Also, there are some characters that are missing polls entirely. I agree that these are super helpful at a glance, so if they all add updated polls, I'd gladly vote

I think many of the characters need the threads started over, polls and all. With all the new character releases, the teams people are using now are not the same as when some of these threads started.

It would be so much more helpful to see fresh new conversations with the current abilities and teams people are using.

agreed, hate to sell covers for chars i dont use because the old build is the one i have as well as the polls but the new ideal build is different.

What I do when looking at best builds is look at the poll, then go to the last page of discussion to see the most current conversation about the character. Sure would be nice to just have a new poll though.

Almost all of them have no defined end date, which allows you to change your vote at any time. Of course that means nothing if 5/5/3 XF has 250 votes from people who aren't returning to the forums.

I always assumed the polls were updated when the older version was created. Although I guess that's why I could never find the "previous poll results."

Would be easier for everyone if there was a way to search subforums. Then you could open the search, type in what you are looking for and the thread or posts would appear.

Just wondering if those that have the power, could perhaps add what the boost stats are for characters, as a little addendum, would help lots of players to see what a character boosted can do, as well as help decide some tough build decisions, just a though.

As it becomes increasingly difficult to find a specific character on the forum, I thought that a character index would be a very useful tool to everyone.

Let me know if you find some mistakes in the links or if some characters are missing, otherwise I will keep the list updated as new characters are released.

I did not realise that the Characters and Skills Compendium also includes quick links to the character discussion threads.

So, if like me you did not know that & were tired of scrolling to search for specific characters, you can also use the Characters and Skills Compendium

I have been doing some (mostly behind the scenes) work (some of which every eager eyed people might be able to see with most of the 1*s and about half of the 2*s) and a list much like this was on the agenda to do.

Also (sorry, if stupid question) but are character boosts consistent for each character and each event always?

The other main thing is that much of this info would have to come from Ice.

I actually thought someone was putting this together already, but I don't see the thread now.

It would probably be easier to do a 350/290/240 Thread, rather than add to all of the specific pages. One stop shop, and would help avoid some confusion with quadruple or quintuple listings for each skill.

If we are going to add content to the character pages, can we also add a compatibility/incompatibility list for each as well to make the page more of a one stop shop instead of having to search multiple areas for each character?

Wouldn't mind a "works good/bad against" list too, but that may be too much info that not many people may want.

I'm trying to think of cases where seeing the boost stats would lead me to a different build decision than the unboosted stats. All I can think of would be something like CM and Hulk, where their passives are harder to trigger, but I still can't see anyone not wanting 5 yellow / 5 black, respectively.

At least in our chat, Cyclops is a good example when people are discussing how to build his yellow. The extra two red is nice, but when you look at his boosted red and black, it's hard to pass up that damage.

Cage would be another case since a boosted 3 red is close to/better than unboosted 5 and the extra covers would add the stun to his black.

As mentioned, Cyclops is a good one, Doom is another. I personally wouldn't change their builds, but others might.

Rags is one where I'm looking at his green at 290 and thinking maybe it's not a bad idea, but unboosted it's terrible.

Gamora is one I did change, went from 5/5/3 to 5/3/5 because her black is way stronger when she's boosted.
