I think the 500s is super.
I don't think it's worth it for you to get the 24hr shield.
I think it's more economical for this one to get an 8hr shield if not a 3hr, unless you are aiming for the #1 for blue IW.
Either way I'm pretty sure we'll get the yellow hood no matter what.

My bracket's leader is only in the 300s and I'm not too far behind.
Been progressing slow at this one though since no healing 1*s, so I have to take my time to heal in prologue.
I'll hammer it some more when I get back home (also registered for the other board today too).

Event ends at 11am local time for me. 8 hour shield means plug it between 3am and 8am, so not going to happen. Would have done a 12 hour shield if possible. Been hit with five retaliations since shielded so saved me a bunch. Not too interested in the IW given the end time, but want to make sure I hit top 10 to get the blue Hood. Would have probably paid for the blue Hood for 1250 HP so I don't think it was too bad.

So how's everybody doing in the simulator so far
I'm at 100,100 points, I'm going to try to hit the higher nodes with an hour left but it's going to be hard to do it at work, not that i care about the simularot tokens since they're giving covers that I don't need, but I do like to get as much iso as I can

I'm sitting at a measly 85k but I'll make a final push in a few hours to get the max rubberbanding. Not really liking this event, scaling mixed with the goons feeding overpowered heroes AP make for really long and boring battles.

I'm at 104,122. I'll be at work but I can probably squeeze up a bit more in each of the simulators. Will try for top 5 but am not sure if that's going to happen. I think I'm due a refresh in an hour so I should be at maximum chance though.

I even have spiderman. I wasn't paying attention once and didn't stun thor when he had enough green to cast his ability ... The other time I thought I would just make it through his green ability

Sitting at 103994 - I think I managed a top 2 in both brackets, but we'll see what happens when the prizes come through. I've been trying not to use spiderman and obw which has really helped keep the scaling down.

I was pretty fortunate to be restoring a database at work today, means I'm watching a progress bar for hours on end, gave me an opportunity to do all this grinding during work. Played from ~9 to 12, with a 20 minute meeting during that, managed to get top 2 in hard mode and top 5 in normal (I think, could've been bumped out at the end, rewards aren't out yet). Sitting at 105964.

Didn't even finish one match of lone star, sorry folks for being a mooch on that. I did try at the very end but ran out of time.

EDIT: Yeah, top 2 / top 5. Will open tokens shortly (want to show my co-worker who also plays), won't bother posting immediately if it's trash.

I was able to grind a bit at the end and ended up winning my hard bracket. Not sure if I broke the top ten in the easy bracket as the Edwards haven't come in for that round. Scored a top 50 in lone star without much grinding. Sitting at 105k right now.

What are everyone's thought on the lazy Thor tourney? I only need a red patch to finish him off but don't know if I want to spend the time grinding there or in PvE.

My thoughts are pbbbbtttttt. Already have Patch at 3/5/5, back when they were literally puking out covers for him in the daily Thick as Thieves sub-bracket. All 3 covers for first place. I was hoping for BP, Psylocke, Hulk, GSBW, or Lazythor.

My patch is 0/4/4 and really needs covers, I'll place as high as I can in the event.

I fell out of the top 10 in both events (having a job sucks), so I only got two tokens, both trash (Astonishing Wolvies).

During the Patch puking last time I was really busy at work and wasn't able to get many, if any. Patch has since grown to 2/4/2, but still has a ways to go. My 0/2/4 Thor is maxed at level 64 so I should rip through the tournament without much trouble to get top 10.

Ended up 1st in the hard sub and 20 something in the easy one, was sitting at 4th overall last I checked with 109k points, with my 4 tokens I got another bullseye, another 2 wolvies and a red ares which I actually needed, my ares is now at lvl 71
As for the Thor tourney I'm going to grind as hard as I can ,I only need I more cover for patches, either green or red so I can get him to 141

Dropped to top 5 in the easy bracket and top 2 in the hard... all trash rewards (2 x purple hawkeye, red & yellow ares, black bullseye). Hopefully get lucky with the next brackets, could really use some Lazy Thor and Panther.

For Lone Star I was in the top 5 around 600 points and I'm now fully covered on Hood, and I'm very much looking forward to giving him some iso and seeing how he fares. I did break shield at the very last moment as 1st was theoretically in play, but during the time I won 25 points I apparently lost 19, so I was unable to get my first IW blue. I just passed day 105 and got my first green GSBW, so other than 1star Venom and Hawkeye (both of whom I've decided do not deserve roster slots), Xforce Yellow and IW blue are now the only covers I'm missing. We could really use a tournament for GSBW and Hulk.

For Simulator, I ended up with 108743 points and top 5 in both subs. From the 4 tokens, I got a black Hood and blue BP, which would normally be great, but unfortunately I didn't 'need' either of them. I already have BP at 3 blue, so while I might apply it so I can level him up some more, I think the best build is probably 5/3/5. So, I'm a tad disappointed that I pulled 2 3stars from 4 tokens and didn't get anything truly useful. womp womp.

Between all the PvP, subs, and alliance rewards, I think I've gained 1000hp in an extremely short period of time. I haven't counted the iso, but that's been great too.

Ugh had classes for its end time.
Fell to rank 10 - 20s for both subs by the end. Ended previous subs with total of 103k.
Good news is I got a red Psylocke from one of the tokens.
Considering I've got no 3* for the past 7 highly trained I pulled, I think I was bound to get one with these two lol.
1* event got top 10 (fell out top 5 last few mins). The yellow from the alliance finally max covered my hood.

Debating between pumping iso into one of my >100 lv cap 3*s... my 2/5/3 Patch, Max covered hood, 4/3/4 Psylocke, or 3/4/4 cMag
I know mag is due for funbalance but with spidey and pun I see him fitting in best at this point with my pun and spidey at lv 100.

I also have a IM40 5/3/3 which I don't see the point in lvling right now, and a 2/3/3 lazy thor which I don't feel covered enough (lv cap 77).
Any suggestions?

Personally I'm keeping my iso for events. After the cap pve event we'll probably have a cap pvp one, and pumping him then will probably give me an edge to win it and get a 4*.
