    I assume we could use the green Torch at least? I also got one usable three star which is kinda hard for my roster but that is what I expect from 10 tokens. Remember we got like 4 every 2 days from the hulk event and those were just as bad.

    Miucat, this game keeps wanting me to attack you. You came up for me in the Loki event and you just came up for me in the Doom event. Though even if we weren't in the same alliance I'd skip you. Max lazyThor and Panther, yeah, that's a skip.

    I didn't see you though. I still have some fear of hitting our own alliance guys by accident because sometimes I'm mindlessly grinding and I don't even look at the name. I did skip Chimaera a few times in Loki but he has obviously been elevated to the 'priviledged' mmr of only 141s.

    I mostly remember to glance at the names before I click fight, but yeah, sometimes I'm just pushing and just look at the points.

    I'm still mostly seeing max 2* teams (i.e. Thor + OBW), with the occasional OBW - max 3* team and the rarer max 3* teams. I fought a max Patch - Spiderman last night that was honestly, much easier to deal with than some of the other OBW teams.

    These brackets are getting alot tougher. I've made it into the top 50 a couple times but by the time I look at the score I get a notification that I just lost 2 or 3 fights and get knocked back down by 15-45 points.

    Yeah, they are. I'm in 8th place right now and am reconsidering going for more points. There seems to be a real feeding frenzy going on right now... might be safer just to stay shielded and hope for the best.

    PVP has me worried moving forward...I've had a nice little thing going with the past few events. But this influx of points may force me to alter my strategy.

    Falcon is 1-3-4 at level 30, that's not an ideal cover situation but will have to do. I have patch at 3-4-4 so a top 10 finish is pretty much a must for me in this event. Then I'll need to respec him as I don't want 5 in his red.

    I was missing Patch red covers for a long time. Had max green and yellow, but no red. Recently got a couple of red covers from lucky token pulls, so with this event, I'll have a fully covered Patch.

    Then I'll need to decide if I want to respec him (and how to respec him) the next time any red covers come along. I'm not sure what I want to do. I've kind of gotten used to not using his red and having lots of strike tiles out on the board. Though a lot of it will depend on what they do to cMags and Spidey.

    I've used his red to varying results. Most of the time I have a character with a more powerful red so patch has limited tiles out. I assume that may change if I took him to 141.

    I hate trying to type on my phone!

    I've pretty much given up on buying the packs. If you noticed the wording now, it's "increased chance" or "better chance" of the *** or the "*** of the day." There appear to be no more guarantees of getting at least one ****. icon_e_sad.gif

    When I decide to treat myself, I just use the HP I buy to raise the covers of the *** I wish to power up. At least that way, I know I'm getting the improvement I need. The way I see it, if I buy the Logan's Loonies, for example, added to any HP stock I have, I generally can "buy" three *** covers for my characters that need it. If I bought a 10-pack, I'd be lucky to get three *** covers. (Which in recent history, I wasn't.)

    Right now I am just saving my HP for the slots for Invisible woman if I get lucky enough to get her, Daken 3* and for Nick Fury for when he becomes avaialble. They are the only chars I dont have yet. Still have not felt the need to buy specific skills or tokens since I have used all the HP I have earned from rewards on either opening slots or shielding up in an event. I havent wanted to level up my 3 stars because in events like the simulator when you need essential chars they seem to be scaled at the level that the essential hero is. So normally the essential fights are the easiest fights for me and give the most reward. Thats why I have decided to level up all my 2 stars before spending lots of iso's into my 3*. Also as I collect 3* covers it makes it easier for me to decide on how to level them up. I will be leveling up the ones I actually have covers for first.

    Bumping...

    Alucard, that's a good plan. Shields are cheaper ways to get covers than outright purchasing them (assuming you don't get a bracket of death) and having some extra roster slots is always good idea. I have bought a couple of covers in the past, but they've been 'key' covers that make a huge difference for the character, like GSBW's fifth green.

    I wanted to revisit the discussion on Patch...I now have max covers for him but have not applied them. His current build is 3-4-5 and I have one green and one red cover to apply. I'm having trouble deciding which way to go though. 4-4-5 or 3-5-5, I'm just not sure. So, input is appreciated.
