I am taking a leave as well. This game is getting more and more competitive and to maintain getting the new rewards requires a time of commitment i am not willing to make anymore. The seasons destroyed me. I wound up playing between 2-3 hours every day and cant do that any more.

Thank you for having me in the alliance. I wish you guys the best and if i ever return to this game i hope this alliance will be still around and kicking.

Old addiction is hard to kill.
I am gradually cutting down the game time...
In the main while, bounding around different public alliance teams.

I have seen many teams, with their team members trying to get the players to play both PvP and PvE to get the reward. Or their chat is very empty.
Makes me so glad I had been in such a great team before!
Where we have every single top 100 alliance reward in season 1 with both PvP and PvE and such lively chat.

Hi all,

There was a lot of changes for Extraordinary recently with a lot of player turnover.
I think it would be a good thing that we all discuss what we want for the alliance in the near future, here in this forum thread.
Indeed, we talk on the chat but it's hard to keep the records. So, please share your thoughts with the team here. And we could then discuss further on the chat, live.

By the way, if ever some ex-members want to partipate [stares at the ironman97's post above] it would be nice!

The season 3 just began and we all see that we don't manage to rank top 100 in pve or pvp. In summary we are not a top100 alliance anymore.

1. Season 3 objective
Some of us said on chat that our objective is thus to become a top100 alliance again.
How? Asking that each member reach a minimum score in pvp? To do that maybe we should share our strategy, especially on tanking.
I suggest that tanking strategy will be reserved for the chat as it seems to be a taboo on forum
Conversely, maybe some of us would like rather to give up this top 100 objective?

2. Leaving and recruitment
Depending on the objectives we'll choose, we may lose more members in the future.
Some may want to leave because the game now requires too much involvement.
Others may want to leave to join a more competitive alliance right now and have a chance at 3* rewards
If needed i can handle the advertising for recruitement as I spend some time lurking on forums

I joined the alliance when Ironman97 created it.
I liked the fact that we were involved, daily players but not really insane hardcore.
I was proud we were in all top100 in both PvE and PvP so, yes, I'd like that we'll become a top100 alliance again
(Thanks to the alliance I gained many 3* covers, I'd like it to be the same for our new members)

I am a daily player (or almost) but I don't take things too seriously: I play to decrease stress not increase it.
I play on PC, when not at home I don't play. timezone: UTC+1
I prefer PvE over PvP.
In PvE, I may grind events (when I'm at home) because I'm essentially a solo player
In PvP, I may lack some dedication because I don't like the retaliation mechanism that make you lose point. But I think I'm able to reach a minimum point to help alliance, at least if I manage my MMR. 300-500 points would be a minimum, but the fact is we lost several players who regularly scored 800-1000.

I would leave if alliance ask too many involvement.
I can handle the recruitement on forum if you want.

I'm proud I have joined Extraordinary soon after Ironman97 created it. Seems like ages ago, I find it incredible I still play this game every day. I often think this can not last long but I do not intend quitting just yet.
I play on PC. I'm in timezone UTC+1.

I don't like PVP much. Actually I hate it when I play for an hour to gather some points then most of them are gone in minutes when attacked several times over one match. I usually score 700+ points. Went over 800 couple of times, was under 600 once or twice. Aslo as this score is fine with the alliance I'm happy, otherwise I'd leave. I simply don't want to put even more time in this game.
Being part of alliance is nice as it brings many rewards. I'd like to thank everyone who contributed in the past and those who still contribute. However, it's bitter sweet: at the beginning I had mixed feelings as I was scoring less points than majority of members, and now I have mixed feelings because most of people score less than me.

I am a bit down because we're not top 100 alliance anymore, but people who left are not easy to replace. We'll just need to accept that as a fact.

Let me thank DrNitroman for taking over from Ironman97 and Neuromancer. I think you're doing great job. I'd be grateful if you're willing to handle the recruitment on the forum.

I have seen 20 person team consisting of members with lvl 85 char getting top 100 in PvP.

What is needed:
To rank 90 and above on PvP with 20 person, each needs to contribute ~650 pts to have around 13,000 in total.
If there are at least 5 players going for top 10 to grow their roster, having around 800 to 900 per game, and the rest will need around ~600.

So you can see, a lot of active PvP members are required to be on top 100 for PvP now.

There is no problem for the team to get back on top 100. Our roster is quite strong.

There is also no shame to say we are just taking a break as it can be quite time consuming to fight the lvl 141 PvP every 2 days.

Moving on, the team will to decide if to take the game down 1 notch, or fight back to top 100.

Right, we were some team! It was very nice! It's not the end of the world we're not top 100 currently. After all it's just a game. We play for fun, there is no point in anything else. I'm sure I will need a break at some point too...

I'm convinced the team could come back to top 100, maybe not immediatly but it's possible.
I agree there is no shame to take a break though.
For me the most important, it is that all alliance members share the same philosophy (and objectives) for season 3.
Ironman97 you often remembered us that it's a game and that should be fun and not stressful: I always liked that!

I precise that I just try to motivate some discussion within the team so that we can take some decisions collectively.
I'm not a leader but I like working in a team.
