  • Nigeria Has just unlocked. Peru going to need a big push to make it in the next 11 and a half hours.

    One thing to remember is that there are going to be 2 subs each day, which means that we get 2k iso per day (assuming we unlock both missions). The simulator subs ran 3 days and gave us 3.5k, which is closer to 1k a day, so we're actually getting more iso with this event than the simulator.
  • Nobody's shocked by the fact that to be able to play this broken game's event you have to send low level cannon fodder and fail voluntarily a lot of fights to fight decent levels opponents ?
    What kind of game make you lose voluntarily to balance its broken system ? That's totally insane, and i certainly won't play this anymore (in fact i can't but obviously D3 team doesn't care).

    True, didnt think of it like that. However as the event progresses scaling may play a big factor in getting both each day. Currently peru isnt looking good and its the first day.

    I probably wont be affected by it simply because my roster can handle 230s, but I sympathize with the mid-tier players. I remember back when I was using Thorverine for 230s prenerf, I don't know how I would be even able to beat those missions not fully boosted and post-nerf. Maybe consider investing in the buffed characters like C. Storm to have a better chance at clearing them.
  • I guess i consider myself a mid tier player and i can with patience, luck and a 5 blue spidey complete the 230's. I just think that they are making it too hard for a majority of people. The normal and hard sims were eventually both hard, level capping was needed for the normal sim. So far i dont have any 230s in either map but they are creeping up. One map should be capped and have lower rewards the other should be hard and have higher rewards. I dont know if people have had 230's in both or whether one is capped or not this round. Im not complaining, i like a challenge and i like slowly building my favourite characters through decent and fun gameplay, its just sometimes it doesnt feel like fun.

    I've ground almost all nodes down to zero in both sub brackets and my goons have stayed static, no increases in levels. Doesn't look good for Peru unlocking the final level. Its only at 50M of the 125M needed. Its so much nicer not having to grind 230's non stop, hope it stays this way.

  • My enemies are currently only level 140, which feels like a blessing after the Sim. Thanks to shielding in Magnetic Mayhem I got 2 covers for Punisher, which actually makes him usable, especially buffed (still not true for Daredevil alas). The fun thung is I am playing with the calculator to see if the enemy already has only 20% of their health or not.
  • This episode seems to be working well for me. Enemy levels increasing but haven't seen anything too high. Seems to be fairly well balanced for my roster. Only issues are Daredevil required for a goon match which makes no sense, and Psylocke required and I don't have her yet.

    Easier solution: first number in enemy's HPx200 = when you can use red. I.e. if Rag has 7xxx HP, then you can one-shot him around 14xx HP. Makes use of it so much easier.
  • gosh... another event after another... totally burned out... guess i just play casually for this event instead go full all out in 24 hours =.=!!!
    just gonna remain top 50 so as least one black panther cover is enough for me for the future coming event....
  • Well from what I see this looks to be a 12 hour reset for a full reset. I did get a small reset after 8 hours. I waited til the 12 hour make and my points per node went from ~80s to ~350s.
  • that tinykitty Ares, feeding from his goons, at least IW has the decency to have a 9 ap green move, not 5! I guess I have to go the slow but reliable way with him, e.g. mStorm/Spidey/oBW.

    Instead of modern storm I would sub in someone with strike tiles so that the damage you do increases overtime. Just my two cents.

    I'm in the mid-tier situation and most of the time I have to rely heavily on boosts to clear the 230s. Classic Storm though boosted is still easy to die with one bad move or a Dino bite. icon_e_sad.gif

    Hasn't worked twice already, and with a colour boost to boot... They just don't have the same utility and life-saving abilities, while their damage is still too low to quickly kill 11k guys anyway. With mStorm I can usually gain all the AP I ever wanted.

    edit: I will try Spidey/Venom just for kicks though, why not again? icon_e_biggrin.gif
