I was in the same boat as you. I needed yellow and red to get Thor to 4/4/5 but I couldn't justify the extra HP, so I finished 15th.

I find that once you've cover maxed your characters you reduce the chance of pulling useful covers from tokens and then the game becomes less fun because I love drawing good stuff from tokens.

QUESTION for everyone:

In season 1, how many points did you get in the simulator???

I got 2470 which placed me top 50.

I'm closing in on 2000 in season 2 and I can't quite decide on when to make the final push.

It's true that getting 3*s you don't need from tokens is just too bad, but having a new shiny L141 characters is a very nice feeling. My LThor is high enough already that I'll be there by the end of the weekend or really soon after.

I was just over 2000 for S1 simulator and I'm around 1500 currently, I'll be aiming somewhere around the same for this season. Sticking to 40+ points matches so retails are useless to my opponents and pushing now-ish because the rate of attacks is fairly low and I have limited time this weekend.

Managed to stay in Top 10 for this one, 3 LThor covers straight to the bank! Cage Match has been great for me lately.
My FaThor is still pretty underleveled so I think I'll focus more on the simulator, slogging through buffed Lards of Thunder won't be fun.

I tanked too much so now I'm only seeing 2* teams with the odd 3* sprinkled in. This means that I can't find nodes worth more than 35.

I'm seeing the same in PvP.

Glad to see that tanking has a downside.

I've started leveling featured heroes to 85 which will make my roster pleasing to look at for some of you

Just lurking between PVP and Simulator sessions... I didn't want to post in the X-127 recruitment thread, but from a reward distribution and ranking perspective, it's actually better for more alliances that all the heavies congregate in a few alliances. It allows the 101-105 ranking alliances to start moving in cause the points per rank curve becomes lopsided - which is fine since it's still in the parameters of D3's reward distribution model. That is, rank X and rank X+1 (in the top100) can be separated by 1 point or 10K points... it doesn't matter. They both can get the same alliance rewards.

So work is totally kicking my ****, I work for Loews Hotels, which here in Orlando is all the hotels on property of Universal Studios, the hotel i'm at is brand new and we are opening the second half of it on monday...SO.....lots has been happening, but i'm putting in games here and there, once the hotel gets in the swing of things being fully operational i'll be kicking **** more regularly again. i check out chat every now and then.....but when i do have time to really put in a few games its like 3am here and no one is on LOL so i don't have anyone to talk to.

We have a few hours left... and we are at the brink of the alliance reward rankings. It has been a wild Season. The team has weathered many adversities and avoided much drama. This Season has seen some loss of the some original Bears as well as new Bears stepping up. I never set out to make the finest alliance originally, but everyone who participated has made it that way. This is the CareBearStare Season 2 roster:

Well done CareBears! I went to sleep 2 hours before the end of the season when we were hovering around 90th.

My 10-pack:

- Spidey Blue (Puts me at 4 blue)
- Hawkey
- Daredevil (red)
- C.Storm
- Cap 2*
- Bagman (wouldn't be a 10-pack without him)
- C.Storm
- C.Mags purple (allows me to respec; 4/5/4 or 5/4/4?)

I'm real happy with that draw. Not the heroes I wanted but I can use each one of the 3*.

I don't know how you guys pulled off that last minute climb. I kept looking and I think we got within 300-400 of 100th, I was pretty nervous there. I was able to get top 50 in the PVP to earn that Hood cover, but for my efforts, I have been thrown into the 4th level of MMR hell. I see no 85s any more. Got another yellow IW but still no blue.

5/4/4 You defeinitely want 3 in red and 5 in blue/Purple. IMO.

@DD, I respecced my OBW (whome I never use) to 3/5/5 from 5/3/5, should be more "status quo". Still dont like her, still dont use her... but meh...

I had a 24 hour shield up in Thor PVP from midnight + 5 the night before. I was getting shield bounces worth +3 ~ +5 for a while which kicked me up about 50 points. I didn't have the courage to unshield and try to hop... But, I was kicking butt in Simulator to help those points. And than, all of a sudden, BOOM - we move into top 90...

Everyone who pushed at the end, WOW! And a special shout out to Fearless Care Bear leader, with an awesome final tally!!

Great job DECOYDUCK for Gold!

AGCENTURION (coincidence? I think not), I am pretty does it on purpose to pick up SILVER!

Rounding off the top 3 - well, me...

BERKOWICZ, Ben and Sup with over or very close to 11K... Also deserves merit and mention.

And let us not forget everyone else who contributed throughout the season to our continued success. Both with us and no longer with us, our never forgotten Bears... That's the likes of YOU: Fedlex, Purinxa, even K.Mon and Cochonnet who had swooped in and saved us into the top 100 in a few PvPs... They also deserve mention and merit. If I forgot anyone, I am sorry - it is Monday morning and my brain is not caught up with my fingers yet...

I really like 5/5/3 at the moment. There never seems to be enough Blue AND Red on the board to maximise damage with magnetic translocation so I'll wait a week and pray that they release some info on the C.Mags funbalance (not likely but one can hope).

I'll echo the sentiment that everyone did really well.

Also, AgCenturion took gold in Lord Of Thunder PvP ahead of DecoyDuck and BenGrimm.

SOOO, how do people feel going forward into season 3? I will be slowing down. PvE is not fun at all, but at least it's more manageable since refresh timer was introduced. I've got a lot of heroes cover maxed which means that in PvP I don't want to fight for covers I don't need so I'll be playing for ISO rather than covers and saving on HP.
