Thanks for your advices!
I will try 5red 5 purple for Magneto.
When he was buffed during an event, he was indeed very good paired with cStorm. Who knows, when I'll have some iso to spare...
Well, I don't enjoy replaying nodes in the event for a few points without any chance to climb the leaderboard. I'm going to let the rubberbanding activate while I sleep. Already shielded in wlovie tournament. As usual I burned my health packs before reaching 700 so probably not a top 10. Nevermind, the most important is that I really enjoyed destroying foes with a 253 lvl buffed Patch0 -

Now I really don't want to level Venom. Who am I kidding, now I specifically want to level him..!0 -
For the first time since I started playing, I finally caved and bought a shield for end of the wolverine tournament. I want those cap covers really bad
Also, this is the most intense PvP bracket I've ever been in, which seems a bit weird considering I didn't think the forum was too fond of lazy cap...... Is it just my bracket that's heating up?0 -
In my bracket the top was around 700, 800-900 for the #1 I guess. An active bracket but nothing exceptional.
IceIX stated on forums that captain was indeed the most played two-stars characters. He's not the most popular on the forum but he seems to be liked by the other players. Some underlined that beyond the popularity of the character Captain in the comics **Captain is a good character to start a transition from * to ** because he shares colors and role with IM35.
congrats everyone for 'Best There Is' tournament. One more top 50 for Extraordinary0 -
my bracket's leader were in the 1000s, but I was still able to pull off top ten. I know I had walkyourpath in my bracket (dudes got a lvl 172 Invisble woman), so I guess I just ended up in a hard bracket.0
-
This was one of the toughest brackets I've played where I wanted the covers. Top 2 were at 1k and I barely finished at 10 with 770..!
The 3* cap isn't actually lazy cause they made tweaks on him, and good ones too. A spammable high damage with red, stun AND protect tiles with blue so he is much more usable than 2* cap0 -
I wish I could have contributed more on the Wolverine tourney. Though I have all three versions in my roster, my Wolverines are drastically under-leveled. I've been concentrating ISO on my villains for the lightning rounds, and faster transition to three-star teams.
I do enjoy using Cap when I can. He's one of my higher level characters, and I'm glad they tweaked his lazy version to not be as lazy as Thor's.
I'm looking forward to the Human Torch. I still need to get his sister, but I have a hard time seizing the number one slot nowadays. The competition seems to have rampped up a bit since I started playing.0 -

I must confess that when I start playing, I mostly focused on PvE. I didn't like the PvP where unpredictable retaliations made you fall and force you to start over from the beginning. Now that I'm more experienced I know how to defend a rank in PvP and joining the alliance keep me motivated in PvP tournament! Still, my highest achievement is top 10 and I never really try to grab #1 because I find this too stressful. Who knows, maybe later...0 -
Before I got my first 2* team fully covered I considered pvp as a way to gain iso, so I didn't worry about ranking that much. But it was rather difficult trying to stay in the 3 2* cover range, cause I sometimes got retaliated by 1* team. 1 or 2 defensive wins and you ended up with 1 3* character you couldn't use.
Managing yout mmr is one of the most important aspect of pvp, because otherwise a lot higher team players start to see you in their nodes and you will get your points taken down fast. There's no difficulty for same level rosters defeating me either of course, but there's a chance to start a retaliation war with them, helping you both stay in place or even to climb in ranking up to a certain point, till you lose more than you gain from him/her0 -
Yay! I got lucky and drew the last 25 hp I needed to buy a roster slot for Human Torch from the daily rewards0
-
nice for you. and a good point for R50.
I engaged myself in a retaliation war in BW tournament: many fights to stay more or less at the same place0 -
Anybody want to trade Facebook info for iso trading?0

livinglegend, I am looking for someone who is actually playing the game everyday and putting some time into it. I am keeping the people I share with down to 3 and have room for one more. If you are keeping it down to only 3 and play everyday, I am in just let me know. I am sending 2 or 3 items out everyday.0

Ok guys, the time has come to let this one go, as sad as it is to say.
First off this alliance has been great, and you've been pretty much the thing that kept me in the game for the last couple weeks, waiting if any of the recent changes would be revoked. But it's time to come out of my denial and face it: This is it boys and girls, this is the game we get from now on.
And it's not the game I tried out and then decided to put my focus and free time in. Now I'm just not able to play it effectively, by which I mean getting decent results and fun gameplay with Reasonable amount of time and effort. I've never been able to plan my life around the game, but previously I could manage my gaming experience in different ways, like bracket join times, rubberbanding and mmr management. Now the devs are on a hellbent crusade to remove any and all meta from the game and in the course they took all my management tools away from me. Thus making the game fairly unplayable for me in any sort of competitive manner. By the time I actually get to play the game, I get exhausted even before having a hope of a decent score due to how the sharding, mmr and shielding works now. Nothing new here basically, it's all been said already, devs punishing us for doing better and all that. It's been there for ages in pve and now these things are upon us in pvp too, so there's nothing left for me anymore.
I know I'm not the only one with these problems and if I persisted the game might take a turn for the better. But when I've reached a point when I'm getting only negative experiences, and feel pure relief when I make the call to give up and close the app, it's a pretty good sign that it's time to move on and let go. Spend my time with something I care about for a change and so on.
I hope you guys have a different experience about the game, I really do. And that the devs stop being *sensored* and start seeing how they are completely messing the game's overall arc of a good gaming experience with their short sighted decisions.
Therefore I'm moving the game to my time killers-drawer, and it wouldn't be fair to you to stay in the alliance, since I'm not gonna be doing high scores unless I get in a mpq frenzy, which I don't expect to happen very often.
Wow this turned out a bit of a rant, I guess I had some steam to vent
Best wishes and have a great game

Farewell Warhog.
I must say I share your disappointment about the current state of the game.
But, at the moment, I'm mostly upset because the devs (and their wrong moves) made you quit us!
I wish I could fill a ticket for this...0 -

It has been a great journey with you.
Take care!0 -
DrFunX,
If you are reading this... I cannot see your name in the alliance.
Did you press leave group by mistake?0 -

Work hard, play hard... This is my mantra. I am looking to join your team. I am a consistent player with respectful stats in both PvP and PvE. Strong top 25 in Season 1, Avg 800-900 in PvP. With 110+ days in its time to help this alliance if you are willing to give a slot. Roller23 needs a home... Will grind and be a valuable member that will help push this group to the next level.
I share your philosophies of having fun and enjoying the game without taking it too serious.
Thanks for the consideration and I look forward playing as a group to take down and work other players and ailliances!0
