    Just a heads up, Plik and I are going away during summer. At least no overlap with Sockid icon_razz.gif

    May 26th - 29th: No internet
    May 30th - July 21st: Our time zone will be off so we may not be able to play optimally during that time.
    July 22nd - Aug 1st: Not certain, but we are moving so internet may not be set up yet during that time >_<

    I was a little worried since we'll both be away. Hopefully the more relaxed members will pick up the slack since they've been taking it easy for a while. Except...... I'm not sure if they even check the forums or read alliance chat. The usual people who are active around chat/ forum are the ones who've acknowledged they've received my pm.

    Thanks for the heads up! Chimaera, do you want to update the main page? Is it even worth it? We should be able to tread water through the summer...hopefully they don't release some crazy Alliance event during your absence!

    Speaking of vacations, I'll be out of town from June 22nd to June 26th, and also July 23rd to July 28th (which overlaps with Plik and Miucat's move). I will be able to play but am not sure how much.

    It was a guy who was shielded but visible last pvp tournament so directly responsible from the point abuse though not his fault. Certain people/alliances exploited that glitch and now have an insurmountable lead by basically having 1k more points than most people each. Basically ruined any semblance of a fair and balanced race in season 1.

    Vacations added to main page, I'm sure ill forget. Left off the time zone, optimal play is whatever :p

    Hopefully the couple of relaxed peeps will step up, if we start to fall below the alliance reward range we will have to do something. I did get a few pm's inquiring for spots by forum members but that was during our peak top 5 every tourney streak. Can always ask if they are still interested if it comes down to it. And someone in chat over a week ago mentioned they had someone else who wanted a good alliance.

    Mostly just bumping the thread, so not much else to say. Except I am so tired of fighting Punisher - Thor (2*) - OBW teams in the Punisher event. I'd almost swear my MMR is stuck in 2* player land.

    If you see me you can attack me then for a change. Punisher - Thor (3*) at level 85 and OBW. Hits just a little harder icon_e_smile.gif.

    icon_razz.gif If I bring Hood and OBW to the fight, it won't matter because he'll never get off those hits.

    I actually did find a team with another 3* besides Punisher, though. Level 90 IM40.

    I would say Hood, but you need more covers for him before he'd be effective. Maybe go for a high health team? Pair him with Hulk, maybe BP, too, once you get more covers for him, and that's a lot of health to work through for an opponent. I think that Thor and Psylocke might work well together, too. I really like GSBW but she's horrible on defense.

    Between Psylock and punpun, you could probably pick one to go with fat Thor. They have similar HP and both have cheap attacks that complement slow **** Thor, plus they are versatile enough to go with other team.

    When you are done with your push, toss in that fat hulk . Max hulk is still freaking scary when I bring out my wimpies like OBW and hood. Was having fun trying them out in the punisher tournament yesterday even though I'm still waiting to max out hood's yellow

    Need some help from all the gurus here. My roster is finally starting to come into its own, I think. Who should I pour ISO into going forward, what would you suggest I should take into fights? Typically, I tend to run Hulk/Punisher/OBW when free to pick anyone.

    I have a bunch more, but they're all level 50 or less, with some not having enough covers to be viable yet, but usable when PvE events call for them. In some cases, I may have applied a cover or two intentionally to some characters (GSBW for example), so I'm less restricted in leveling them, as I can always respec when the right cover comes up. I'd appreciate suggestions in where to concentrate, particularly so I can last a little longer and move up higher in PvP.

    Punisher of course...for someone that is a loner he sure is friendly in this game. You already have the ideal build for him as well. My appreciation for everyone else's Magneto's makes me wish mine was better. Taking him to his soft cap may not be a bad idea. We keep hearing about these nerfs, but have no idea when they're coming. I initially feared maxing out Spiderman, but that was 2 months ago...

    I agree, level Punisher. He really does work ridiculously well with a lot of characters, and Punisher + OBW + third character is a very popular choice for good reasons. Other than him, I'd say hold off and maybe just toss a few levels into characters when they're buffed in events.

    Usually Punisher/LazyCap is my go-to team, I'm a little nervous about Loki tournament though - seems like that'll be more attractive to the 2* zombie hordes than usual since loki can steal strike tiles and shuffle countdowns to matchable places

    I've been trying to level up a diverse roster, although I'll probably focus on getting a core team to 120 soon. I'm looking at

    102 Punisher
    102 LazyCap
    102 Doctor Doom
    102 GSBW
    92 LazyThor (only 4 in Yellow)

    I'm trying to decide my best bet in Loki. LazyCap+LazyThor? Or should I just bite the bullet and go with an OBW team?

    An OBW team sounds decent to be honest. Lazy Thor and Lazy Cap both have such expensive abilities that I don't find them too scary on defence, esp if I have an AP steal on my team.

    Not sure how many of the zombie hoarde would have Loki covers and levelled, I'm tempted to just use Patch. We'll see how well that goes when I push up tomorrow :p

    The AI will use Loki's purple than save for recon so be aware that you will probably win no defenses if you use OBW.
