If you keep his green low, and pair him Kamala, she can bash them low with her green, then let bullseye get the kill.
But there are way better things I could do with that slot, instead of keeping a guy there waiting for a chance to put up 800 in strike tiles.

I guess that's part of it - I don't see pairing him with Iron Fist. I think I'm going to focus on him as a survival node specialist, since all of his skills would be good for that.
True, but I think we already have enough tools that fit that niche. If only his purple were blue or red, I could've had some fun with him...

My initial gut reaction from reading just his abilities was overall positive actually, but as others have stated so far, it's really his color combination that seems to be a bit awkward as far as pairing him with others that seems to detract from his appeal a good bit.

Bullseye grabs anything at hand and hurls it with deadly accuracy. Turns 2 selected Attack, Protect, or Strike tiles to basic tiles and deals 246 damage.
Dev note: Either friendly or enemy tiles can be selected.
      Level Upgrades
Level 2: Deals 327 damage. Level 3: Deals 415 damage. Level 4: Deals 585 damage. Level 5: Deals 924 damage.
      Max Level
Level 3: Converts up to 2 tiles and deals 1320 damage. Level 4: Converts up to 2 tiles and deals 1859 damage. Level 5: Converts up to 2 tiles and deals 2936 damage.

Can we get clarification on his purple at max level. It says converts up to 2 tiles, does that mean in addition to the 1320 - 2936 dmg the move does, it converts the tile from enemy to friendly?
    • Reminds me a lot of Squirrel Girl: a conditional purple, an expensive green, and a 3rd power that most people don't seem to care for.

I'm really finding it hard to see where I would use him over Kamala.

      Hey All,

Miles from Demiurge here to give you a heads up on a known issue with our newest 3-Star, Bullseye.

Bullseye’s Black power, Contract Killer, triggers when he deals the final blow to an enemy. There’s currently a bug when he deals the final blow to the last enemy in the match (or last enemy in a horde wave).

If Bullseye deals the final match damage to the last enemy in the match, but continues to cascade for additional matches, his Contract Killer ability will fire multiple times, one for every additional match in the cascade.

There’s a similar issue with the Hand Teisatsu’s Turn to Smoke power. We have a fix for both issues that will come in the R77 update.

      Thank You.

Thanks for the quick heads up, I see he is added as a reward for The Simulator event, I am guessing that he has been added to token pulls as well?

Lethal Improvisation does kinda put Elektra's "double-double-cross" to shame.

      Both cost 7 ap.

Bullseye destroys two special tiles OF YOUR CHOICE (friendly or enemy) and deals 2900 in direct damage.

Elektra steals two enemy strike tiles (if present) and makes them significantly stronger and creates some weak enemy strike tiles. It does no direct damage. At five covers it can sometimes steal 3 tiles.

Even assuming elektra could steal and buff 3x strike tiles to a strength of 300 or so, you would still need all three tiles to survive for at least three matches or damaging abilities to approach the direct damage from Bullseye. And Elektra does nothing against any other special tiles. And its random. And it only gives the enemy 3 weak strike tiles if there are no strike tiles present.

I guess it makes sense that Bullseye managed to kill elektra. . .

It's cuz D3 is stuck on Keeping Elektra as is when her Black/Red/Purples need serious looking at. New character, better power, League of Legends syndrome

Am I the only one that wishes his Black passive was replaced with the Purple passive from his 2* version? I'd much rather have free protect tiles for the entire match, than the *possibility* of strike tiles once or twice a match.

Nope, let's get as far away from Non-Luke Cage protect tiles, okay D3 *Not-RIP Adamantium bones* buh-bye

I believe this is what the kids refer to as a 'first world problem'

I don't understand the gripes? Black is situational and rarely-trigging but free and literally accelerates the demise of the opponent by 4 (at 5 covers). Purple is a bit unimpressive but cheap and the added bit of functionality is a nice cherry on top. Green is a bit expensive for a not game-ending move but it's tons of fun. Strategically removing tiles to create cascades is a fun minigame on its own that I look forward too.

I agree that there are better, more efficient characters in those colours, but whenever I don't need a quick victory or I'm not facing super-hard opponents, I'll be including him on teams.

So people who get their hands on that black ability early are gonna have a good time.
    • I think the hardest play situation to figure out with him is: do you save his purple until you can kill someone with it, incurring the black bonus, letting those enemy strike/attack/shield tiles damage/hinder you until you get them to the 2936 hit point threshold? The other problem is making sure another character's ability doesn't kill the enemy outright.

Purple is key to triggering black, so I can't see it being at less than 5.
      With Green\Black 3=>5 you're trading off from 4 to 5 destroyed tiles + 1319 dmg vs 378 in strikes
Black is better in waves. Green might be better when fighting scaled characters.

Will have to see how it works in practice.

Really hoping they adjust his passive. It's fine that it's situational, but the fact that in the best case scenario it will trigger twice makes it really lackluster.

Played with him a bit and he's pretty much what I expected.

Purple: Cannot be used on an empty board for just damage. If only 1 tile it can be used to select that one tile, if 2 or more are present you choose which 2. To clarify, if 1 is present the skill makes you select 1 of 1, if 2 or more are present you need to select 2 out of 2 (think GSBW or MMag purple, its either 1 empty circle or 2 depending on the state of the board). If there are 2 friendly tiles and 1 enemy tile you must select 2.

Black: Even with max covers it only spits out 819 worth of tiles randomly around the board. For reference Magneto spits out 9x 53 strength tiles with 5 cover yellow and those disappear quickly, same thing ends up happening with Bullseye. Maybe its bias but I find special tiles on specific colors tend to last longer because they're less vulnerable to random matching and its easier to keep them isolated.

Green: Pretty fun but very board state dependent, I had to save it a few turns to ensure I could get several (usually match 3's) off. Its pretty similar to SG's green in that its a little hard to gather that much green and when it does go off its usually not game ending.

His color scheme is purple black green which means he'll probably only tank 2 colors with Blade. He can tank either 3 or 1 with Daken but if he's tanking 3 Daken's passive is wasted and if he's only tanking 1 its hard to get killing blows outside of ability use. He's not so bad with Luke Cage.

Also his animations make him look like a pervert.

He is probably worth having, but these days defense if half the game and this Bullseye is among the worst defensive heroes. His black will probably not trigger at all and his green - if the tile choice is anything like GSBW's purple - will just destroy 5 random tiles and not cause any cascades. Maybe a match-3 if we are lucky.
Even purple, which is his best ability, will most likely target some of your special tiles. If they make the AI smart enough to target enemy tiles first, or not target your own since the damage is not related to the destroyed tiles, then he may be worth bringing with you. That being said, I doubt he will replace other heroes with purple powers, like Khamala, Blade or IF.

His overall numbers just feel really really low. Especially in a game where everyone is boosted to hell.

And egads, that's a really bug-eyed looking game art. I'll never understand what Daken saw in this guy.

Best case scenario is he's overscaled dark avenger or survival node

Seems like yet another Swing and a Miss. Not only in terms of utility, but also the character choice in general. Another multiple instead of a unique choice. There are plenty of villains they could have chosen, if that was part of their motivation. But really, there are so many possibilities, that to rehash the same characters over and over, is getting pretty lame. And even lamer when the character stinks.
