    Kinda disappointing if this is true with no warning, especially on a 4* release (I guess not that it's a big deal anymore or anything).

    I would assume it's by accident.
    They've already stated before they've learned not to run tests when a new character is at stake.

    If they don't fix it today... it's the weekend. We'll get it fixed on the last day of the event... maybe.

    Fear not, if it in fact does end up being true that CS was mistakenly put on, we will probably get another shot at Captain Sam in a re run of Venom: Heroic to make up for this mistake.

    ps. I haven't started myself yet so I can't speak to it personally, but what I'm reading makes it sound like this may be the case.

    I love how nearly 24 hours after the event started, and 8+ hours after this topic was posted (during normal business hours) there still has been no response from D3.

    If it's an A/B he won't be able to, like with the vault thingie.

    If it's not, it's Friday, and almost time to go home or to happy hour, in that case, he won't be able to.

    not to mention IceIX made a kickarse Monty Python meme for us in the comics/meme thread, that alone excuses him for the day.

    Thanks for the thread. Looks like this was a bug and a fix is being issued ASAP. Community Scaling should be turned off shortly.

    Will the levels return to normal or remain at their scaled up level?

    Yeah was a bit of a nasty surprise when after my first past the nodes were of the 130-180 region, but a few hours later without doing anything everything had jumped like 30-50 additional levels! And the end of the first sub in the final ten minutes my hardest node was lvl 340! I hadn't seen anything over 300 outside of gauntlet and ultron events since they turned off the community scaling a few months back...

    I guess it's a just a taster for the new folks to show them what it used to be like... icon_rolleyes.gif

    Well I guess that explains the 368 Bullseye + Muscles when I just started the event. One Threaten went off and it was game over.

    community scaling should never be in this game because of how hard some people like to grind nodes or unknowingly grind them into oblivion making PvE unmerciful for the rest of us.

    please take it out of the game completely as it is just a cancer that plagues how fun the game can be.
