What I don't understand is the massive difference between the levels in the nodes compared to the levels in the Boss fights.
I just did the Patch wave in Round 3, level 33 enemies. Boss wave, 265-343.

Broken. So utterly ridiculously broken. I got a shiver down my spine when I read the intro splash and it mentioned earning points "even if you lose". Galactus Round 1, gone but obviously not forgotten.0 -
Just beat the boss node in round 4 using xforce (4/4/2, L194), Rocket & Groot, and Kamala (Yellow and Pink maxed), a GSBW Sniper team up, and a good dose of luck on OML.0

Really isn't any fun by Round 4.
Very disappointing because I typically really enjoy the Galactus/Ultron event format.
The Peggy covers seem out of reach.0 -
this is ridiculous. Im all for a challenge but this is insane. 0 of my champed 4 stars are buffed and in round 3 I am facing almost lvl 400 bosses.
The nodes are a joke. But the boss scaling is wayyyyyyyyyy wayyyy too high. If they get a good cascade might as well just quit.0 -

GG is so OP and then having to face OML at the end? Stupid Hard0 -
Round 4. The two successes I had were Switch/ProfX/GSBW, and OML/IMHB/IF. Charlie's Angels barely got off the ground with winfinite thanks to the high match damage, and it gets long and tiring, so I didn't try that again. Two losses were the first OML/Fistbuster attempt (Wolverine killed me immediately at the start of wave 3) and the last one, where IF got killed on turn 1. Not wave 1, turn 1, before he even got to make an attack tile. (Still managed to beat GG before IM46 Won Team me hard.)
...But hey, after the second 5 boss fights, -15k losses, I made it to round 5, so "yay"? Can't wait to see how hard the next one is... (level 397-404) I sure hope doing the harder side nodes will earn decent points toward the round progression rewards.
It's frustrating that some of these guys have all high values in match damage instead of 3 high, 3 low, it makes every lucky cascade a nightmare. It's the kind of thing that makes you wish there were decent healing or Protect tile powers. Glad to hear Kamala is doing well for people. Maybe i'll downgrade to a 3-star team...0 -
I agree, round 4 is ridiculous. The sad thing isn't even that it's "hard". It's that if Green Goblin manages to summon any minions, then the game becomes you sitting and watching as he fortifies tiles, then a bunch go off, then a few more get made, then there's some dumb animation as he speeds them up, then a few more go off, then, oh, right, he takes his turn, which inevitably chains 18 times, and then, wait, is it my turn? Holy ****? Really? Oh, and btw, 2 more bosses after him, enjoy!
Difficulty I don't mind. Waiting 5 minutes to take my turn, I mind.0 -
I was dreading round 4 after a horrific round 3, but so far I've won the first two matches (level 346 bosses) with boosted level 262 Patch, boosted level 267 Doom, and level 182 Hood. The nice thing is that Patch's enemy strike tiles won't scramble Doom's traps, so wait until they're all or nearly all covered before letting loose with one or two berserker rages followed by a diabolical plot. First go round OML didn't get a turn off, second time he got one.0

I don't post often here, but Boss Rush was so bad I felt like I needed the devs to hear about it. Basically, I'm echoing everything everyone else here has said - why screw with the alliance progression and what the heck went wrong with the scaling? My regular nodes are level 39 and the boss node is level 391. I feel like I have a great roster overall, and I've got no chance of beating these matches. What's the point?
Double ISO is awesome, but the rest of this Anniversary has s-u-c-k-e-d.0 -
I lost one round because I didn't realize the Ultron bombs had gone from 2k damage to 12k damage. Whoops. Thought they would scale a little less.... quickly.
And I have yet to find a team that can get past OML in round 4. By the time I get to him he has a zillion AP to use.0 -
I think if they even just put something in that cleared the boss ap each round it would not be that bad. As it is its pretty much a loss of health packs and thats it.0

Just made it through round 5. Seemed a heck of a lot easier than round 4. Not easy at all though.
I used Champed XForce Wolvie, Champed Iron Fist, and Prof. X. I +2 blue/purp, +2 green/black, and +2 all.
The plan of attack was to hope for Black, Purple and Yellow heavy board. Get a purple match as soon as possible.
Iron Fist gets his pray on, drops loads of blacks, hopefully getting at least one of Prof. X's blue to trigger. After that, Wolverine should Surgical Strike the Yellows away. All 3 bosses will have yellow as their Strike color.
If Goblin calls on his goons, IGNORE THEM. Keep GG as your focus. The quicker he's gone, the quicker they go. This same process works in battle 2 with Cap as well. Just replace the word goons with Avengers.
The Old Man Logan battle is just a hair different. Since he doesn't heal (Thank Jeebus), use Prof. X as your pawn. He's gonna die quick, though. So use that time to get as many Pray/Surgical Strikes in as possible. With a little luck, you might get the Prof to use blue once or twice before he's down.
The only other advice for this team in this battle is to try to take out Goblin and Cap using an ability and not through match. This will allow you to get the first attack on Cap and Logan respectively.0 -
Iron Man keeps winning against me by using Winning Team multiple times in a single turn. Cool story.0

Agreed, the scaling is utterly ridiculous. Round 4, all bosses level 375. I managed a clear of round 4 bosses only because ProfX was invisible. He was sole survivor during 2nd boss, and clearing iron man's house party protocol about 5 times before getting through. Then OML went down in about 5 turns (thankfully I still had some attack and strike tiles on the board).
Devs - could you please explain your line of thinking when you set the difficulty levels?0 -
Protip - Make sure you change out your one-star team from the first Deadpool Daily node before you go into the Boss Rush node. If you don't...well, let's just say it doesn't end well.0

Round 5:
Green Goblin (lvl 381 : 34282 health : all match 268)
Captain America (lvl 381 : 35996 health : 362)
OML (lvl 388 : 36156 health : all match 282)
Still trying to rock 4 , and 3 . As long as I can avoid the AI firing powers by board shaking from power to power I'm ok. Every match 4 does 2k+ damage and I shudder to think what happens if they get a match 5.
Peggy feels really far away.0
