    hey guys, HEROIC OSCORP is here. Reward is lazy daken. Event ends on 15th may noon time.

    I took the dive to join early (along with aeijei,shadow,kcwei and kensterr) in order to understand better the new mechanic, hopefully it's gonna be useful for you guys.

    There are new mechanic in this PvE which has caught us off guard.

    Few important things to note:
    • The nodes in the main bracket are single-round nodes. Clear the first 4 nodes and unlock new sub: Heroics City.
    • Heroic City contains 9 nodes: 3 essential, 2 goon, 4 Dark Avengers.
    • The highest level i saw was level 70.
    • Heroic City sub will end when the global progress meter is filled. The speed is 10Million/hour, subs end when we reach 400M (it was 200M this morning but the dev did a (1st)ninja fix and make it 400M because it's filling too fast)
    • Point per node has fallen to rock bottom, worth less than 50% compared to what it has been in the first place, 2nd ninja fix for this Heroic.

    What iceIX said about this event:
    • Community Scaling will reset after each subs, but personal scaling don't
    • If dev thinks that the progress meter is filled slowly than they expected, they may up (ninja fix again!!) the points for each node.

    Summary:
    What the dev is trying to do this time is to deter us to play only in the last 2-3 hours before sub's ending times. We are forced to look at the global meter every minute and every hour icon_e_sad.gif . This can be daunting for some of us trying to manage our time with work and such.

    I'll update the post with more strategy that comes up to our attention later.

    EDIT: for those who haven't joined. It's kinda good news for you as your points doesn't get screwed up midway. The best time to join i'd say will be when the global progress meter has reached 200M (for 2 round clear)and/or 370M(to take full advantage of rubber banding, high stakes strategy). It is still unclear whether there are point refresh at this point.

    Edited: Looks like there might not be a reset... ICEIX was waiting for the designer and programmer to discuss about the best solution. Anyway looks like those who joined late just have to bend over. icon_e_sad.gif

    BTW... should I collect OBW covers and make a second OBW? Since ** covers are more frequent from LR and any versus events. icon_razz.gif

    Devs didn't do anything regarding the Oscorp points but rather changed the rewards structure. Have a look... means they want people going after the rewards to grind after the new main nodes open up.

    So we have 7 days left for Season 1 and the progress so far has been fantastic. Thanks to our super ON and dedicated members! icon_e_biggrin.gif.
    I presume there will be 2 more pvp after God of Lies before the end of season 1.

    I also have been looking at everyone's roster (and comparing them to what each of you have when lao and max joined) and frankly i'm surprised by how far u guys have improved.
    Great job guys!

    I know some of us including me are falling behind in heroic oscorp. Well, lets just have some faith in the rubberbanding as fangel said.
    and please don't worry too much if we can't finish top 30. We can always do better in PvP later on. Surely the next few PvP will have him as a reward.

    and one more thing guys, Mc is a lady =) and a friend of kcwei. She plays daily but not as active as some of us here.

    Ya.. Mc and myself came from cutie alliance... Long story. What i can say is, pucco handle A-force really well. I know because i am a failure leader before this. icon_e_confused.gif

    I think Pucco recognize me because i am kept attacking him in villian lighning round last time. Haha

    hey guys, my mpq gone haywire right after i updated to r53. anyone else experience this?

    can't load up the alliance chat and page, cant connect to server too.

    Best guess: They screwed up the server while updating it
    Worst guess: Someone got really pissed at D3P and DDOSed MPQ server

    Also having problem connecting via Steam and Android. R53 is not available on Google Play

    Congratulations guys!

    We are ranked #6 in Season 1. Thank you soo very much for all of you guys who've made this possible! icon_e_biggrin.gif

    And as expected, Season 2 has begun. icon_eek.gif (more shocking thing is they increase the slot price to 600 hp from 25 slots onwards)
    Same structure, same rewards (except it's blue nick fury this time), thus same expectation, aiming top 100 for blue nick fury cover.

    We already know that some of us will be taking it easier this season. As you all should icon_e_smile.gif

    As for me, i will play as usual, trying to score 1000 pts/pvp, maintaining top 50 standing for A-Force.

    On a side note, i recommend all of you to watch X-men: Days of Future Past for some good entertainment icon_e_wink.gif
