  • The new alliance chat is awesome! How long will the messages stay on the servers? Is there a time limit or a size limit? (i.e. message #20 erases message #1 forever)

  • constructive criticism is good but I dont think we should be insulting about the hypno-crit. Someone worked on that and it would suck to read this kind of response about ones work.

    I do think that it deserves another iteration though. on the board there is so much data to digest that the animation distracts you. you have character icons, colors, shapes, strike and attack icons.

    What if you took the old crit tile and instead of the red background, divided it up into 6 colored areas instead. that way you dont have to animate it in order to communicate the possibility of matching it with any color and it doesnt detract from the rest of the information on the board.


    oh and noticed the new clean pre-award page. looks awesome.
  • Anyone else dead on iOS 7.1 after the upgrade? I just get 'loading' forever - it's not moving past the loading screen. I've rebooted my iPad, relaunched the game, but I'm still stuck.

    Interesting, haven't gotten anything through on CS for it, so it can't be widespread.

    Apparently the magneto purple fix was added in this patch as well, should probably be added to patch notes

    I've deleted the App and reinstalled it from the App Store. Still no dice. Next steps?

    Try it on a different Wi-Fi? Normally infinite loading screens (in dev anyway) are masking some kind of network error. Also, you don't by chance have Madagascar: Join the Circus installed, do you? If it *is* a leftover data issue for some reason, having another D3 published game on there will keep the data, and hence that issue.

    What changed?

    His purple previous only cared about the number of blue tiles on the board when calculating damage. Now its been fixed to actually do what it says, which is deal damage based off of the swaps that you make (which ends up being the minimum of the number of blue/red tiles on the board). A pretty significant nerf to his purple, so I expect we'll see migrations to 5/5/3.

    Yea, this is how I envisioned the tile when they said they were going to change it. Gets the point across without being a distraction.

    Oh - I never noticed that it did not do what it said it would. Lol. Mags lightning rounds will be intense now!

    Good catch! That change didn't go through the normal protocols and wasn't on our normal check-ins as a result. Adding it to the Patch Notes now. Sorry for the inconvenience!

    jesus, i always thought the mag rounds were hard enough already... i just finished my mag with 5/3/5 with a lucky standard pull for the red icon_cry.gif

    Sorted! And then switched back to my wifi network, and all is well. Weird. Thanks for the advice - I wouldn't have thought of that by myself. icon_e_biggrin.gif
