I have pretty much given up on this event because I don't find it entertaining. This is a mobile game for me and not worth the annoyance and grind of this event.0

#1 guy in my Normal mode bracket has 6 characters in his roster, the only usable character for the event is his lvl 15 HT. Because of this he's fighting super low level mobs and his buffed up HT is annihilating everything, and he can do this because you don't need to have at least 3 usable characters for the event. Broken?0

At least the rewards are LazyCap and not a new character. I have zero desire to even play this PvE event.0 -
six cracks at the first node in Deadly - no avail. The start at level 187-190, and 7 turns in my entire roster is down. That is, seven of my turns, which is like 20 for the opponent thanks to the One Eyed Long Tongued Drooling Purple Pump Eater team stunmaster aka venom.
Not fun, enjoyable or challenging. challenging means you have a chance. This is simply an exercise in masochism. Done with Deadly. First time I have ever bowed out of an event.

This sucks dude, my first node in Deadly started at lvl 68. I've heard of others starting with super high levels like you too. Submit a ticket and hopefully they'll realize there's a mistake for some people and they'll throw out a quick patch to fix it.0 -

Yep. My deadly started at 220, effectively beef-gating me out of half of the event and rewards. Worse, with only half of the points available to me, I'm creating a drag on my entire alliance -- I'll probably be excommunicated when this is all over.
Hell, they won't even let me make lemonade in the lounge anymore0 -
I like that Human Torch/Modern Storm combo with red. If you have 11 AP, you can fire off his ability and still have enough for her ability (when the 2 red returns back).0

I've been playing for 171 days now and this is by far the worse event they've created. Sorry alliance, I may be sitting this one out.0

This is event is a pain for me. I did it more or less ok on easy, but in hard it is too much. HT is lvl 100+ but his abilities are so low with just one cover that he is barely usable. I am still wondering if I should put some HP into him and buy some covers (I am still undecided about his worthiness as a character)... Or maybe give up completely on this event.
It is very annoying to have 5 or more 3* 120+ lvl characters and not being able to use any of them. It is like being a newbie again :S0 -

Are the rewards for each node worth it? For easy bracket it's any of these 70, 100, 200 ISO and Standard Token. You get Lazy Cap covers if you place well, but you can spend HP on those Cap covers instead of spending on HT just to go through this stupid tinykitty event.0 -
I have to admit, I'm so confused how scaling works. I finished top 10 in the last PVE and got my 3 HT covers (with alliance rewards). I think there's only one event in the last 4 months where I haven't gotten multiple covers of the newest character. And yet, my enemies in hard mode are still hanging out in the 70's and 80's. They started in the 50's.
I suspect by the end they'll be up to 200+, but I don't understand how much better I would need to do in an event to hit the garbage you guys are seeing this early.
For reference, I'm running a 20 HT (110 buffed), 85 Wolverine, and 72 Psylocke (who will eventually cap at 79, possibly 95 if I buy her a cover - depends on ranking and ISO flow).0 -

Well, that's the part of scaling that's so annoying. Putting in time and effort to build a roster is meaningless if your successes are just going to disqualify you from future competition. If the difficulty on the nodes were set at reasonable and logical intervals, and the progression and node rewards were attainable and well thought-out, every player could make progress based on their roster strength while the fully established players could duke it out for the top spots. Reasonable players wouldn't have any objection to not taking first, especially if they were earning useful progression and mission rewards from the stuff they could actually complete.0 -
I dont get the mechanics of the scaling. I pulled two HT covers last event (couldnt play last ~4 hours) and, as you can seen, Im in the scAvengers so we have been tops in the last two PVEs. Yet my Hards started around 70. Its pretty brutal as I dont really have anyone other than A.Wolv.
That said, I love the concept of scaling. It makes it so the newbs arent totally screwed out of playing as things get harder for those of us who are beating the nodes. I just dont get why it means that they end up in the top tier of rewards when those are less useful to them than being in the 2* tier.0 -
Generally the top tier rewards are NOT less useful to newbies because they tend to be essential/powered up in the following events. To a newbie, even a single powered up essential 3* can let them compete well in an event.0

It's interesting the deadly for my guildmates and I are love 60's top. we are newbs (all less than 50 days played) have 2*'s leveled up.
In the normal event, we are ranked top 4000 for our alliance. even though two of our alliance members are in the top 10 in their events and another is in the top 25 atm. The pains of having only a 5 person alliance.
However, in the deadly event, our alliance is currently sitting at 435th place. With a TON of room to improve for all of us. Because of scaling being the "great equalizer" it's given my newby alliance a chance at alliance rewards without having 15+ people in our alliance.
So, while it does suck for you guys and I do agree it's broken, i will GLADLY take my cap cover! That being said, if they fix it, i would be sad, but in all honesty, it needs to be.0 -

You are VERY correct, my friends and I have pushed to place at least into the new 3* cover range just to have a chance at the other events even though our rosters are weak in level comparison. We have been able to finish top 10 even on top of both pvp and pve events thanks to scaling effecting the larger alliances and powered up heroes.
But, unless we are willing to increase our alliance to 15+ we don't stand a chance at alliance rewards usually. (Venom Deadly event excluded)0
