the leader board isn't even at 3000
    2) one SpiderMan yellow helps me out just as much as the one 3* Daken black....none

    Awesome decision, extending season 1! It's like looking at people running a marathon and saying, "man, those folks really like running. Let's give them some more!" So you push the finish line back two miles as they approach it.

    Really, what's wrong with that? They like running, right?

    Yes they extended Season 1. I guess they do not think they going to sort things out before the event was over so they are buying themselves more time

    I think that's perfect! Gives me a chance to rank higher, grab a lot more I so, perhaps get more 2* covers I need to finish my 2* that need to catch up to Thor and wolverine

    The extension of the event is good and bad at the same time. Maybe i can manage 5000 points after all but my opponents in Fatal Attraction don't look much easier than in heavy metal but at least no level 100+ teams...

    Did they add any additional season progression rewards when they extended the season? Server is down again so I can't check.

    Anytime I click on event rewards I get an error message. I doubt they did though, that would be out of character.

    Extending season 1 is stupid enough.

    No additional progress rewards. Last one is 50 HP at 10000.

    wow. so now I bet they will squeeze another pvp into this season. And instead of ending on a sunday which is great for me! (and I assume better for more people) it now ends mid week? this is ****.

    Well. I suppose I'll get up to those 10k progression after all. in two days it would have been too much. In five it might actually be doable.

    First the server is unavailable and now an update.
    Ok, maybe they fixed whatever problems they had with this^^

    I want to try for 5000 points. Also with the extension the event will end at 17? 18? CET not 6 in the morning like everything else^^;;;;;;

    I don't like mid week ending time either, after a four-weeks long event week end seemed the finest solution for everyone...
    anyway, atm I can't connect to the game at all, so I suppose I'd better not take things too seriously icon_rolleyes.gif

    I'm not sure how they can just extend the season without compensating people HP. The extension is because of the server screw-up.

    Now the event is 3 days longer, which means people have mistimed their shielding. A lot of people are going to have to spend another 3 days worth of shielding, at least. They doesn't even include shield hopping.

    Fortunately I haven't shielded at all yet in Seasons, but that's because my pt total is still low. However, it's not really fair for those at the top trying to preserve their point margin to have to spend another ~1000 HP for an unanticipated extension that has nothing to do with anything they did.

    I sincerely hope if they are extending Seasons that they compensate players with HP for this screw-up, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

    I think anyone who started shielding in the training with over two days to go doesn't care too much about additional HP spending.
    Us normal people weren't planning to take this seriously for at least another 24 hours.

    This extension drags out a season that has gone on too long already.

    Their claim about extending the season for reasons of fairness is laughable. I suspect it has more to do with the idea of a whole month's worth of competitive pressure driving people to buy HP to get Lazy Daken fully covered for the final event.
