You lost first the moment you got into my bracket lol. I am going to shield leapfrog as I need to get into first (first at 823 right now). I want 4 red before the wolvie buff comes in (hopefully) and this tournement is as good a time a time as any for that. Need that yellow in the psylocke tournement as well, but I don't know if I will be able to push hard in both that and the pve. So I will probably have to just make one big push and shield up.

I think you may have to unshield again to keep your top 5 Ben. I have a feeling top 5 for our bracket will be around 740-750 by the end from what I am seeing. For first I will be at about 870+ if nobody really pushes as I plan to shield leap twice. I've earned a little from defenses too, so keep that in mind. Even somebody shielded could gain 10-20 points out of nowhere.

Ya I put up an 8 hour after I hit first, not far ahead of second, he can catch me if he wants but its too during prime time to get farther with my cover capped team and not running a healer. Only breached 700 due to a successful defense. The Ladder attacked me with like his version of my team but max level, had to hit him on principle back but my entire team almost wiped. Should be golden for top 5 anyways. 0/0/3 Psylocke might get some new powers.

Going out to play the magic cards tonight as always, I can usually top 15 easy but I needed to finish this tourney now and I can do a few pve matches later. Too many things ending on a Friday night.

Sorry didn't even realize you were on the forums. I'm shielded out now and won't retaliate.

At 826 in first with everyone else in low 600s. After I shielded though got hit for like 120 in 5 minutes

Oddly no one's hit me since I shielded. It was a long slog through those last50 points to first. I can oonly assume we all shielded at the same time.

Ya I got hit twice by the same guy right as I shielded for -20 both times but after that nothing. Was hoping for at least 1 successful defense to put some distance from second. But seems to have stopped already. When I log in from not playing for a while and see I have been hit X times, my retaliation options never match up 1to1 when we are within heavy shield hours. You must drop from queue stacked retaliation nodes unless you are the only one in that node stack.

Sitting at number 3 with 712 and shielded for the rest of the even since I won't be able to play anymore today. Below rank 5 is all sitting at less than 600 so hopefully this will hold. Only have 1 black Psylocke cover so far so it would be really nice to finally pick up the rest.

While I'd like the Wolvie cover, I'm not willing to put any real effort into it - it would be my first one, and while it would be nice, it would be kinda useless And I'm not going to kill myself for top 5; I don't care about Psylocke enough. I'm guessing it's going to take 800 for top 5 and I'm going to be short of that. I'm hoping I'm wrong and my 750 or whatever I end up with gets me all three covers.

I'm starting to get tired of this boosted guy+2 tournament structure, I have to admit. The 1* tournament was the only variant we've had lately,and it was even more repetitious because every team was identical.

Just finished my climb and shielded. (Little over 800. Could have climbed further and strangely had zero attacks. Maybe due to massive tanking this time or this 7-5 hours before end period is idle?)

I fought first leg with 77 CMags, Patch&OBW then over 500 mostly used Patch/Hulk instead. And was fighting 85** teams with MN mag.

My experience with those matches are that I barely ever used the purple ability. With OBW it was mostly put on recon and without her I collected purple only to kill the berseker tiles or to have Patch in front. When I had the purples the game was already won.

However blue was really helpful, even at 8 AP, saved my **** several times. I'm in love with this skill so versatile.
But the main kill engine was the red, mine at 3 AP, with 2 would be even more killer. After berseker it does just crazy damage and in the meantime is huge help with bad board.

I admit if I was fighting evolved *** stuff it might be very different but for this I keep to my original opinion that lowest AP in blue and red creates the edge, purple is only icing on the cake.

At this moment at least, I'm sure funbalancing will not leave those costs.

Pasa, I think I'm in your bracket. The piranhas are out now. I was trying to climb 850~, dropped 100~. Barely scrapped back up to shield.

Even though I want the Psylocke covers, the changes to cover selling make me less inclined to shield since it's much harder to get HP now.

These Magnetic tournaments are the first time I've really used Classic Magneto much and it's been a pleasure. That purple skill can be absolutely beastly, and the blue can certainly save your bacon in a pinch. Since my red is only at level two I haven't used it much. I shielded at 719 in 4th place - hope that will be enough to grab a top 15 finish.

I think someone else really wants it. I'm a fairly new player so I'm just still testing the waters. I managed to get my Ares from 60 to about 82 with the current PVE. Gunning for first is probably still out of my league. Going to scrap and get more 3* covers.

I missed a lot of the 3* give aways back in Jan due to my current work schedule. My hulk is 3-0-0

Yep, already fell to #3. Seem my estimate was off for this run. Hopefully the 60 pts behind me is tempting enough for further climbers to stop there so I can stay in 5 as originally planned.
