    Mmm, one star skirmish was awful
    I only had 3 one star chars left: L.40 venom/L.40 M.storm and L.1 Jugg. I sold a max lev IM35 and M.widow because I needed more room, so I had to dump iso into storm and Juggernaut with ***Thor and C.Mag waiting to be leveled up. It was painful.

    Oh well, I have 3 "super-useful" hood covers now... icon_e_biggrin.gif

    YEAH!! I just got a Black Panther cover with the rewards from the last round of tournaments, so I can now manage to do well in the next sub rounds.

    3 hoods, don't mind if I do, jolly good old chap, jolly good. Only top 50 in last subs, but now ares is just 1short. Hope to do better in this round, still around top 10 in main though.

    Got some hp saved up and thinking about putting another yellow on lazy thor, that patch might be a tough one to get.

    So this Chat has been pretty quiet the last few days so I thought I would throw a topic out for members to think about, discuss, shoot down, or improve on.
    It appears that we have a good variation of users with a range of character builds, I was thinking that we could have some type of Tip Chat section for team-ups that seem to work best for certain Simulator match-ups or Tournaments. Are we able to set Chats to Private or Invite only? Thoughts?
    Very impressed on everyone’s diligence to keep us in the top 20 of all the recent Tournaments, the 1700 HP investment was definitely worth it to jooin this Alliance.

    Private chat would be cool as a concept, perhaps it can be done in some other forum? Although people are discussing tactics and stuff pretty openly, remember that majority of players don't probably even know about this forum. But then again all the top alliances do of course.

    One tip I have is if you have a leveled magnow those otherwise questionable crit boosts become very useful. Oh and ares works pretty well against hood, just collect green so he doesn't steal it.

    In thor I shielded at 766, probably not enough to hold #1 but should be enough hopefully for top 5. I'd rather use patch to start earning xwolw eventually anyway. Keeps the game interesting longer.

    I definitely agree about our alliance, hp earnings went through the roof after I joined icon_e_biggrin.gif

    I was not as patient as you and I shielded at 654 pts #6. Probably not enough for top 10 but I feared the rain of retaliations. Of course, no retaliation in the last 30 - 45 minutes since I shielded. I could have pushed a bit more...

    My Patch is level 102 2/4/4 for now. If you aims to level him, I can say that this a character which is pretty fun to play. Powerful, allows to one-shot an ennemy... or helps the ennemies to storm your entire team! All in all, fast fights icon_lol.gif

    I don't think I would use a private chat personally. But I will try to post more often.

    I found that the PVEs with different buffed characters were a good opportunity to test new strategies and synergies like MNMag purple that feeds classicStorm blue, or IM40 yellow to feed patch red's power that become more powerful as IM40 is stunned.

    Punisher is a strong investment and I like spamming molotovs. I also invest some iso in DD during the current PVE. He is often frustrating because his traps are often useless but when the fight lasts, probabilities to trigger the traps increase and he becomes a real game changer. Fun but highly random.

    Oh and I agree with both of you that the alliance was a good investment, the hp invested is already back... and ***cover rewards are now more frequent icon_cool.gif

    I haven't been around the last few days as i have a project finishing up at work that has consumed a lot of my time. I have no need for patch as i have all the covers, however i tried to help the rest of the alliance get theirs. Currently sitting at number 1 with 832 points.

    As for the simulator, i am just waiting till the points build up so i can strike. Currently sitting with 132K points but i would say i can get another 20K tonight before the next leg ends. It kind of sucks that the tourney ends mid day Monday for me and will be hard to make that late push for points.

    Other than that, the alliance is doing great. HP and ISO keep coming in with everyone's strong efforts. Private chat would be a great addition to the forum but not sure how realistic that is as there would be hundreds if not thousands of private areas to maintain by the MODs.

    I just log onto MPQ to found that I actually was top 10 in Lord of thunder!
    I was only attacked twice this night... two defensive wins for a total of +29pts.
    I guess I would not have stayed in top 10 without these two unexpected wins that led me to 683pts icon_e_surprised.gif

    I could even have saved a shield icon_eek.gif
    ( no remorse, well spent hp)

    With the pve going, I suppose the tournament was not so much disputed.
    Anyways, another positive point about the alliance, is that our posts gave me the motivation to try harder on tournament.

    But the most important is that yielding three covers for Patch (R & G with solo; Y with alliance) brought me icon_arrow.gif my first ***character with full covers!! icon_mrgreen.gif
    Patch is now 3/5/5 and will serve the alliance icon_twisted.gif

    Our alliance has been doing well from everyone hard work! icon_e_biggrin.gif

    To get high score in PVE, have to observe how are the points are being re-generated.
    For this simulation round, the effort has to focus at the last few hours before it ends.
    So many alliance events that end around the same time... so little time.
    You know you are addicted when you start to plan your schedule around the event time. icon_e_wink.gif

    Just watched the Captain America movie. Nice show.
    Hope to get all his cover, especially if his character will be needed for the next event.

    Unfortunately in this last round I'm not going to do well since I don't have the modern Thor cover. icon_e_sad.gif Tried a few HP to get a cover but didn't get lucky. Finished in top 5 of the last round though for the normal event, was pretty happy with that. Was also very happy to get more Patch covers, way to go team! icon_e_smile.gif

    Nice find!
    When I just started playing my game, I used to wonder why my PVE game is harder than others.
    That is when I realised I shouldn't grind a node too many times, and over use of boost to clear the hard level.

    I played the last 30 minutes of the simulator event and I think we finished at rank 33.
    (I didn't checked at the very end though)

    The sub event 4 was the only one that I was able to play at its end and the rubberbanding was crazy high.
    Not sufficient for me to reach top50, I finished #56...

    wow, very tough tournament....

    managed to get 250.000+ in the end and ranked in the top50 with all steve rogers covers icon_e_smile.gif

    Currently I'm more interested by Hulk covers in fearless defenders tournament but we know that Gold Cap' will be required soon in an event.
