Was top 5 in my bracket from winning against 50s teams to roughly same level as me (85,70,60) now I am probably going to drop all the way to top 45 thanks to a never ending stream of 141, 141, 141 teams. Because, yeah, if my best team averages in the 70s, I can beat people who average twice that. Seems fair . . .

And if I want to try to get back to top 5, I need to pay the skip tax to try to find someone who I can beat, with no guarantee that I won't just throw iso away hoping to find someone whose average is below 100.

i've been getting pounded with -6 and -8's all day at work... My retaliation queue has to be pushing 400+ pts by now. Can't wait to go home and drop -40 bombs on the poor saps who aren't shielded.

EDIT: Okay, done pushing, got my 1k ISO. Hopefully get another IW cover out of this, but if not, I won't weep.
EDIT2: Holy crackerjacks I picked a good time to shield, been smacked 3 times within only a handful of minutes since putting one up.

No one is playing in my bracket. I went up to 500 for the HP but want Ares covers. No attacks. I retreated my way down 200+ points and thought I was going to have to start healing up for it. 39 now but that should be easy to fix when my level six's heal up.

Got to 440 points 6 hours ago, thinking i would be attacked like ALWAYS, as i wanted the Ares covers. 6 hours later and i haven't been attacked once and still in the top 15. WELCOME LOKI TO YOUR NEW HOME.

This is such an interesting tourney, with the rewards being a 3* that noone wants, and one of the best 2*s in the game. I've been sitting at around 50-55 range all night. Just now, my heart skipped a beat as I got a win on defense.

I'm gonna have to keep a close eye as the night closes. Normally, people on the border need to watch for lower ranks leapfrogging them, but right now I really need to watch for people in the 35-45 range trying to tank their way down to the Ares covers

Hey, I like Loki. As a character. Not in MPQ sense lol. I wasn't even aiming for him, but only because he seemed unreachable, and 3 Ares covers are better than 1 Loki cover. But I somehow retaliated my way high enough and gave in to Lokiness. I can't bring myself to like Ares. He doesn't do much to the board except one single Sunder CD tile, which seems boring. Overly muscular types? Meh.

i have him level 70 and i use(d) him alot. His green is also good if you keep it for awhile before unleashing it. Always used to pair him with Daken

Who did you usually use for 3rd? Ares + Daken = only one person left to do something to the board/enemy AP/etc. Pure damage is fun, when your enemies are mooks.

used to use c.storm or wolvie but that's when i had nobody else leveled. They were my team for like a month lol now i have obw and frank, so wolvie and Ares only come out for special occasions.

I think I've skipped fighting you at least 7 times. They really need to solve the problem of showing the same people over and over again.

Man, I just retreated twice to drop from #45 (where I was stuck all day) to #48.

That just feels weird.
