We aren't casual, but we are calm, relaxed and focused in the manner by which we compete in events.

We win because we want to win, and we want to see our fellow Care Bears win by our sides. We don't have arbitrary minimums that we must meet or be punished, we simply do the best we can for ourselves and for each other. We win because we CARE about each other, and as such, we STARE down the competition.

So if i remember last time Prodigal Sun ran there were meters to be filled. This time it is lacking that, but do we still think there is a free sentry at the end? If so I only need top 25 for pvp, not top 5 to hit 13 covers on sentry. Which will be much more sane to achieve.

The nodes that were unlocked when the meter filled have been there from the beginning. So my thoughts are the one for the free Sentry cover will be as well. Granted, it is his red which is arguably his worst since it doesn't have the same level of synergy that the other two powers do.

I dont know, there is always the argument of "best build" and so forth.

I play around with my builds a lot and have found I rather like Sentry with a 544 as opposed to 355. So red is a massive one shot AoE. Teamed with his yellow and Laken strike tiles, it is a monster of a hit. Plus, I dont have to depend on Hood being 355 as well. I like my hood at 553. His black almost only serves Sentry.

Red AoE is end your turn. So, make sure when it goes off, your turn ends and the round as well. WR is alright, but can be easily countered with defensive tiles. Or turned back by OBW.

Sure - the hoppers play Sentry Bombing in PvP and that seems to work for them, but my combo of Laken / Xforce mows through those teams... I can hop just as fast and with less boosts. I guess it comes down to comfort zone. I would rather have 2 true healers that allow me to hop real quick and take down the bombers - than the bomber that's costing me healthpacks every hop.

I won't forget. I'm at 100 points right now and my strategy is to run and snipe up to 1000+ in the final hours. Shhhh... don't tell anyone...

Well, with the new token thing, I know what I"ll be spending all of the weekend of the 17th-19th doing....

Just wandering if it is still possible to join you guys, my ingame name is NumaiiTalent and my current alliance is Marvel JP.

Some quick facts: latest PvE event rank 1 with 136k points, and I generally get 300 in PvE for the token and about 500-750 if I want/need the covers, started very late in current season due to work/classes. PM for any more details and if you are interested, if not, thank you for your time!

Yeah, I was starting to get a little concerned about that too. I figured I was probably safe until I hit 1000, but I also would have likely hit 1000 by the end of season 7.

Good morning NumaiTalent. To my knowledge, we are currently not recruiting. The end of season 6 is approaching though and historically the time between the end of a season and the start of a new one is when alliances such as CareBearStare often see some attrition. Keep an eye out for the "Now Recruiting" banner for the subject thread and then IM DecoyDuck as he's the bear in charge.

Since DecoyDuck is clearly gun-shy about tooting our own horn since the last time he did it about us being consistently in the top 50 in PvP we then finished 51'st for the only time this season, I'm going to borrow his soapbox and do it for him. In the last 2 PvE events we have finished 4th and 6th. For an alliance that doesn't focus on one type of event over the other and work for top 50 results in both PvP and PvE, that's just ridiculous. You don't get Top 10 in events by a hand full of members carrying the team, it's takes the entire alliance to accomplish it. Every member of CareBearStare should take pride in this accomplishment as few alliances ever sniff the top 10.

Now that I have said this I realize how bad my MMR is and am genuinely wondering if tanking my way to the end of the season to do better in anniversary week isn't the better plan

Kamu, you joined the enemy! Jan noticed you were in Thunderkitties yesterday. You showed up in her queue twice. She first saw you there, then skipped a few battles to come back to your name and find out whether she had read it correctly

BTW, Punter shows up in Jan's queue all the time. She's always skipping him/her. They say over two million downloads, but you end up meeting the same people over and over.
