Yeah, that was pretty scary. I thought for a minute or so that they may have accidentally trashed all the alliances. I was expecting mass chaos and outrage. It was going to be MPQ:Walking Dead Edition.

Then everything went back to normal + season 1. I missed out on pushing for the 1000 progression award in Army of One because of all the server communication shennanigans. Oh well, it was only 1k iso.

This is just an idea for chat. In game you can only see so many "chats" I guess you could call it. This lets you look through all that you might of missed through the day like when John left. You can also have sub forums for strats and whatever else you might want to post. They have it for iphone and droid and you can cross phone chat. You just need the app. I used this app when I played Rage of Bahamut and Marvel War of Heros but I deleted it when I quit playing those games.

We were discussing the alliance criteria in chat and I figured I'd post it here for a more considered discussion and so those who missed out on the flurry of in-game chat messages don't get completely left in the dark. To sum up my memory of the conversation:

We're not interested in having minimum point requirements or thresholds. That's not what we're about - we want to win and be a top-tier (or near top-tier) alliance, but many of us have families/kids and we've done well so far at getting the top alliance rewards without a minimum requirement.

That being said, if an alliance member is consistently at the bottom of every event AND inactive in chat, on the forums, etc. then there's a problem. With the competition at the top, one or two freeloaders can really bring down the team ranking in an event.

I think the main takeaway is that if you're down near the bottom in a few events in a row and there's a reason for your inactivity and poor performance, acknowledge the issue with the group so that we know it's a temporary bump in the road. We've all got to pull our weight to keep the covers rolling in. If you choose to tank an iron man event with **** rewards to manage your MMR (I'm guilty of that), it can benefit everyone long term so feel free to share your plan and nobody's going to hassle you. But if we're all spending a good bit of HP to earn those new Daken covers, Lazy Thor covers, Nick Fury covers, etc. and you're not participating, then heads might roll.

Anybody see it differently?

For some wierd bug I can't speak on Alliance chat (words get truncated) so I'll say goodbye here.

I'm leaving the Alliance and free up a spot to a more dedicated player, anyway if any of you wanna keep in touch add me in steam -> valentnu

Hello everyone, I am dwolfe in game as well, day 222 looking to join an alliance and get those *** covers to really flesh out my roster. Not sure if you have any minimum requirements, I have 32 full character slots, but still working on maxing several viable *** characters. Have a few good maxed ** so far, but progress would be far faster with a solid alliance for the extra rewards. Progress has been slow the last few weeks as I went on vacation to Peru (awesome!) and looking forward to getting back into it. Love the balance of power one-off tourney so far, makes me miss my old * characters!

Hey guys, glad to be here. This alliance is much more active and productive than my last. I have a few questions though, as I'm a mobile user only. How do you tell how long you have been playing for?

I live in Idaho, USA, and am 33. I'm in Telecom Sales and have been a Marvel fanatic since I could read and convince my mom to let me read comics. I have given up most gaming, as I don't have much time for it, but I enjoy MPQ a whole lot. I played Marvel War of Heroes a bit too obsessively and had to quit when I got to the upper levels where pay to play was the only way to compete. MPQ is much better in that it doesn't have the market for trading covers. Trading covers was great fun, but it took away from just playing for fun.

If I had to pick my favorite Marvel characters, I would go with
1. Wolverine
2. Spiderman
3. Dr. Strange
4. Daken
5. Hulk (Especially Ang Lee's Version. No jokes)

If I'm picking my favorite females, I love Ms. Marvel to death. Spiderwoman is fantastic! Storm and Rogue will always have my heart and respect... Jesus that felt like a low point as a grownup.

I like this game a lot as a perfect time killing way to play with some of my favorite characters.

My favorite characters in this game are
1. *** Daken
2. *** Cap Steve Rogers
3. *** Captain Marvel
4. *** Torch
5. Psylock
(6. I feel like Falcon and Deadpool will get there for me. Just need the covers and levels.)

I don't know what else to say. I do pay to play from time to time when I make a big sale and want to reward myself.

Thanks for letting me in. I tend to get 600-800 in PvP, and end most PvE in the top 50, depending on if I need the covers.

I made a line chat room for mobile users who struggle with the forums, like me. If you have line, search for MethodXman as a lineID. When you setup your account, make sure you create a username AND A LINE ID. Otherwise no one will be able to find you.
