    me in the middle. as I plan to stay in top5 (ISO! ISO! ISO!) and not buy a shield this tourney, I guess it means 'll need to wake up at 5.30AM again... icon_rolleyes.gif

    my body slowly gets used to waking up so early. still not sure if it's good or just the opposite.
    I'm away tonight so I had to make my contributions to the alliance early. I won't be able to lose points and gain them back later.

    Haha poor you. But maybe not. Spidey is persona non grata. Actually everyone with 5 blue Spidey, myself included, will go to Purgatory instead of getting our Spideys nerfed. And you innocent souls will pray for us and be invited into No Scaling Heaven.
    And anyway I was having fun killing LT/BP teams with the squishy squadron of oBW/Hood/semi-decently leveled 3/x/3 Torch (I just try not to use his black). They were actually pretty easy and the only one dangerous enough was HT (dat red). Or Desert itself, but it's always dangerous. They just never got their mojo back, but I provided easy retals I suppose. Only broke out Spidey when facing other Spideys and cMags everywhere, and funnily enough still wiped on offense one time (yes I am that person that is able to lose with 5 blue Spidey).

    Yeah, hoods high on my todo list. Maybe with the punisher tourney ISO. Honestly I'd prefer magneto covers. With patch he just makes teams explode. I beat some spidey team,thought "well that was annoying" went against a patch mags team (not quite 141s but high level) things were going fine, I took a sip of coke, when I looked back berserker rage, everything on the screen started moving around uncontrollably,I saw a witch fly by on a bike with a puppy in the basket and I was dead.

    The moral of the story is hydrate prematch people, I can't stress this enough

    Yeah cMags can be brutal with 2 red. I wiped on one, overwhelmed with his superiority and never-ending AP generation. (Just rewatched the old X-Men animated series Enter Magneto episode. That man, he will possess my dreams tonight.)

    Managed to get to 800 before hitting the wall of 141 this time. Oh please mpq gods, let this be a sign that I've paid for my sins of impudence, and grant me release from my mmr hell..!

    Got to 900 without being attacked once and only seeing easy matches worth 15-25 points. Quite different from the last tourney, I honestly don't know what's up with the match making anyway, whatever it is I'll just roll with it. I really only need a red cover (my Punisher is 5/1/5 ffs) and I have Ghast in the bracket so I'm guessing he'll win it. Since this ends at 6 am I'm not going to climb any higher anyway. I considered not shielding and just seeing where I end up afterwards, but if I'd miss the red cover because of that I'd beat myself silly so I chickened out and shielded icon_cry.gif

    But I paired him with squishy Hood/non-max Spidey to make it easier for people to beat him. He was with 141 Fathor and Classic Mags before.

    Haha, mags and the fat man came up in my node! Just cleared 1000. First time I've done that and yet still 91 shy of it being useful. Grrrr!

    I did that last match holding a wet puppy, I should get bonus points for difficulty

    well looks like all i can do is just try to keep my rank where classic storm is so i can train her powers. I need to start improving my 2* covers so i can have better covers then IM 35 and modern storm. Torchy will have to wait to be improved in the future. I will have to avoid future pvp events until im ready.

    I swear, this game knows exactly when I'm trying to actually hurry through games. Always makes sure to give me these **** games where the enemy gets whatever they need to make sure the game takes as long as possible. Gah! Probably losing 50 points because of this fight.

    I wouldn't avoid them. Just temper expectations. They're great for iso and tokens when you're building your team. Where as once your 2* roster is built the tokens are worthless (most of the time)

    Enjoy these days. I'd kill for token excitement. Instead every 2* I toss like rubbish just makes me sad. And don't get me started on when you toss 3*s you don't need. I'd much rather give them to alliance members or hold an invitational Mpq kumite for them.

    Well got to 1100 somehow within the last half hour and shielded I guess in first. 2nd was making a move once he noticed and since I didn't really care if I won the x-force I unshielded with 10 minutes left to start fighting again. Got hit for -67 when almost at 1200 so not sure if I actually won but whatever.

    Just not sure what to do with this torch, 5 red is a gimmie, the other 2 skills...

    As much as I understand that someone can demand a lot from members of his alliance, I think this is way too much. Really? For 150HP?
    Or is it only to boost the ego of Xerses?

    This tourney has been a revelation lol! Both the 1100 prog reward and my very 1st top placement in a normal PvP (besides LRs). Out of my 7 legendary covers, this is the only one I actually *earned* for placing.
    Hood/oBW omg I love ye guys, taking on BP/LTs with ease. Time to burn things up with Punpunbunnybun.

    The fact that I never shielded and saved my HP is a huge bonus.
