Yep, with the latest update the logo changes with rarity.0 -

Basically, once your reward is rolled, it'll reflect what you're about to get with the logo. It's already decided you're getting a 3-star reward before the graphic even shows up.
Congrats on blue spidey.0 -
I received my very first Invisible Women from a Heroic, and the 'reward box' was sort of jiggling around - nice touch.0

Any update on 200th?
I'm at 57th at 231.9k and still super paranoid, and will be until I know its locked up. I need to boost heavily to make points now and still usually lose a minimum of 1 character if I win at all.
edit point total0 -
If you're at 57 and play mostly optimally you're probably safe.0

How has people's luck been with collecting Standard Recruit Tokens from the various nodes?
I seem to have fallen into a 'collect the boosts' and 'collect 20 ISO' pattern that just won't quit and I really kind of need those tokens.
Should I just keep grinding until I get them?0 -
Thanks Dreylin for combo info. Thanks!!!0

Nah. Plenty of Standard Tokens come in every week from Lightning Rounds. If you do not need the points then do not waste your time.0 -
Fighting the level 230 Juggernaut (~19.000 HP) with mStorm+Thor+oBW is as much fun as pulling teeth... and yet at least I get to do anything since if it was not for the desert I would not even be able to touch those nodes :S
What is waiting for us in 3 hours? More desert?0 -

Those LR are life savers. I usually just get 100 points with a 115 lvl Ragnarok then tank. Usually those bots u get at the start are enough to reach 100.0 -
I'm at about 700th place at about 196k points. I'm hoping to stay in the top 1000; I've only been able to do three missions this time (the two BP ones and the easiest Easy one). My highest leveled guy is 76th and I don't think I have any other missions less than about 160th level. I ground down the easy BP on to 1, and might do the hard one one more time (I think I've done it 4 times) but I"m starting to run really low on boosts and don't want to completely run out.
The last couple days of this have been one of the most tedious experiences I've ever had in a game. It's not remotely fun. If I was stuck in a lower band with no hope of getting up to the next, I"d have just stopped playing it entirely by now. I'm getting no enjoyment, no satisfaction, no sense of accomplishment. It's just the sunk cost fallacy in action; I don't want all this tedium to have been for naught. If this game continues to use this system I may just stop playing it. The occasional very challenging mission can be fun, but "m getting nothing but them, and that's just not the game I want to play. If that's the game that you're going to insist on this being, I think I'm going to have to find something else to play. I'm just not getting any enjoyment out of this.0 -
I have done ONE mission in 2 days. Just couldnt do anymore without breaking down into boredom and tears lol i check on it occasionally to make sure im still in the top 1000 for my covers. i was in the top 200 but have dropped to 350 so i think i am pretty safe by now with a day to go.0

Hoping the last 4 missions are non-repeatable 230s like they were before.
Beating those with a 60 5/3/3 Spidey, 85 2** Wolvie and 50 Punisher was haard. Can't wait to just tear through them like three wet paper bag...men
...On second thought, there wasn't an Ares then. ****. NON-REPEATABLE STILL PLS0 -

They were always repeatable but only gave points once, though that's effectively the same thing to most people.0 -
At exactly 226000 points and in 127th place with 55 minutes to go in the subs. I came up from 230ish when I made my move with around 3.5 hours left to go. I'm just about out of good points left and I'm crossing my fingers that this tournament will basically be over after the subs.0

You and me both, mate. I'm teetering on the brink of giving up because I'm just not having fun anymore. The high level DA missions this time around were the last straw; stun-locking is quite possibly the most boring way to play a game that I have ever encountered. But you have to do it, or you just can't win the fights.
This game is broken and it's so very sad. I still get a kick out of levelling my guys because I'm a fanboy from way back, and I'm still kind of enjoying PVP, but I don't want that to be the whole experience. It's Marvel, it deserves great PVE; and while this scaling and rehashing the same fights over and over again is going on, it's just not getting it.
I had so much fun in the prologue, and I have NO IDEA why they're not looking at doing more chapters like that any time soon. It doesn't make sense to me. This competitive PVE structure is sucking the life out of everything.0 -

Indeed, just breached 49th with 237k and I can probably win more but I need to triple boost to beat anything. Fighting x3 222's strait up no stunlock or combo is tenuous. I don't want to do this anymore.
Its only like 10pm but i really want to go to sleep, I get up at 6am. Have to find out the status of this event and whether the nodes are repeatable and whether I should do them now or wait -.- If they are randomly repeatable I need to get some kind of a refresh in before probably rage inducing sleep from wiping out on 230's.0 -

+1 here as well.
Today has been highly frustrating as well. Struggled to clear each mission in each sub once when they first opened last night, went to bed, woke up in the morning, struggled to win once against the BP missions as everything else was beyond deadly. Went out for the day. Couldn't beat anything tonight via normal means. Just broke down and cleared a single mission once with MStorm + Thor, and said 'F... this. I am not doing this again all night like in the Simulator'.
Trying to stay awake 40 more minutes for the opening of the last round, but probably going to lose. Basing an educated guess based upon the level of "Osborn's New Scheme" as a proxy, if I go to bed, the nodes will be leveled beyond unplayable by the time I wake up in the morning short of using one of the three ways to achieve a near infinite stunlock.
This issue really needs to be fixed ASAP.
Playing characters I WANT to play and level up, even if highly suboptimal for an encounter is fun and generates enjoyment of the game.
Playing character I HAVE to play to win ANY encounter because of broken mechanics is NOT fun and is WORK.
People do not operate games to perform work. The feedback loop of requiring broken mechanics to win encounters, which in turn further drives levels higher and higher, is highly destructive to the long-term viability of the game.0 -
If the levels didn't scale you'd still be as behind as you are currently now because it'd also be easier for everyone ahead of you. In fact you might fall even more behind because the guys ahead usually have the right combination of characters which means they can faceroll the new missions even easier. The only way it can be advantageous for you is if you can't win but actually have a ton of time to play. But I really doubt that's the case because that sure didn't work out for people in Heroic Oscorp, where in theory you could do some of the easier missions every refresh to overtake the guys who are only hitting the big missions a few times, except something like that never happened because the amount of time you need to pull it off is staggeringly high, and that mission didn't have any rubberbanding which is advantageous for grinders (rubberbanding tends to remove any advantage gained by grinding as long as the guy can defeat harder missions than you can).
I'm sitting at #86 and haven't done too much in the latest missions. Usually I just do the BP/Panther required mission 3 times and didn't even bother with the main ones. I missed like 5K at the start from miscalculating the effect of rubberbanding on the main mission so that's probably 20 places I'm missing that I could've gotten. By the way, you've to be willing to take some risks to beat the BP required mission unless you want to take 30 minutes per battle. I never used Spiderman on the BP required mission, not because he's weak, but that taking 30 minutes to stunlock is not my idea of fun so I take risks instead, and yes that means sometimes you die immediately and waste 3 health packs but that's where the risk comes in.0
