I'd skip on Patches (as much as it saddens me) on account of too much colour overlap with your current top dogs and on X-Force on account of uselessness (also overlap I suppose). Either of the other ones is a solid choice but I personally find Magneto more fun to use.

I also third the statement on PVP. I would really like something other than single featured cover tourneys. And if they must stick to those, more time between repeats (repeating rewards is ok with me to let people reach a useful number of covers on given 3*s but repeating rewards doesn't mean you have to repeat tourneys)

I never like to be contrarian to Kamu, but I'd say Honey Badger Patch because... X-Force isn't ready for prime time and C.Mags still need a couple more covers, and Panther just because... I hardly ever use him.

I agree there's a lot of color overlap, but he can play backup when Hulk on PunPun needs a break.

Depending on who else you use for board management during goon squads, Patch can also be used there without too much concerns for the self-inflicted strike tiles.

No, that's totally fair. I was going with the working hypothesis that they would be used together for a fully 3* team but I'll be the first to admit that I do an awful lot of Pun/OBW/featured, Patch/OBW/featured, Hulk/OBW/featured (with the Hulk boost in TaT, mine is too low otherwise) (OBW is totally a crutch for me you think?) And that Patch is fabulous to have around. And Cage Match is ongoing. So it's a solid choice. I never find myself using BP unless I'm desperate for just a bit more cannon fodder in PVE either. Maybe that's a sign not to go there then. I do think that there are enough Mags covers to be helpful, even though it's not the most powerful combination of 10 covers.

I'll be saving up my iso through Cage Match to put into Lazy Thor once I have the extra covers at the end of the tournament so I am no longer soft-capped. He hits very very hard.

How much ISO are you sitting on?

Sometimes I buy three Standard packs with ISO when I really want a new 3*. Doesn't always work of course but doing that from time to time has been worth it for me.

How much ISO are you sitting on?

Sometimes I buy three Standard packs with ISO when I really want a new 3*. Doesn't always work of course but doing that from time to time has been worth it for me.

I have only 900 ISO left after taking Hulk to the 128 soft cap. I tried the leaving it to chance route when I was sitting on 9 covers for these 3 along with psylocke then got a BP and C.Mags from my 2 tokens from the PvE sub last night then the Patches cover today so all that ended up resolving was that it wasn't going to be psylocke!

I'm surprised there's no BP love here. I liked him during his PvP feature I just don't have anyone that really pairs well with him. I would have started to level C.Mags some a few weeks ago if it wasn't for the upcoming Nerf. I'd hate to invest in someone that may be neutered in a week or two.

So Patches sounds like the winner right now unless someone feels strongly for BP.

I've heard that tanking no longer works, but has anyone tried playing exclusively with CStorm/MNMags (or OBW)? It's great on offense and more importantly, completely horrid on defense so you should be getting smacked around by weaker teams. A 128+115 team would get smacked around by 141+141 teams but ignored by 85+85 team. If even then 85+85 teams are smacking the living **** out of you, then that SHOULD lower your MMR significantly. That is assuming tanking works

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was any chance of a slot opening up in the near future that I could slide into? I am currently in an alliance just for convenience, but they never talk and have no real coordination. I play 9/10 days. Generally make the top 50. Have 24ish heroes. And need help making the transition to leveling and adding 1 or 2 of the 3* that I have and the best way to do it. Your alliance sounds perfect and I would love a chance to join up.

@RWTD:Burn: I like Panther (mine is 110) and when you think about it, Hulk and Punisher would tank black for him. You'd only be missing purple in the rainbow at that point.

My heart says to level BP but my brain says Patch. He's been featured and boosted so much lately.

Awesome job on Thick as Thieves everybody! We rocked that!

I grabbed my three Storm covers with a bonus Hulk black from my last event token. That was the thirteenth cover for Hulk for me, so I'll be looking into pouring some iso there in the medium-term to make him a true smashing machine. Hulk smash!

Time to shred some fools to pieces in Cage Match…

And let me second DecoyDuck's message not to forget that there are easy points to be collected in the Simulator. Skipping around once or twice will almost always yield a match worth more than 40 points until you're over 1000, so it goes up quickly and it's a great way to add to your Season contribution.

the event was horrible, season 2 is almost over. Cage Match is running for another 36 hours. If you need an outlet, I recommend the simulator to boost your season scores. Keep the Cage Match for tomorrow if at all possible and minimise on shields (overnight) - save some Hero Points.

Let me say I'm glad to see a "soft" PVE with its IM40 rewards. Sure, I'll grind it for ISO and such, but even the Storm progression reward is not enough to mark my time with this thing.

We're still in the running for Season 2 so let's focus there!

Crazy day. PVP land was up to the low to mid 900s this morning. Currently in the low to mid 500s. It was expected though because I was winning easily against 141+ teams. Now there's another PVP and 2 PVE subs (not expecting the PVE). Lots of discussion about tanking. I don't have the time to actually play and lose but I was able to win a match in Lard (against 85s) with my 31 LT and 69/Dakan+Bullseye. So hopefully those will be nice targets for folks and I can see how it goes. Today I got 3 Health Packs in my daily so I should be able to make another big push tonight in the Cage PVP.

In retrospect, I probably should not have sold off those covers nor should I have wasted the ISO. But both are easy to gain back. Maybe I will keep playing for a bit more after all.

This Cage Match is costing me mucho HP, but I want the last 2 LThor covers I need! I will not be able to spend nearly as much on the final PVP of the season sadly. Less long term shielding doesn't mean worse result, however.
