I agree with keeping a certain amount of iso in reserve to give an extra bump to boosted characters during events. However, if you can improve your 'A team' significantly, that might be worth it too. For example, I think it would be a fine idea to pump another 8-10 levels into your fully covered Punisher. At 102 he's good, at 110, he's even better. At 120+, he'll start to feel like a real 3star.

For anyone sitting on Recruit or Heroic tokens, the new patch added Black Panther (Man Without Fear), Psylocke (Classic), and Thor (Modern) to Standard and Heroic Comic Packs. I've been waiting for this day and am about to open 73 recruits and 9 heroics. Hopefully I get some good stuff.

So, from those 82 packs, I received the following useful pulls : green Rags, green GSBW (my 2nd ever, first one also came today from day 105 reward, weird timing!), and a single 25hp. Unfortunately, no BP, Psylocke, or Lazythor. In total I received 5 3stars, the green Rags and green GSBW, along with unusable purple Mags, green Punisher, and blue Daredevil. The extra many thousands of iso is nice too. Also worth noting that this took a long time and it was kinda weird to see that I have 82 rewards to claim.

I'd send it to you if I could. It would be nice if they would build in that ability within alliances. I understand not doing it for the masses, but perhaps within alliances would be acceptable.

I know, i have such luck getting hulk covers and i know lots of people are hurting for some of those ,i have sold maybe 7 or 8 of them, at the same time i can't get any pink mags, or black psylocke or hood or blue widow

3rd in LoT on 632, shielded up now as that should be enough for a top 10 finish. I only have 4 Hood covers so I won't be competing as hard in the next pvp.

3/5/5 is more stable and interesting to build around, I feel - the green is best used as a mop-up skill for when that extra ~1700 damage + 400 from the subsequent match will finish off an opponent. The red meanwhile, hits HARD - if you can manage a team where Patch is getting all 3 of his colors, it's always an instakill by the time you can use it. I am at 5/3/5 with Patch at level 141 and find it amazing, but am considering moving to 3/5/5 for the longer term. Right now, with Spidey, as long as you keep the team stunned you can do incredible amounts of damage quickly, turn after turn. Berserker in 5 also makes AOE attacks truly badass, such as a Punisher or BP black. But once the ability to stun for 2ap goes away, 5 in green will be a little scary. It's worth noting though, that Patch at 141 and Spidey at 100 (so Patch covers his yellow), have carried me to top spots in the Simulator against walls of 230 enemies, and it can't really get much harder than that. Perhaps it would have been easier with a 3/5/5 Patch, but I really have been loving the tactics that are required with Berserker Rage (and then made easier with Spidey cheese).

It's a shame that I might have to sit at 4/4/5 for a little bit but I'm not willing to buy another red with hp. Hopefully the Hood tournament on the back of the Thor tourney is giving away Patch too so I can make the full transition.

Wow, awesome job. If you have the hp it might be worth the shield as you're in great shape to get the 4star Wolvie. Eventually those 4stars are going to be worth it and you spent a lot of time gaining that 300+ point lead.

And to everyone else, the new Hood Tournament is giving away Black Panther covers. I'm sure most of us could use 3 of those. Same 2-50 second tier rewards for alliances, so we'll all get the yellow I'm sure.

I play him with either spiderman or IM40,depending on the enemy, one helps me get rid of the purple enemy tiles and the other one feeds him red, that's why I'm having a hard time deciding

I've got Patch at 3/5/5 and it works great for me. Usually pair him with C.Mags and Hood. Can pretty much use the green whenever and then just clean up the enemy strike tiles with Mags blue. Next to work up for me will be Panther(currently at 85). Patch, Mags and Panther seems like a really scary team to me as any of the three can cause so much damage (Patch and Mags insta kill one character, or panthers huge AOE damage).

That's crazy awesome. I've never gotten to hit 1000 before closest was in mid 900s.
MMR just toss a bunch of 141s at my team that's barely lv 100 once I get to around 700 points.

Currently top 5 in my bracket with mid 600s. Going to hit it hard later on and get either a 8hr or 3hr shield.
Will probably end up doing the 8 hr shield and focus last few hours on the PvE subs.
Sitting around rank 15 for both subs atm, should be able to get top 10 or top 5 for both if not a bit better.

Edit: just pushed to 926 and shielded at #1. Not much lead with only 13 points but enemies are worth too little points now ...

Overall i'm going to have around 15k iso and all of it is going into patches, getting closer to my 141

Waiting for rewards is my favorite part of the game. I got top 5 in both subs, and am 4 overall with 167617 points. I was also able to get up to 800 on the Thor tourney which somehow was good enough for first place, and will give me my 2nd green wolvie.

Great job guys on the alliance rewards too. I'm pretty sure we were top 25 in the easy sub and top 10 in the hard sub and also top 10 in Thor tourney. In general, as long as we're in the "hp tiers" of rewards, I think we've done our job.

Sitting at a bit more than 160k and finished so far 4-3-1 main easy hard.

Third place in lazy thor pvp with 926, two guys were going at it real hard.

Finished 76-100 in easy sim, 2nd in hard sim and I'm 145th in overall sim. I want to finish top 5 in overall sim when it ends in two days, but dont really want to farm the easy one too much cause it takes too much time. The hard one doesn't take as long so I get score well in it.

Also finished 1st in the thor event without having to use a shield.

Got tons of hp tonight with all that.

4,1,1 for me at 162778 - all trash rewards, but it was like an Iso fountain. This last round is going to be tough, my Thor isn't so good.
