is it weird that the #1 and #3 alliance in hm basically have only * and ** rosters?0
-
ok so i just looked at one deadly quest and the three guys are level 53. How am i suppose to do it with a level 31 iron man, 30 storm with m awesomely buffed HT? im already nervous about doing this xD0

dont feel bad if u get wiped...it happens to everyone, even the players with high level 3* rosters. the deadly mode is supposed to be hard. if ur roster is still mid level 1*s, u might not be up for it yet. grind the easy mode and shoot for a good placement there. stick with the game and ur roster will be able to compete on a higher level in just a few weeks time. everyone takes their licks in the beginning. good luck.

There is a trend in which the further I level my characters and complete my roster the lower I rank in these so-called "Heroic" events. Delightful.0

In a roster without the usual cheap tricks people are accustomed to, even level 70 max covered villians are plenty hard to beat.
I do think they need to check the issues about enemy covers, since missing a single purple cover for Venom and Daken has a huge effect on how hard they are. That is, a level 70 Daken with 5 purple covers is probably at least 50% harder than a level 69 Daken with only 4 covers in purple. While these guys are especially powerful on their last cover, there's a general trend of the last cover being very important for skills so they need to account for that.0 -

Bad guys with higher levels can be intimidating. Maybe use a couple boosts to give you an edge?0 -

Doing okay in this, just ok though. Seem to spend more time in prologue healing up though. Even with my 64 HT 0/0/5 boosted to 154, and my 60 BP 2/1/5, still having issues with certain nodes. Definitely not having a healer reduces the ability of any marathon runs.
I do at least have a 61 Wolvie 5/5/3, a 50 mhawk 5/5/3, and 90 psy 2/4/5. Want a 5/3/5 psy, but mainly got black/blue covers. The HP I did spend instead was on HT green and BP black. HT on the right board with lots of green, and really do some damage. BP, same, but black is 12 cost, and sometimes there just doesn't seem to be enough black on most boards.0 -

Edit: On the original run of this event (november ?) I couldnt pass 4th mission and now Im stuck on 3rd. Those days my team was one star characters at levels between 20-40, now those teams are winning this thing.0 -

I have 180s on Interference (highest point mission that doesn't require HT), though I don't really want to think about how I am supposed to beat that again.
One thing I noted is that trying to start late and you'll get burned by community scaling in this event. The levels went up by quite a bit since the start of the event even on nodes I never touched. I don't know if it's intended, but it was pretty unfair when community scaling wasn't much so the guy who grinded earlier have a high personal scaling while the latecomers just waltz in with their pristine personal rating and rubberband their way to the top.0 -
I have learned to love boosts.0

Starting late and entering a bracket and then playing late are not the same thing. I just started my bracket and I have lvl 60 on isolate. For comparison, what is yours at? Your sentences contrast eachother so I assume your second sentence is to say that before they could, now they cannot? While the community scaling goes up, it still gives those ppl a lower scaling compared to starting "on time." That said, the community scaling does make it far less egregious. For an event like this, I would still prefer to start late and/or wait to do refreshes in order to do fewer of them...very little per a match reward here and irritating -ish teams. Of course, playing sub 100s means I don't care much about thier lvls anyway...but yea.0 -

Isolated Normal: 81 Bullseye 82 PyroX2
Isolated Deadly: 150 Bullseye 150 Pyro 151 Pyro
They're probably still adjusting the weights for personal/community scaling. In Simulator Basic your personal scaling dominates so starting early just means everything you fight is 230 while a guy who starts later beats some starting mission at a reasonable level and easily makes up that gap. I assume your level 60 is normal? If it's Deadly, that's pretty low. I've been seeing some missions going up a lot even when I didn't do anything for extended time, like normal bracket's HT required mission, and Interference on Deadly (what kind of psychos are clearing this mission???)0 -
i joined the event late...is the refresh still 12 hours?0

So I was a little stupid and decided to level my 2/1/1 BP from 20 to 30 just to see how that would change his stats and halfway through doing so it dawned on me that this would **** up my scaling for the event. And as feared, in Deadly Venom the Levels for 'A Game of Stones' jumped from mid-60s to mid-80s and 'Iso-lated' jumped about 15 Levels to low 80s (Rest I can't quantify as exactly, last HT node might have been around 10).
Seeing how I used 108 HT / 85 Wolvie / 6 Bag-Man most of the time before (and sure as hell won't use BP over my 42 Iron Man) I can't understand how this increase in scaling is reasonable. Shouldn't there at least be a minimum level that characters are allowed to have before they affect scaling (and it should be lower than what the opponents' levels are), or scaling only based on the n highest level members of the roster (5 maybe?). As is I negatively impacted my ability to play for no discernable gain.0 -
So we have less than 1 day left and end progression rewards are AGAIN unreachable, at least for Deadly for sure...0

Actually there's a pretty significant community scaling part to these missions too. It's probably there to ensure people who just wait until the end to do the missions don't get a free ride. I see quite a few of missions just go up spontaneously without me doing anything.0 -
Meanwhile, the majority of the Top 10 in my bracket for both regular and deadly have their highest leveled Heroes at 60-70. Oh how I wish I was at their MMR... -.-0
