Tank in lightning rounds. It's what a lot of people do. Push to 100/200 points purely off bots, then swap in tank team to beat on the last bot.

didn't the top 100 get the black hulk? I think if we don't finish 50th we only miss on 50hp. Could be wrong tho. 50hp is a great reward tho, best not to miss it.

I haven't been posting much as I've been slammed at work, but I'm still playing heavily. I want the Torch. Also, I like the pace of the new PvE this round as it is not as crazy (and with lots of mooks and good buffed characters). I want more Lazy Cap covers so I'm going to be fighting hard in the Wolvie tournament despite the fact that I don't have a crazy-good Patch (I'm pumping iso into him though).

I just finished top 5 today for the hulk rewards with around mid 800s.

Past two days I haven't had much time for the PvE and sitting around rank 170 for it close to 10k, and will put a bit of time into it today.

With my exams coming up in a week and half, I'm probably going to have much less play time in the next week or two.

I do still plan on finishing somewhere top 50 for it to get all covers, but I probably won't be able to push nearly as hard for this event despite my desire for HTorch.
I'll still put a bit more focus on the pvp (still planning top 5 or top 10 for it) since that's less time consuming than pve.

After my exams are done, I'm jumping right back on top of things, just a **** load of work right now.

Still playing although I'd like the three HT covers, I'm really disliking this PvE. Seem to be getting my timings wrong for maximising points in this one, we'll see how it goes. I'm plugging away at the Wolvie Tourney, hope to get a decent amount of points.

The r50 update should make competing easier to coordinate and manage.

Same here, I'm hitting the nods whenever I get a chance during the day and at night when I get home, not timing anything this time, went to bed being 1st on my bracket and woke up in the 70's; the wolvie tourney I'm going to hit up tonight, I usually enter with a day left and do the 3 hour shield thing, that's always good to get a top 10 placement

Finding the PvE pretty easy going this time. I am doing each node once at night, then re-doing the higher point nodes a couple of times just before the refresh in the morning. Sitting at 2nd currently with a little over 17k, hopefully the points ramp up in a big way soon, would like the Cap covers before his PvP event.

Will be starting the Patch PvP this evening, going to try for 1st to get the green IW, but we'll see what sort of bracket I end up in.

Started the Wolverine PvP... Just have to say that a boosted level 281 Patch is ridiculous. Heals for 729/turn and has 11400 HP.

We've been knocked down to 61! Seems like a lot of people are taking this event easy. I don't blame ya. The only reason I'm sitting in the top 10 right now is because work is super slow. Gonna push for some more Lazy Cap covers too. Happy to see they made Red a little easier to obtain.

I've been out of town in meetings all week and only able to squeeze in a few rounds (i.e., one clear) every night. I was almost zero help on Heroic Defenders, but I'm firing on Wolverine. Starting to level Patch and realizing I love his red but don't much care for his green. The new PvE is nice, slow, and a good change of pace, especially for those of us a bit burned out. The Simulator is great, but requires a LOT of time.

I wouldn't start fretting about our PvP ranking until the last 3 hours, I'm only at ~300 points and just going to make a big long push tonight, really hoping I can shoot for top 5, I waited a bit before joining my bracket but it's somehow still competitive - a good number of 141 Patch characters that I can spot in the top 10. I have a 141 Patch / 141 Hood / 138 Magneto, so hopefully I can edge them out.

That's the team that I'm looking to run, patches is already at 141, magneto is at 102 and getting all my iso at the moment, and hood is in the 30's due to the lack of covers .......I want to run those 3 with punisher or black panther as substitutes

Yeah, I have none. My highest characters are lvl 115 Patch and Punisher. Yet I'm seeing nothing but lvl 120's and up.

One tip about patch. His Green can be a killer for both teams. But, wait until you see at least one possible pink match then unleash his green. Make the match and then you'll be in the advantage. Pair that with OBW's black and you'll be dealing out 1k damage each match!

Patched buffed in this tourney is nuts. His red (granted he's the most powerful person on your team) is dishing out 6K+!!!

I went a little crazy last week during the sale lol spent some money and now have patches 120 mags 102 and panther at 100. That team is BEAST! All colors are active. OBW is beast as well. Currently grinding to 1st in the PVE every night before bed and currently sitting at 22k. Grinding to top 10 in the wolverine tourney shouldn't be an issue either.

I'm running him with magneto and either spiderman or punisher at the moment, I unleash patches green as soon as I have 5 blues for magneto, doing a ton of damage that way, cascading them to valhalla

He actually matches 4 colors on my current team, given Magneto's lack of purple love. It's pretty juicy.
