    I just threw in another slot (yay yearly bonus time).

    I like private. I have no idea who to recruit, but I feel like active players, even low level ones, are definitely the way to go.

    Also... if we want to share cost, you can buy stuff as a gift in the steam store... in theory anyway.

    Alright! I'm still planning to open one up so that will bring us to 14 (I've got the HP for it reserved already).

    We need to post in the stickied threads up top again. Also, I'm not sure how the apply/approve will work, but I guess we will find out. I thought I read other feedback that there is a way to review applications to your alliance and select from a list. I don't see any option for that now, maybe it only appears when there is actually something to show?

    I think you should choose your own recruit for the slot you've opened, so hopefully no other commanders just start approving people because they're on the application list.

    I'm at 86k in the moment but my productive days are over as i'm lacking BP and Lazy Thor and my 2* roster is struggling with scaling. I will keep playing of course and contribute what i can muster but it won't be as much as before-

    Regarding our Alliance: why not do as anyone else does and let the newest member "buy in" with a new slot. As mentioned before new slots are getting quite expensive and this way we can almost be sure to get active members if it comes with a price.

At least this seems to be what the big alliances do. Or was it that you have to be commander anyway to buy a slot I can't recall that.

    I think that is somewhat the problem. You have to be a commander to buy a slot. Once you're a commander, you can't be kicked.

    I'm not sure if they big boys were doing this all on the honor system, or if there were other creative ways such as the Steam store they were doing.

    PS: I think everyone is starting to hit that brick wall, so don't feel bad.

    I don't think the big ones work on an honor system per se but they will definitly have some member dedicated to recruiting. That one would have to "feel up" new applicants through pms and make a responsible decision. In my opinion only players who are serious will ever reply on a recruiting thread in which is stated there is a significant HP price tag on joining.

    Ok, I see it now. At the bottom of our Alliance list are the applicants with the options to Approve or Dismiss. So we can let Hazel and Tredo approve their picks.

    That's way too much pressure. I wish we could see how many points they have in the events. The applicant/supplicant that is in there now has a decent (not great) team, but that doesn't really mean anything. I'll try to find him/her on the forum and send a PM.

    Hello all,

    New member here. Looks like I am currently accounting for a little over 1/13th of the total score for the simulator event at 100k+. I will do my part to contribute to the group and if I notice I am getting overwhelmed by outside factors I will disband from the group. Thanks for accepting me and I look forward to having a good time. May all your days' be filled with rainbows and dragons... ... in other words have a happy day.

    I think it's time for me to open my slot now. We're about 150 ranked in the Thor tourney. I'd like to get top 100 in that as I need a Patch yellow!!

    Just added SSGMonty. He and his 140,000 Simulator points boosted us up. Just need one more. I'll think about dropping some cash to get another slot after the weekend. I don't get my bonus until Monday...

    Patrick, data analyst for a call center in Austin. No kids but live with my girlfriend. I'm a big comics nerd and play Warhammer 40k when time allows for fun with toy soldiers.

    Also a big fan of Phish, Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly, but I will give most anything a shot. Google Play doesn't really know what to make of my listening habbits as Ill go from Kendrick Lamar to Macklemore to Les Miserables to the Clash to Phish to Clapton playing live blues.

    They certainly keep us on our toes, but we love 'em. We have a beagle-lab mix. Not even sure this breed would have made any list of preferable breeds. I promised the oldest a dog for one of her achievements. Then the neighbor comes across this dog and hands it over to us. What can you do, right? He is a strange one. Looks like a mini-lab, but wants to hunt like the beagle and barks like one. His comprehension genes are completely absent.

    What's the user name for your recruit. We should make sure we approve him instead of someone else.
