    The carnage!

    When we started this thing a scant couple of hours ago #1 was in the high 1500s and #10 was in the high 1400s. Now Number 1 is a whopping 1733 until he screws up, while #10 has fallen away to a miserable 1446.

    I got smacked 5 times in 10 minutes once I cracked the 1,000 rank barrier. I can't imagine what this is like for all of you. Best of luck it's entertaining to watch for sure!!

    Meanwhile, Nick is sitting at the unassailable 1733. Peanut is holding out at 1704.
    But Nemek and Neil are FIERCELY battling for the coveted position of third. First Neil's ahead... then Nemek... now Neil...

    weird.. i won my match against bugpop but it only gave me 4 points. after finding him again in queue he was worth 13, how strange.

    How the hell are you getting matched with the top 10?

    I unshielded for one battle with stocky102000 when he got to a point where the battle was worth 40 points. Seemed like a good idea to jump out, fight one battle, an re-shield. Somehow, during the time I was unshielded, I got hit by BlueVortex for -46. His retaliation value to me is 5. Within minutes of shielding, I got hit by three other players for what would have been -37, -28, and -35. I give up. I'll just stay shielded since I'm in 55th place and should remain top-100.

    But, seriously, what is the point to this system? I'm sure glad the Devs have come up with an incentive NOT to play the game. I guess they must be making a mint from the shields.

    i did try to hit nick, looks like i was a few seconds slow. got hit by nick and.. someone else, optimates shortly after i shielded
