Who will be your first Champion, and Why?

    Looks like my first is going to be Doom. I got his covers from the last PvP and the DDQ today. He's used in lightning rounds and his PvP is going on now, so it's a good fit. The rest I do today will be 2*s - OBW and Storm being the likely candidates.

    Depends on whether or not I still have any unexpired covers by the time they roll this out...

    Kamala Khan.
    She's one of the few 3*s with an arguable "best" build. I want to be able to have her 5/3/5 on offense then switch to 3/5/5 on defense.

    Yeah, chars like Kamala and Blade will really benefit from this.

    Mine will be Cyclops, because he's the first maxed character in my roster, and I have a cover for him that's set to expire in about 3 days.

    So, he might be my first Champion. Or that cover might disappear before the switch is flipped. Who can say?

    Love Hawk-guy's purple, and looking forward to using it against some bigger foes. I have an extra Daken cover, so I figure I'll start with him.

    I can't really choose one, but all my maxed 2*'s ( 7 total) will be championed out of the gate. Once that's done I will move to my three's in which I have 21 maxed. Iso constraints will be a problem there. I only have 2 maxed 4's and about 4 or 5 others at 250.

    Grocket as well, would be good to put his green on offensive and maybe yellow defensive to be annoying.
    Luke Cage, too. I like his red,but his yellow nuke's too good to ignore IMO. So putting 3/5/5 on defense would work nicely without having to sacrifice his yellow nuke on offense.
    Doom as well is a tricky one. I really want to go 5/5/5 with him. I was always stuck between max blue or max black.

    The rest of the 3*s though, as far as I can see, only have one optimal build.

    Cage, KK, Blade, She Hulk and IF are all top of the list for me not because I have a bunch of their covers but because they all have more than 1 viable build, and I think for the most part that's going to be the biggest benefit since getting 100 of any 3* is gonna take a long time.

    I’m going to let the gods of MPQ tell me who to champion, starting with the three stars. So, I guess I’ll be championing Ragnorok, Doc. Ock then Spider-Man – apparently, the gods of MPQ hate me. icon_cry.gif

    I might switch the order and do Spider-Man first. Letting Ragnarok be my first is just wrong. Hopefully Spider-Man will get a buff. Replace his heal with a nice offensive power and he could be fun to use. Healing never made much sense (to me) character-wise for Spider-Man.

    I'm actually surprised that Luke Cage is not mentioned because of the free respec. He can either be a excellent defensive or offensive specialist depending on how he's specced

    Iron Fist, because he's the only level maxed character I have.

    I might bump Cyclops the last 6 levels as I do have a couple covers for him about to expire.

    I'm going to have to go with Punisher, as he was the very first three-star I ever maxed, and so it seems fitting he'll be the first champion.
    In two-star land I'm probably going to go with Original Black Widow, Ares, and Classic Storm. For some reason I still have Classic Storm at level 91, so this will be a good reason to bring her up to 94.

    OBW, because we all loved her before the true healing nerf, and I'm looking for reasons to rekindle the romance. Also her covers should be plentiful.

    And she will hopefully give you GSBW covers at some point in the rewards which can then be used in a virtuous cycle. I think I have about 15-20 oBW covers ready to go.
