Level him to the max and use the purple damage boost. I did it with 3/0/1.
Thanks to your advice, I finally did it. I leveled him to nearly makes soft cap and was able to beat her. Pulled a from the legendary token0 -
As others say, I feel like I'm playing a different game, not even close with 3/1/1 lvl115, there's no way to stop green and purple for that long!
EDIT: wow, I did it! Was down to about 800 HP and she had 650, she would have launched green next, and I spent ages figuring out which of my strike/attack tiles I could get away with matching on my last turn
Green carnage for my troubles, suppose I should buy a slot0 -
Beat is on the second try with a 4/0/2 lvl 147. saved up pink to fire grow and spammed yellow for the W. pulled Antman pink with the token.0

Antman 3/1/1. level 115 , win with 1st try
With all color boost+2 , B/P +2. R/Y+2
Denied purple and green
Fire yellow
collect blue to 18 ap
Fire purple first, then if jean fire TU--> fire blue
When the counting tile decresing--> fire blue again (Grow)
Got 4 star falcon0 -
I managed it with a 3/3/2 level 120 Ant-Man. Basically just denied the hell out of purple and green and used my powers whenever I could. It was down to the wire, though: I finished with about 150 health left!0

After countless efforts (OK, maybe 15 or 16) and two fights where I was 1 round away from winning (woop! Purple for grow! What? The drops make a match 5??? NOOOOOOOOOOO), my 3/0/1 Antman did the job. Extreme purple and green denial, wads of boosts, still a close run thing - one green or purple match away from disaster. Great fun0
-
my antman is 2/0/3 at lvl 127
At first I though I won't even try... but I got rather lucky
The first time I got destroyed, the second I nearly beat her because I could deny pretty much all purple/green....but her TU did me in...
the third time was the same but I could match away the attack tiles easily and beat her (used +2 purple +2 rainbow and full rainbow match dmg boost)
Got a green IW for it......damn0 -
done with 1-2-2. It was easy....well n...it was SUPER HARD (20 Health Packs)
Green IW....well atleast she should be ok for 4* ddq when shes is featured.0 -
1/0/3 started off with level 95 but I bit the bullet and softcapped him at 111. Made a match 3 purple to get her down to 1100+ health. She then made a match 3 green to enable her to fire off Full of Surprises at the next turn but my match 3 purple was enough to power up a 1600 damage Grow and down she went. Beat it with 4 minutes to go.
Red was what I won; my first 4* Cyclops cover.0 -
Success after 13th attempts.
Ant-Man 2/2/2 LVL 127
Hard to do. Key was to match purple and green before her. If she cast of her spell, you loose.
Never get a 5-match, of course. SO don't be lucky as usual.
Success with boosts : +2AP, +2AP, +2AP all. But damaged boost should be fine too.
Good luck0 -
Nope. Not even close all day long. 2/0/1.
Guess I should hope my Starlord does better.0 -
4/0/0 no success... for me. Jean was having all kinds of fun at my expense.0
-
18 tries over the course of the day, 4/1/1 lv.135, beat it. HB Red from the token which was much needed0

First off, this was the first time we squared off against another 4* if I'm not mistaken. So it was both harder and easier at the same time. Easier because 4*'s scale worse than 3*'s and so it was a more even battle, but it is 4* who have crazy good skills.
While I like the format, I'm still wondering about TU's especially come PX time since well that will literally be a matching game, collect purple and deny any color that would give them AoE dmg because unless we get TU's it will be lame.0 -

Xforce Deadpool fought Xforce Wolverine. :U
And yeah PX sounds kinda lame, like at least IW had some weapons to use against Quicksilver.0 -

As someone who once took down a L300 Daken with nothing but PX left on the board, and no special tiles... it's not impossible, but it takes a really, really, really long time. I think I spent about 30 mins on that single match. Pretty much tried to keep blue off the board and prayed for match-5's. The sad part is that it's not even the longest gauntlet match I've ever played with Prof X as final survivor. The defense tile of a L300+ Luke Cage is a lot worse than self-healing.
Patch would actually be rather easy, since he is kind enough to make some strike tiles for you with both his powers.
With Groot you need to try to keep yellow off the board, and for Mr. Fantastic you need to avoid matching his special tiles (not that you'd want to, since stun and enhanced match damage are no threat)
I think Xforce would be the nastiest of the lot, since all 3 of his powers have board shake, so the chance of losing your inviz tile is a lot bigger.0 -
