    ALL non duplicates!

    and they were good cards too - Undergrowth Champion(!) Serpentine Spike, and Ugin's Insight (the uncommon was turn against... now all I need is fertile thicket and scour from existence)

    I really think they should guarantee rares with fatpacks and mythics with big boxes. I would probably spend money on this game if they did.

    Could have been worse, I guess, but it still hurts a bit to have 12 rares and mythics combined and pull one that I already own...

    What about 3 big box + 5 fat pack + 11 packs and I got only 3 mythics, 2 of them duplicates, while I had only 5 out of 24 mythics of bfz(not counting the ones in oath)?

    I can beat all that! 1 BfZ big box:

    1 rare from the Oath pack
    38 uncommon.

    Rest were commons. And I still don't even have Scour!

    so i opened up 1 big boxe, 2 fat packs, and 5 basic bfz boosters yesterday after the update. First i open my big box, got 2 mythics, oblivion sower and kozilecks return(sweet, considering how bad other peoples draws were) and i believe 5 rares, 2x the new blue frog looking card drawer, meh, a remorseless punishment, that new red/blue merfolk card drawer, and some other duplicates. The basics and fat packs gave me nothing but maybe like 4 rares, all were duplicates, except for the dust stalker that i got in a basic booster which i can actually use.

    and then today i get the other 50 or so crystals i needed to get another big box. the results were, you can say, surprising.

    first the good, i got 4 mythics, FOUR mythics. and only one rare :O. now the bad, the first mythic i draw is, wait for it.......kozileks return -_- then my next mythic was, wait for it......oblivion sower....seriously, like holy **** how do i get the same 2 mythics from back to back big boxes. and the only rare i get this time around was remorseless punishment, which i drew yesterday as well in the big box. after a few more draws of garbage or duplicates, i draw nissas renewal, sweet i really wanted that card, and my last myhthic was quarantine field which i already have. i drew 32 uncommons, 6 were new cards, one being grip of desolation, which i also really wanted, and the rest were your usual doodoo/commons.

    so yeah, never have i been so dissapointed to draw 4 mythics before, especially with these new drop rates since some people get jack. but all in all i pretty much only got maybe 5 cards that were useful to me out of about 220 total draws, but i guess i cant complain. but i wanna lol

    Origins big box:
    32 uncommon.
    Only the guaranteed rare. No mythics. This is so stupid. Make challenges so hard you have to have multiple mythicsto beat them, then make the drop rate so low that you have to spend hundreds of dollars to hopefully open anything worthwhile. An observed rare drop rate of 1:71 cards is absurd.

    When you have 5 card packs, maybe don't decide to make your rare/mythic distribution even rarer than in paper Magic.

    I was tempted to drop $100 on this game with the increase from 3000 crystals to 4000 crystals and the addition of an additional booster in the big boxes. But with these drop rates, I'd rather not risk it just to get 1 or 2 duplicate rares/mythics.

    It's actually 2000 to 4000 crystals. Plus the big boxes give OGW packs that are supposed to at least have a rare in them.

    It is a touch misleading when they promote a sale with the tag 100% more. Before, you got a certain percentage boost based on how much you paid. The biggest box was 50% more crystals for your money. They increased the 50 to 100. The breakdown of percentages is:
    crystals %was %is Increase of
    100 0 10 10
    220 10 25 15
    500 25 50 25
    1300 30 75 45
    3000 50 100 50

    Before the boost in crystals, the 100 dollar pack gave you 50% more instead of 100% more, so it went from 3000 to 4000. Otherwise nobody would have bought 2000 for 100 dollars when it didn't have any additional value.

    Hot dog, those awards from the event were GENEROUS! Already earned back another Big Box...

    2nd Origins Big Box

    6 Rares - no duplicates, none previously owned! (Talent of the Telepath is my favorite of the bunch)
    25 Uncommon - no duplicates (out of 25! Swift Reckoning is by far the best of those, but finally having Reclaim is nice)
    40 Common - 4 duplicates, 2 triplicates, and 4 Runed Survivors (but finally Mantle of Webs, after all this time...)

    This provided some nice reparation for my last Big Box pulled. Sorry to hear of the bad experiences above (I, too, have felt the wailing and gnashing of teeth), but it's good to know the drops aren't all terrible. As last time, it's just the luck of the draw.

    Well that was very surprising. I just beat the 2nd to last PvE event match in chapter 2 and got one of the new booster packs. It had:

    2 M
    1 R
    2 U

    The funny thing was, both mythics were Crush of tentacles, which luckily I didn't have. But still 2 identical mythics in one pack of 5 cards is pretty insane.
    The rare was a duplicate and I got 1 new uncommon.

    but to be fair, the event paid for most of it, and I got one new mythic from an OGW pack from the event:
